Resource integration is the principal source of competitiveness for the mid-small enterprises cluster and enterprises. In order to evaluate resource integration capability of mid-small enterprises cluster, the meaning of resource integration capability of mid-small enterprises cluster is presented from the two levels of strategic thinking and tactical choice in this paper, and the evaluation index system which affected the resource integration capability of mid-small enterprises cluster is studied from the breadth, depth, speed and openness. The results provide an important theoretical basis for further quantitative research.

This paper extends the model of [Eur. J. Oper. Res. 116 (2) (1999) 305] that, optimizes pricing and lead time decisions for MTO firms with contingent orders under service level constraints. The respond function was modified to be of more practical by introducing the average service level to express the effect of delivery reliance on customers' decision. We describe a simple enumerative procedure to determine optimal quotations, then compare the results between under service level constraints or not. Our simple numerical examples show that, on the consideration of service level, our proposed method can increase the total long-term expected marginal revenue. We derive a number of managerial insights based on the analysis of the influence of service level requirement on optimal bidding quotation.

The hot compression experiments of roller steel Cr5 were carried out on Gleeble-3500 thermo-simulation machine to research on the effect of deformation on grain size distribution. And finite element models of compression processes were built to acquire the strain distributions in the deformed samples. The microstructures observed by metalloscope show that fine grain sizes were obtained in central regions of the samples due to recrystallization. But coarse grain occurred in the critical strain zones determined by FE simulation. The results prove that FE method can be used to predict the location of coarse grain due to critical deformation of steel Cr5. So, the procedures of rolling circle for large shaft-parts with flat anvil were made and the corresponding FE models of rolling circle processes were established. The FE simulation results indicate that the technology of rolling circle with flat anvil can avoid generating coarse grain caused by critical deformation.

In this paper, we consider the freight booking control problem for the rail container carrier. The problem is formulated as a stochastic optimization problem to set freight booking limits for maximizing the total revenue generated by all accepted bookings. We derive the fluid limit of the problem under the optimal booking control policy.

In manufacturing, Numerical Control (NC) was a revolutionary innovation while the development and application of Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) has boosted manufacturing greatly. However, there have been "walls" between CAD/CAM and the workpiece processing on the shop floor. Fortunately, thanks to the international collaborative research projects, we now have the "Standard for the Exchange of Product model data ", known as "STEP", which are industrial automation systems and integration product data representation and exchange. These systems are able to describe product data covering the entire lifecycle of a product, independent from any particular system. This description is of such nature as it is not only fit for neutral file exchange but also serves as a basis for executing and sharing product databases and archiving.

The mechanism brought by NAT deserves our attention in IPv6. NAT66, IPv6-to-IPv6 Network Address Translation, provides a new mapping mechanism to design a NAT in IPv6 and aims to avoid as many of the issues associated with NAT as possible. This paper introduces the design and implementation of NAT66 and also discusses the multi-homing solutions in NAT66 environment. As the solutions of HIP and RFC 3484 don't work with NAT66 devices and there is no existing ILNP demo, in this paper we specialize in the implementation of ILNP on solving multi-homing problems in NAT66 environment.

On the basis of comprehensive analysis of the lead-time (LT) of supply chain(SC) and the research of the interrelated cost, with setting related assumptions, the mode of lead-time reduction and related costs that faces the two-echelon supply chain composed of manufactures and suppliers is established. Finally, it is concluded that the total cost in the two-echelon supply chain is the convex function of the lead time. Besides, the total cost will be obtained at each interval end point. Through the concrete cases, after clashing the lead-time, the manufacturer's cost will decrease, while the supplier's cost will increase. What's more, the range of decreasing cost is greater than that of the increasing cost. Therefore, transferred payment is needed to properly compensate the supplier.

Depend on circumstance more complex and changeable, the traditional control chart no longer meets the need of a more and more industrializing and complicated application environment. Therefore, this thesis is to analyze the shortage of traditional process control, and then propose dynamic quality control of multi-variety and small batch manufacturing based on Bayesian Monitor, which is come up with by Bianca. A case of a Chinese electronic chip manufacturer is studied with Bayesian Monitor, which together with the method studied is proved practical and of help to the quality control.

A software project risk identification process based on Genetic Algorithms (GA) is presented in this paper. The risk identification process utilizes GA to search the rules of risk identification based on historical data in software project in order to identify the risks in the process of software project development. The application process of GA in risk identification is analyzed in the paper. Finally, the validity of risk identification process is proved using an example.

This paper introduces the multi-product multi-stage production system's characteristics and the basic application of the witness, and then takes a precision instrument manufacturer as an example to detail the simulation process of a multi-product multi-stage production system. Through analyzing the results of the model to identify the bottlenecks of production system and the causes of the problems, then put forward some measures to ease the production problems, and by setting the model parameters to improve the multi-product multi-stage production system, so as to minimize the inventory of products; to ensure the delivery time, to improve production benefits.
