This study aims to determine the feasibility and response of students to invertebrate biology magazines as a learning media in class X MIPA 2 SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak. The research method applied in this research is descriptive. The form of descriptive research used in this research is a survey. The sample in this study were 16 students of class X MIPA 2 SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak. The instruments used were media validation sheets and student response questionnaires. Sources of data in this study were the results of the validation of the feasibility of the magazine media and the responses of class X MIPA 2 students to the media of invertebrate biology magazines. The results of the eligibility by the validator show that the magazine media is valid or suitable for use as a learning medium in class X MIPA SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak with an average CVR value of 0.99 with a very high validity level of 3.6. The results of student responses to the media of invertebrate biology magazines were 83.75% with a very strong category on the response criteria, and 82.64% on the reaction criteria with a very strong category, it can be concluded that the magazine learning media was declared valid with a student response of 82.92% and categorized as very strong

Conducted this research with the aimed of identify the effect of cooperative learning model type Talking Stick on the learning outcome of class X students animalia material MAS Al Jihad Pontianak City. Quasi experimental form of research and nonequivalent control group design. Saturated sampling is a technique applied in research, where class X B is chosen as the experimental class and class X C is chosen as the control class. The instrument used the multiple choice test 20 questions. With average experimental class learning outcome of 16.6 and a control class of 15.29. Obtained test result Mann Whitney Ucoun = 87.5 < Utable = 115, the conclusion there is the influence of experimental class students learning result applied cooperative learning model type Talking Stick with a value of effect size 0.88 classified high. This study aims to determine the feasibility of learning media Biocard and species diversity of ferns (Pteridophyta) in the natural tourism area of Riam Merasap Bengkayang. This research comprised two stages. The first stage is observing the diversity of ferns in the natural tourism area of Riam Merasap Bengkayang and the second stage is developing media Biocard based on the results of the observations. The form of this research is quantitative with a descriptive method. Samples were taken using a purposive sampling technique with multiple plot methods. The findings showed that there were 11 species of ferns found in a closed area (canopy) and 6 species in an open area. Of the two location conditions, the highest Importance Value Index (INP) is in the open area. The highest INP value in open areas is 59.790% on Nephrolepis hirsutula (Frost.) Pr, species, and the lowest INP is 6.809% on Lygodium circinatum (Burm.f.) Sw. The highest INP in the covered area is 45.465% on Stenochlaena palustris (Burm.) Bedd. species and the lowest INP is 1.460% on the Pitrogramma calomelanos, Drymoglossum piloselloides (Linn.) species, and the Diplazium eculentum (Retz.) Sw species. The media was validated by five validatory with a CVI value of 0.96 and thus Biocard is not suitable for use as a learning media.

This study aimed to determine the feasibility of handout of submaterial structure and function of plant tissue with additional information about the stomatal distribution and transpiration rate used as teaching material. The research method used a descriptive. The validation was conductive by 5 validators and the validator was divided into two, namely the instrument validator and the handout teaching material validator. The instrument validator consisted of 2 Biology Education lecturers at FKIP UNTAN and 1 high school biology teacher in senior high school grade XI pontianak. The handout teaching material validator consisted of 2 Biology Education lecturers at FKIP UNTAN and 3 biology teachers senior high school grade XI pontianak using the 2013 curriculum and school accreditation A. The assessment used 5 aspects and 10 criteria. The results of handout validation of structure and function of plant tissue submaterial in senior high school grade XI of teaching materials with additional information based on the stomatal distribution and the transpiration rate in six monocot plants obtained an average CVR and CVI results 0.99 categorized valid and feasible to be used in the learning process. However, further research was needed on the effectiveness of learning outcomes used handout teaching materials in the learning process.

This study purpose to determine the effect of the SAVI (Somatic Auditory Visualization Intellectualy) learning model assisted by flipchart media on the learning outcomes of stundents in the concept of biodiversity concept in class X SMA PGRI 1 Pontianak. The from of research used was quasy experimental design with a nonequivalent control group design. The research sample consisted ot two classes, namely class xa as an experimental class and class xb as acontrol class, the technique used in sampling is technique. The instrument used was a multiple choice with 20 items. The average score of the experimental class learning outcomes 14,21 while the control class 12,83. U-Mann Whitney test result abtained that Zcount (-2,47) < -Ztable (-1,96) these result indicate there are differences in learning outcomes of students who are taught with the SAVI learning model assisted by flipchart media and who are taught using conventional models. Through the calculation of the effect size, the SAVI learning model assisted by flipchart media has an effect of 25,17% on the learning outcomes of grade X stundest of SMA PGRI 1 Pontianak.

This study aims to determine the effect of the Make A Match cooperative model and the Media Flipbook on student learning outcomes in the Class VII students of Class VII SMP Negeri 3 Pontianak material. The form of research was quasi-experimental with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The research sample was class VII B (experimental class) and class VII C (control class), with the intact group sampling technique. The instrument used was a multiple choice test of 20 questions. The average score of the experimental class students 'learning outcomes was 16.89, while the average score of the control class students' learning outcomes was 15.93. Based on the results of the Mann-Whitney U test, the p value (asymp sig 2 tailed) was obtained 0.034 <0.05, where there was a difference between the learning outcomes of students who were given learning using the Make A Match cooperative model and the Media Flipbook with students who were given learning using the model. conventional learning assisted by image media. Based on the Effect Size, the Make A Match cooperative learning type and the Media Flipbook gave a value of 0.74 in the medium category and contributed 26.42% in improving the learning outcomes of class VII students of SMP Negeri 3 Pontianak on the Classification of Living Things.

Helicobacter pylori is a human-infected bacteria that cause serious problems such as peptic ulcer disease and gastric cancer. Several indigenous tribes, such as those in Papua, Batak, and Bugis, have a high prevalence of H. pylori and a high risk. This study aims to analyze the risk of infection with H. pylori bacteria, management, and treatment in the Baduy tribe in Lebak Regency, Banten Province. This research was conducted using a literature study, and the results showed that the Badut tribe had a risk of infection with H. pylori bacteria. However, the treatment process for patients is minimal because there is no early detection of people infected with H. pylori. In addition, the medicines used are derived from medicinal plants based on the Baduy’s traditional knowledge. Thus, there are many limitations to detecting and treating Baduy people infected with H. pylori bacteria.

This study aims to analyze the risk of infection with H. pylori bacteria, management, and treatment in the Baduy tribe in Lebak Regency, Banten Province. This research was conducted using a literature study, and the results showed that the Badut tribe had a risk of infection with H. pylori bacteria. However, the treatment process for patients is minimal because there is no early detection of people infected with H. pylori. In addition, the medicines used are derived from medicinal plants based on the Baduy’s traditional knowledge.
