This article criticized the decision of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia (Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Republik Indonesia-DPR RI) to amend several articles regarding Aceh's autonomy authorities. The DPR RI should consult the norms of Aceh's autonomy to Aceh's Parliament. Unfortunately, the DPR RI tended to consult and involve Aceh's Parliament before making decisions. Most of the decisions regarding Aceh's autonomy had been decided by the DPR RI, creating a potential conflict of regulation in the year to come and distrust between central and provincial governments. This article used a qualitative method with the black letter law approach concerning some regulations as the primary data. The author claimed that the central government had ignored the principle of checks and balances between the central dan provincial governments and also broke the principle of consultation as stated in Law Number 11 of 2006 concerning the Aceh Government.

This study describes the problems delegating authority from the district government to the village government. The implementation of Law Number 6 in 2014 concerning villages still has shortcomings in its implementation. It is due to a lack of understanding and socialization among stakeholders who run the government in the village. This study used a qualitative approach where respondents were stakeholders in the Gampong Lamteh village, Banda Aceh. The population of this study was the village apparatus and public figures of the Lamteh Village. Thus, the total sample of this study was ten people. Data collection used observation techniques, interviews, and document analysis. The analysis of data employed the triangulation method. The study results indicated that the implementation of Law Number 6 in 2014 concerning villages are not optimal yet, where the authorities still provide a lack of socialization. There is a need for socialization to improve the stakeholders' understanding regarding authority and its restriction when performing the administration in the village.

Developing a digital puzzle game model is a learning innovation for early childhood cognitive development. The current research purpose was to develop a digital games puzzle based on Banten culture for early childhood; The method applied was the research and development of ADDIE's model with the 30 children as samples. The results revealed five puzzle game objects and levels 1-3. The weakness of this puzzle game was that there was no animation, while the advantages of this puzzle game were that it was easy to be used by children; it could be used via Android and laptops, the game menus were easy to understand, it has attractive design and game background, and it was provided with game tutorials. The material expert test results were 88%, which was very feasible; the media expert test results were 85%, which was also very feasible; and the field test results were 97%, excellent. This research concluded that the data processing using paired t-tests obtained a sig value of 0.000, less than 0.05 (0.000 <0.05). Then it could be obtained the decision to reject Ho. It means that there were differences in children learning outcomes before and after using puzzle games.

The current developments in Information Technology (IT) should not only be utilized by the public and the private sectors but also by all parties effectively. The government must also be able to take advantage of these advances in many ways, such as in providing government services. The role of IT in managing government has now become an essential part of the society. This study examines the people's expectations in Melikan Village and focuses on using IT advances to create an independent village. The author then draws upon SDG theories to delineate the service transformation process. It is a qualitative study consisting of primary and secondary data. The data collection techniques used in this study include in-depth interviews, FGD, observations, and document analysis. The findings show that IT has become a vital need for the people in Melikan, but the village government fails to meet those expectations. The study suggests that the local government needs technological innovation to develop Melikan Village and add more personnel to help with government services.

This study described the religious attitudes influenced by the Jawi Script upon people living in the Seulimeum Subdistrict of Aceh Besar District, Indonesia. The data for this qualitative study were gathered through interviews and observations that included three activities: behavioral observation, direct questioning, and direct disclosure. A checklist and field notes accompanied observations, while direct questioning and direct disclosure involved unstructured interviews with eight respondents. The data was then qualitatively analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques. The study's findings suggested that the Jawi script instructional process had influenced respondents’ religious attitudes toward aqidah, ibadah, morals, and social society. In the field of aqidah, Jawi script instructional process strengthened the aqidah that adheres to the creed of Ahlusunnah wal Jama’ah. They also rejected another aqidah, armed with knowledge from the Jawi Script. Religious attitudes also were reflected in ibadah activities under the knowledge learned from the Shafi'i school of thought's Jawi Script. Regarding morals and social society, Jawi script instructional process strengthened husband-wife relationships, strengthened social traditions with Islamic nuances, and fostered social unity.

The 2022 Merdeka curriculum for primary schools is a policy of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia for implementation for the 2022–2023 school year. This policy analysis aimed to thoroughly criticize the policy aspects of the 2022 Merdeka primary school curriculum for obtaining a prescription for the future. The method of policy analysis in the form of narrative discussion was used to obtain adequate prescriptive results. The results obtained from this policy analysis showed that changes in the Merdeka curriculum in 2022 for primary schools would be incremental. Changing the curriculum followed the innovation process so that innovation attributes were met. The 2022 Merdeka curriculum for primary schools was to restore the regressed learning quality and prepare for the golden generation of 2045. The Character Education Strengthening Program and the Pancasila Student Profile Program demonstrate that ethics education is critical to the golden generation's success.

Phonological awareness has been claimed as one of the significant factors in learning to read. This paper reported our research on students' phonological awareness in EFL classrooms. We wanted to examine whether the phonological awareness tasks correlate with reading accuracy. Firstly, we analyzed their phonological awareness in the tasks of identification, substitution, addition, and deletion in English phonemes and syllables. Then, we discussed the relationship between phonological awareness and reading skills. We observed the students (N=143) of the even semesters (II, IV, VI, and VIII) at the English Education Department (Academic Year 2021/2022), Universitas Bandar Lampung, Indonesia. From the complete task of knowing students' phonological awareness that has been carried out, there was an increase in the average score from Semester II to Semester VIII students. The highest mean score was found in the student's test scores of Semester VIII (91.2; SD 6.3) and the lowest for Semester II students (62.5; SD 11.4). To test whether the phonological awareness tasks correlated with reading accuracy, the Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient (r) was calculated, and the results showed that the reading accuracy had a positive correlation either for the phoneme (r = 0.472) and syllable (r = 0.534) tasks and the correlation was significant (p < .01).

Islamic religious education (PAI) teachers still need help in carrying out learning value that is integrated into learning at school or madrasah. However, implementing the 2013 curriculum emphasizes the importance of value integration in learning, including the values of religious moderation, which can strengthen the value of national unity and integrity. This study presented a learning model for the value of moderation in religion in the Aqidah Akhlak subject at Madrasah Aliyah Aceh, focusing on the perspectives of students and teachers on the learning model for the value of moderation in religion which has so far been implemented and the readiness of teachers in lesson plan based on internalizing the value of religious moderation. The researchers obtained data on the perspectives of students and teachers regarding the learning model of religious moderation values taken from questionnaires and interviews. Data on religious moderation learning plans were a document review from two Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN- Public Islamic Senior High School) 2 in Aceh Tamiang Regency and Madrasah Aliyah (MA) Ulumul Qur'an in Langsa, Indonesia. The applied values learning models have not been able to facilitate students to think critically, resolve value conflicts, and internalize values in students. It has affected students' awareness of applying the values of religious moderation in their lives. The learning plan and design of the religious moderation values in Madrasah Aliyah have not met the standards. Therefore, it remains a big task for educators to strive for better quality values education in formal education, especially in Madrasah Aliyah.

This article analyzes the factors that have contributed to developing teachers' roles as agents of change in Riau in the 20th century. Teachers have played a strategic role in the past and have become an essential group in social and political life. Using the Historical Method and the prosopography approach, 25 biographies of Riau Province figures and the results of interviews with four informants were collected, evaluated, and analyzed. The research findings indicated that the role of teachers in Riau in the 20th century was crucial, and teachers were a productive group that gained trust, recognition, and respect during various periods of struggle in Indonesia. Teachers were able to maximize their role as agents of change due to the following factors: (1) their presence had become an integral part of the cultural and historical journey of Riau society; (2) teachers succeeded in developing their social competence, and their social role became ingrained in the collective memory of society; (3) teachers were intellectual elites with better family backgrounds, education, and experience than the general population; and (4) the dedication, altruistic attitude, and willingness of teachers were reflected in their personalities.

In this study, the effect of teaching the subject of proteins with an interdisciplinary approach on students' cognitive structures was investigated. For this purpose, it was examined whether a course taught with an interdisciplinary approach effectively develops different perspectives and establishes relationships between concepts belonging to different disciplines. The study group in this research, which used a quasi-experimental design, was composed of 28 high school students (14 of whom were assigned to the experimental group and 14 to the control group). The subject of proteins was taught to the control group in a disciplinary approach while to the experimental group in an interdisciplinary approach. The effects of the approaches on students' cognitive structures were determined using a word association test. The answers obtained from the word association test were analyzed by qualitative content analysis. As a result of the analysis, models were created that show the change in the student's cognitive structures. As a result of the research, it was observed that the interdisciplinary approach increased the students' ability to think in the framework of different disciplines.
