Low-power technology has been a concern in the IoT (Internet of Things). A method of optimizing ADR (Adaptive Data rate) through MFSK (Multiple frequency shift keying) selections is proposed in this paper to save more wireless communication time and transmission power. The proposed method is implemented on the Texas Instruments Sub-1GHz RF (radio frequency) device, CC1310 platform, and the wireless transmission quality and power consumption could be balanced by appropriate M-parameter adjustment. The experimental results in this paper show that the ADR algorithm with MFSK optimization may save more 50% power than traditional ADR when higher M-parameter in a good environment.

Industry 4.0 is creating a new environment for modern students characterized by competition, multitasking, flexibility skills and etc. However in this race for competitive students and professionals it is important to pay attention to the development of emotional factor and use it in learning and teaching. These approaches facilitate the efficiency of learning outcomes as well as development of a harmonic personality with adequate values. In this paper we consider the emotional factor in teaching languages to future engineers. One of the priority tasks of a linguistic study at an engineering higher education institution is the study of a foreign language as a means of the world cultural values interiorization and of a cultures dialogue that is of great importance for Russian higher education in training engineering specialists capable of looking around optimally in changing socio-cultural circumstances and realizing their creative potential in their personal and professional activities. Nowadays education faces not only the problem of knowledge and skills obtaining, but also the experience of an emotion-axiological attitude towards the world. The purpose of this paper is to investigate and apply the methods that contribute to the students' acculturation optimal level creating an emotional background in a foreign language class. Linguia socio cultural approach to foreign language training (V.V. Safonova, S.G. Ter-Minasova, V.P. Furmanova); psychological and pedagogical bases of the games and music in education (A.V. Passov); neuropsychological studies in pedagogics (S. Blake, S. Peip, M.A. Choshanov, A.E. Polskaya) form the theoretical and methodological basis of the work. Emotional background creating has a significant effect on memorizing, storing and reproducing information, thus the positive emotions availability, a friendly attitude towards everyone, and learning without tension are necessary for foreign language training. To achieve this goal, the musical and artistic component is able to bring dynamics to the process of the language learning and strengthen its cultural aspect, taking into account the principles of optimization, artistry and problematics (G. 工业4.0正在为现代学生创造一个以竞争、多任务处理、灵活技能等为特征的新环境。 Safonova, S.G. Ter-Minasova, V.P. Furmanova);游戏和音乐在教育中的心理和教学基础(A.V. Kalagastova, E.P. Karpichenkova, yunn)。库柳特金,p.i.p idkasisty);外语交际教学理论与方法论研究(N.D. Galskova、G.A. Kitaygorodskaya、E.I. This research involves the study of different concrete mixes contained waste glass powder as cement replacement, then it was compared to control mixes. Waste glass powder was used as replacement percentages of cement weight (10, 15, 20 and 25%). The laboratory program consisted of fifty-four cubes have 100×100×100mm to test the compressive strength of concrete specimens at 28, 56 and 90 days, and nine cylinders have dimensions (300×100mm) to test stress-stain of concrete at 28 days. All specimens that contained waste glass powder showed good strength compared with reference mixes besides satisfactory performance. From experimental results, the use of 15% WGP is best level among other percentages at 28, 56 and 90 days. From stress – strain relationships and for the same load the strain is less for specimens contain glass powder, which mean a more brittle behavior

Roads have always been used as a means of facilitating the movement between cities for goods and people, taking into account the safety and comfort of travelers. The Iraq’s cities have a limited road network connecting between there, so that if the road deteriorates or reaches to failure stage, there are no alternatives will be available. Therefore, the need was arising to find a method or technique that allow prediction the road performance before it reaching the final failure stage. The techniques requirements to create accurate prediction will be varied, which requires the use of appropriate technology for the available resources. Because of the limited resources available in Iraq, this paper will try to use an easy-to-use technology and only need to conduct field surveys as input data, then its output is the future road state. In this study, a deterioration model was developed (for the Baghdad-Kut road project) using Markov chains to improve decision makers' ability to make decisions and to implement them in the annual government plan.

The aerospace industry realizes the significance of CubeSats to provide a cost-effective spacecraft to fulfill the increasing demand for space-based technologies. To guarantee a successful flight in space featuring a propulsion system, the installation of a propellant tank inside the CubeSat, should be performed first. The mathematical model describing the temperatures of the main parts of a CubeSat has been formulated in the nonlinear ODEs form. In this paper, we will employ a linearization method to regulate the temperature strictly to track the reference value. Several simulation results are presented for different heating power values, to classify the adequate heating power to stabilize the fuel tank thermal fluctuations. Moreover, the linearization control of the model is accomplished and simulated. The simulation results show accurate tracking of the reference temperature while consuming minimal power, which is essential for practical operation.

In many huge hydraulic constructions such as dam spillways, large quantities of concrete can be ruined according to the long-term action of water-borne solids. Thus, the life span of these structures can be significantly reduced while the maintenance costs can be highly increased. Accordingly, in this work, the abrasion wear loss of concrete was evaluated using a new proposed apparatus. Samples of different compressive strengths of 25, 35 and 55 MPa were prepared and tested at two various ages (7 and 28 days). Moreover, the effect of the agitation paddle angle was estimated as well. Three different angles of 30, 45 and 60° were evaluated experimentally and numerically using ANSYS software as well. The obtained results showed that at 28- day age and with 60° paddle angel, the abrasion resistance for compressive strengths of 35 and 55 MPa improves approximately by 20 and 38% as compared with that of 25 MPa, respectively. Furthermore, both of the experimental and numerical investigations showed that the maximum abrasion loss can be achieved due to the use of 60° paddle angle while the lowest can be achieved using 45°paddle angle.

As the number of electronic resources is rapidly increasing, the need for automatic classification of such resources became very crucial. In the literature, extensive text classification schemes were proposed to classify text documents into predefined categories. Even though, most studies in this problem were conducted for English texts while very little studies were conducted for the Arabic language. This paper provides a review for text classification process, particularly for Arabic documents. As well, it presents the most important techniques used in the process of documents classification. Furthermore, the current unresolved issues regarding Arabic text classification will be discussed and thus highlight the future recommendations in this context.

Nowadays robotics is a rapidly developing branch of science with robot technologies being used for various purposes. Numerous researchers attempt to determine the feasibility of integrating robotic technologies into an educational process. Social robotics is a relatively new interdisciplinary research area, the main goal of which is to develop a social robot that could demonstrate an adequate social interaction with people. This paper describes a pilot experiment of human-robot interaction during the five English classes with pre-school children aged 5-6 years with a small sized humanoid robot playing a teacher assistant role. The experiments showed a large interest of children towards the robot and positive impact on English learning.

The paper studies physical and antibacterial properties of ZnO nanoparticles obtained by pulsed laser ablation in water and ethanol. The energy used is 1000 mJ and 500 mJ for samples prepared in distilled water and ethanol and 1 Hz is installed while the temperature is 27°C and the number of pulses for both energies is 15 pulses. We have used Uv-visible spectroscopy, atomic force microscopy, the x-ray diffraction system and antibacterial activity of the nanoparticles was examined by its affection on gram- positive Staphylococcus aureus (S.aureus), gram-negative Pseudomonas and Candeda fungus. The dependence of nanoparticles’ physical and antibacterial properties on the conditions of the ablation was shown. Biochemical assays showed that the zinc recorded in distilled water and 1000 mJ and 500 mJ was fatal for all bacteria used in this study, whereas the zinc recorded in ethanol was not proven effective.

Biochemical assays showed that the zinc recorded in distilled water and 1000 mJ and 500 mJ was fatal for all bacteria used in this study, whereas the zinc recorded in ethanol was not proven effective.","PeriodicalId":6632,"journal":{"name":"2019 12th International Conference on Developments in eSystems Engineering (DeSE)","volume":"22 1","pages":"726-729"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"77235251","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
