Aiming at requirement of measuring the microdrill put forward by the domestic enterprise, thorough investigation for the previous measurement methods of the microdrill is carried on in this paper. On the basis of it, the CCD-aperture diffraction method of measuring the microdrill diameter is proposed, and the corresponding automatic measurement system is designed. The research can establish some theoretical foundation for the design of the instrument for measuring microdrill diameter in future.

In order to improve the precision and reliability of prediction of deformation monitoring data, radial basis function artificial neural network is used in deformation monitoring data processing. The prediction result of this method is compared with the prediction result of BP neural network prediction methods, and it is concluded that through the radial basis function artificial neural network better prediction result can be obtained.

The removal of phosphorus from domestic wastewater in a membrane bioreactor with external recycle anaerobic process of sludge was investigated. More than 85% of phosphorus removal efficiency could be achieved steadily with external recycle of sludge. In the anaerobic reactor, the sufficiency of phosphorus released from the phosphorus-enriched sludge was an important factor for phosphorus removal from the system. Sodium acetate as the external carbon source was much better than the real domestic wastewater for the release of phosphorus during the anaerobic process. And the release quantities of phosphorus increased with improving the dose of sodium acetate in some extent. The experimental data showed that one millimole phosphorus releasing required about 1.048mmol sodium acetate. Moreover, the recovery of phosphorus in the supernatant was also studied by batch tests. Under the conditions of [Mg2+]:[NH3-N]:[P] =2∶2∶1 and the initial phosphorus concentration of 49.0mg/L, the optimal pH value was about 9.0 considering the struvite as the dominant product. Although increasing pH value could improve the phosphorus recovery efficiency, the precipitate transformed from struvite to magnesium phosphate as the pH value above 9.0. During struvite precipitation process, increasing the concentration of NH3-N to improve struvite production was more suitable than increasing the dose of [Mg2+]. In addition, calcium ions in the domestic wastewater had competition effect on struvite precipitation.

In this paper, a virtual machining environment is built with OpenGL technique on the platform of Visual C++, and the geometric modeling and simulation are realized by C++ language. The machining simulation system and its function are proposed. According to mechanical parts characteristic, appropriate realization of modeling method of mechanical parts is designed. The research shows that the simulations are reliable to complete the virtual modeling and promptly modifying design. The method provides the theoretical foundation and reference value of practical application for structure design of mechanical parts

In response to the needs of customers and to improve the quality of the products along with rapidly changing technologies, quality evaluation of computer numerical control (CNC) machine tools is an important issue not only for manufacturers but also for customers. A multiple quality characteristics (QCs) decision model is presented in this paper to evaluate the quality of CNC machine tools by using fuzzy analytical hierarchy process (FAHP). Then, a fuzzy judgment matrix based on triangular fuzzy numbers (TFNs) is adopted to determine the relative weights of the chosen evaluation indexes. The method can take decision makers into consideration with a valuable guideline for evaluating quality. Finally, a case study is given to verify the effectiveness and practicability of the method.

The Guangfu dwellings house was a typical and basic building mode in Lingnan traditional dwellings houses, which existed widely in Lingnan various dwellings. Commonly in summer its indoor thermal environment was not very good because the indoor air was highly darkishily and almost no wind. In order to know the indoor comfort became better or not in days when the air became dryer, this paper measured the physical environment of Guangfu dwellings such as temperature, humidity, wind speed and thermal comfort under the climate conditions. The results showed that every index of the indoor thermal environment was good, temperature changed slightly; the humidity was low and wind velocity was still weak because the houses were few windows, so the dooryard played an important role in air exchanging; as to the PMV value, people could achieve individual comfort sensation with on or off clothing.

Based on the Lagrangian equations of first type, the coordinate system is constructed according to the mechanical characteristics of Hexa Parallel Robot. The generalized coordinates are composed of six actuated independent coordinates plus redundant coordinates denoting the position and three Euler angles of active platform. After formulating the Lagrangian function, combining the constraint equations, the dynamics model of Hexa Parallel Robot is established.

“Parking problem” has become a widespread problem of large or medium cities at home and abroad, especially in urban mixed land use. There are some certain limitations of the commonly used method of calculating parking demand in accordance with the indicators of signal blocks, ?for it may overly estimate the parking demand of mixed land use. On the basis of parking demand indicators of a single block, this paper focuses on the mechanism of shared parking in mixed land use, analyzes factors having an affect on parking demand such as geographic condition, time variations of parking demand of each block,the relationships of activities among different blocks and others, proposes a process and method of shared parking demand analysis and calculation. Especially, quantitative calculating methods of parameters related to Shared Parking Analysis are proposed. Finally the validity of the method is verified through the calculation and analysis over an example of mixed land use in Chengdu, which indicates that the scale of allocated parking spaces to be set can be reduced in mixed land use, as well as provides a practical reference for properly determining indicators of allocated parking spaces to be set.

Thunderstorm microburst is an outburst strong wind on or near the ground, and its field characteristics are significantly different from boundary layer winds. As a kind of high intensity winds, thunderstorm microburst have caused numerous structural failures around the world. The paper studied numerical simulation of fluctuating wind for microburst using harmony superposition method. The stochastic process of fluctuating wind speed was converted to a uniformly modulated stochastic process. The harmony superposition method with introducing fast Fourier transform (FFT) technique was applied to simulate the uniformly modulated stochastic process. As a numerical example, good agreement is achieved between data from the method and full-scale data from a high intensity downburst that occurred at Andrews Air Force Base in 1983.

In this paper, Election Campaign Optimization algorithm is applied to solve the difficulty in PID control that the tuning parameters of PID controllers could not be determined well by conventional methods. Tuning PID controller parameters is a typical three variable optimization problem without constraint condition. An example is employed to test this method, It is found that the method could be find the best parameters that can bring on a optimal control performance, the simulation results is better than that in involved reference. This indicates that the tuning method is feasible.
