Electric Field Analysis of Complex Electrode System for Use in Electrical Measurements 电测量用复杂电极系统的电场分析

For effective use in electrical measurements, such as electroluminescence, capacitance and conduction current the dimensions of the electrode system are optimized and subsequently field values at key points in an axi-symmetric electrode system are simulated as a function of clearances between low voltage and guard electrodes. Since the electrode system is axi-symmetric, electric field distribution around the circular corners has been analyzed with the help of two-dimensional BEM solver. The configurations simulated, results, analyses and configurations for an optimal design are presented. These results are useful in the design of planar junctions with better breakdown characteristics and optimal utilization.

Dissipation Current Waveforms Monitoring under Water Tree Deterioration Test of LDPE Sheet LDPE板材水树劣化试验下耗散电流波形监测

The dissipation current waveform observation method is considered one of possible way as a diagnostic method for the un-bridged water tree on the high-voltage class power cable. In this paper, in order to clarify the time variations with the un-bridged water tree growth, by using the special chamber and setup, the dissipation current waveforms monitoring under the high voltage application test of LDPE sheet with soaking the sample into the saline solution was carried out at the applied frequency 1 kHz and applied voltage 2 kVrms for 300 hours. As the results of the high voltage application test, it was confirmed that the electric field dependence of the phase of 3rd harmonic of dissipation current strongly related with the deterioration rate of un-bridged water tree.

Partial Discharge Characteristics for Small Gap of Electrode/Epoxy Interface in SF6 Gas SF6气体中电极/环氧界面小间隙局部放电特性

To achieve a safe operation of gas insulated switchgears (GISs), the reliability of electrical insulation is one of the fundamental importance. For this respect, there is an urgent need for better understanding of partial discharge (PD) mechanisms at different locations in GIS. In the current work, the PD inception characteristics at electrode/epoxy interface at insulating spacer in GIS, which represents one of the most critical defects in GIS, are obtained and investigated with different gap lengths, 50~500 mum. Partial discharge inception voltage (PDIV) and electric field (PDIE) are measured and analyzed regarding PD inception mechanism in SF6 gas. Also the dependence of PDIV on repetitive number of PD pulses is obtained and discussed from the viewpoint of accumulated charge on the epoxy surface.

Signal processing tools for evaluation of Partial Discharge Measurement Data of Power Cables 电力电缆局部放电测量数据评定的信号处理工具

Due to growing and aging power cable grids, there is a rising need for partial discharge (PD) measurement techniques to identify incorrect installed or damaged cable joints or cavities in paper-insulated lead-covered (PILC) cable. While cable manufacturer or high voltage laboratories are able to measure in shielded environments, where noise levels are insignificant, PD detection and location at power cable lines on-the-field are hampered variously by different interferences and noise. The time domain reflectometry (TDR) is a standard technique for the location of PD in power cables. There, pulses traveling along a cable and their reflections are observed. For offline power cable PD measurement methods, where cables under test are disconnected from service, it is essential to determine the delay time between direct and reflected PD pulse to estimate the ignition point (PD site). With the help of algorithms for arrival time estimation, like peak or onset detection, it is possible to gather such delay times in an automated way, assuming a good signal-to-noise-ratio and a sufficiently high sampling frequency. To get rid of noise, modern de-noising techniques, like the wavelet transform, can be used. The Paper is presenting and comparing enhanced signal processing tools for arrival time estimation and de-noising concerning location accuracy, noise sensitivity and robustness for automated cable PD location software.

Accelerated Ageing Test of Non-Ceramic Insulation 非陶瓷绝缘加速老化试验

The paper presents the evaluation on accelerated ageing of non-ceramic insulation used at outdoor substations. The insulation was evaluated inside a salt fog chamber by applying cycles of salt fog, clean fog, drying, UV radiation and constant voltage. The insulation of two polymeric housed surge arresters and two polymeric bushings was evaluated. An arrester and a bushing were polluted with kaolin during all the evaluation. The insulation was subjected to over 5000 hours of ageing. Every 2500 hours, the insulation performance was evaluated by the leakage current, corona and electric field techniques. During the evaluation, evidence of tracking, erosion or puncture was observed on the insulation. These results show that this accelerated ageing test can be considered as a useful design test, in order to demonstrate deficiencies of bushing and surge arrester material and design.

Ozone generation using negative wire-to-cylinder corona discharge: the influence of anode composition and radius 负电晕放电产生臭氧:阳极成分和半径的影响

Ozone generation by negative corona discharge has been investigated using a coaxial wire-cylinder electrode system, and the effect of the composition of the anode (the cylinder) and its radius has been analyzed. Specifically, three different radii (0.65, 0.85 and 1.1 cm) and two different materials (stainless steel and aluminium) have been used for the anode. Ozone concentration was measured using a UV spectrophotometer, both during the electrical discharge and after its extinction. The experimental measurements are complemented with the numerical simulation of the problem using a drift-diffusion model that includes ozone decomposition on the anode and the effect of Joule heating.

Thermogravimetric and Spectroscopy Analyses of Silicone Nanocomposites 硅纳米复合材料的热重和光谱分析

In this research, nanofillers, such as nano fumed silica, nano natural silica and nano alumina, are used to reinforce silicone rubber. The thermal degradation of the nanofilled samples are analyzed through thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA). TGA confirms that nano fumed silica imparts better heat resistance to silicone than nano natural silica or nano-alumina filler when dispersed with Tritontrade. Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy is used to elucidate the mechanism by which the nanofillers improve the heat and erosion resistance of silicone composites. FTIR analysis indicates a significantly higher concentration of silanol groups in the nano fumed silica filled samples than in the micro-silica filled samples. The influence of the increased number of silanol groups on the erosion resistance of the nanocomposites is discussed.

An investigation of aging characteristics of polymer housed distribution surge arresters by accelerated aging test 用加速老化试验研究聚合物外壳分布避雷器的老化特性

The purpose of this paper is to verify the aging characteristics of domestic polymer housed distribution surge arresters. In this study accelerated aging test equipment was developed to simulate field condition of the distribution polymer housed surge arresters. Polymeric housing of distribution surge arresters should be degraded by environmental stress and the interface between housing and inner module can be affected by moisture ingress. This moisture absorption should increase leakage current and make tracking damage at the interface. Proposed aging test equipment can simulate UV, temperature, humidity, voltage, salt fog and rain and it can monitor total and resistive leakage current of arresters. In addition we carried out field exposure test at the outdoor test yard and characteristic analysis of field operated arresters. And then electrical performance of arresters, insulation condition of housing material and surface condition of the housing were compared.

The Study on Fabrication of Insulated Membrane by Electrospinning 静电纺丝法制备绝缘膜的研究

The poly (vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF)/ N, N-dimethylformamide (DMF) solution was taken for example to fabricate insulated membrane by electrospinning in this paper,. It was found experimentally that in the process of electrospinning, the area of membrane collected was bigger and bigger and the fiber diameter was increasing from the bottom to the surface, but the fiber diameter of every layer was uniform. The reason was analyzed in this paper, and it was considered that in the electrospinning process, the positive charges accumulated on the insulated membrane changed the electric field distribution. As a result, the area increased and the weakened electric field intensity increased the fiber diameter.
以聚偏氟乙烯(PVDF)/ N, N-二甲基甲酰胺(DMF)溶液为例,采用静电纺丝法制备了绝缘膜。实验发现,在静电纺丝过程中,收集的膜面积越来越大,纤维直径从底部到表面逐渐增大,但每层纤维直径是均匀的。分析了原因,认为在静电纺丝过程中,绝缘膜上积累的正电荷改变了电场分布。电场强度减弱后,纤维直径增大,面积增大。

Effect of Dispersion on PD Pulse Propagation in Shielded Power Cable 色散对PD脉冲在屏蔽电缆中传播的影响

High frequency attenuation and dispersion affect partial discharge detection and location in shielded power cables. The effect of high frequency attenuation is well understood through both measurement and computation, which cannot be said of dispersion. The electromagnetic propagation velocity as a function of frequency in concentric neural distribution cable has been computed from measured material properties, from which the dispersion deduced. The computed dispersion is in reasonable agreement measurements in the literature. The effect of dispersion on PD pulse propagation has been evaluated, including coupling between dispersion and high frequency attenuation, which are both functions of the same material parameters. The analysis indicates that dispersion causes a Gaussian PD pulse (at the source) to evolve into an asymmetric shape with faster rise than fall. The difference in pulse peak time of arrival with and without dispersion has been computed numerically, and a simple analytical basis for predicting this offset has been developed.
