This paper investigates the interrelationship between energy consumption and economic growth in multivariate frameworks through including variables of energy intensity, GDP growth, and industry share. We use the theory of Adaptive-Network-Based Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) to reveal the mechanism that the three variables exert the influence on the energy consumption. By training and simulating the data samples spans the period 1954-2004, an Adaptive-Network-Based Fuzzy Inference Model which indicates the relationship between the energy consumption and the three variables is obtained. Furthermore, we predict the energy consumption of 2005 and 2006 using the ANFIS, and the forecast results are precise to the real energy consumption. At last, the energy conservation policies are discussed in this paper.

This paper aims to investigate the global robust synchronization problem for two coupled neural networks with both discrete and distributed time-varying delays via output coupling. A general and novel time-varying delayed feedback scheme is introduced to model a more realistic controller. By employing the Lyapunov stability theory, several new and less restrictive criterions are obtained to guarantee that the two coupled chaotic neural networks can achieve synchronization. In addition, each adapted parameter in the connection weights can be identified through the theoretical results. Numerical simulations are given to validate the usefulness of the proposed global synchronization conditions.

One kind of variable reactor is proposed. It consists of variable reactance converter and electronic power inverter. The topology and the impedance conversion mechanism of variable reactor are illustrated. And the variable reactor is simulated using Matlab/Simulink. The simulation results prove that the impedance of variable reactor can be adjustable smoothly and its higher harmonic content is small. The soft starter is made using the variable reactor. The soft starter's actual effects of running show that the starter can start motor continuously and smoothly and it has good performance.

According to the traditional p-q theory had many problems, the improved p-q method is studied in this paper. The distorted voltage is transformed to ideal voltage through the space vector. Harmonic suppression and reactive power compensation are finished under the distorted voltage by use of three-phase four-wire four-leg active filter. Comparing to the traditional p-q theory, the simulation results show this method is effective.

Based on Linux, the focus on this paper is how to realize long-distance and short-distance duplex control mode of robot system. The communications system is made of two parts: terminal of embedded Linux system and robot system. Using the technology of GSM/GPPS expander board and Qt/embedded software, through GPRS network and serial communication separately, realizing long-distance or short-distance duplex control mode of robot system. Finally makes long-distance or short-distance control robot go head, go back and move along the four axes machine-arm.

Since the advent of the robots, they are widely applied in many areas of industry all over the world. With the advancement of the robot, many new research theories and technologies are developed on it. The single one impacted much more quickly and significantly is the application of computer offline simulation technology nowadays. Based on some relevant theories of robot, this paper takes the approach of computer simulation toward the offline research for the industrial robot rather than the traditional teaching demonstration method. It built a 3-D model for a kind of Panasonic 6-DOF welding robot in SolidWorks, and imported it into ADAMS to simulate the motion further with the simulation results of expected processing trajectory planning for the six links by using MATLAB. The kinematics simulation produced the processing motion course and relevant kinematics curves. Its results indicate that the manipulator could implement the welding process according to the expected trajectory successfully and the total welding motion process and the poses of the robot just in time could be observed intuitively and dynamically. Also, this simulation lays a foundation for other virtual offline kinematics researches on robot by using relevant computer softwares without the actual robot.

By analyzing threatens faced by the secure chip nowadays, we point out several disadvantages existing in current commonly adopted settle means, and present a system architecture scheme of the secure chip based on the trusted computing theory. This scheme, which can satisfy the requests of code downloaded by the user himself and multi-cryptographic function services, not only possesses security attributions of a normal secure chip, but also provides the stronger security protection for itself.

Ant colony algorithm (ACA) has been applied on structure learning for Bayesian Network since it is accurate to solve optimization problem, but its speed is slow at initiation phase. This paper proposes an ACA based structure learning approach improved by genetic algorithm (GA), which is fast in initiation phase. Let GA learn the structure of Bayesian Network from training data quickly, and then take the rough outcome produced by GA to initiate ACA in both pheromone matrix and states of ants, finally the structure is worked out accurately .Through a series of tests, this approach is proved to be accurate and fast compared to traditional ways.

It is a multi-objective optimization problem to autogenerate a test paper from test bank. In this paper an autogenerating test paper method based on latent semantic analysis and genetic algorithm is proposed. Firstly the relationships of keywords among test items in a test bank are analyzed with LSA, and the weights of the test items are calculated. Then using the Genetic Algorithm to compose the test paper accorded to the weights. The proposed method can effectively select test items from Chinese test bank to compose a test paper.
