The study of the effects of electromagnetic microwave radiation on liquid medium containing iron oxide nanoparticles is continued. A numerical simulation of distribution of electromagnetic field and magnitude of the absorbed power in the sample of the magnetic fluid in the process of irradiation is carried out. The experimental study of the interaction of microwave radiation with a heterogeneous liquid medium containing magnetic nanoparticles is carried out. The sets of emulsions containing nanoparticles of different sizes (from 20 nm to 100 nm) were prepared for the experimental works. The dependence of the thermal effects of microwaves on the size of nanoparticles contained in a heterogeneous liquid medium is investigated.

This paper presents a simulation model for the development of irreversible processes in inhomogeneous conductive films with a thickness of more than 60 microns under exposure of microwave radiation. The model considers the direct absorption of microwave power by a conductive film. Distribution of the electromagnetic field on the surface of the film and dynamics of development of thermal processes with account for the dependence of the conductivity on temperature is obtained.

Analytical relations, defining conditions for appearance of abnormally large errors in case of receiving signals from radio source with scanning antenna by a direction finder along terrestrial paths, are obtained. It is theoretically proved that it is necessary to compare the phase difference measurement at various bases of the direction finder with a certain threshold in order to detect bearings with abnormally large errors.

The hybrid metal-dielectric structure based on an inverted waveguide is investigated. The auxiliary dielectric resonators with metalized side are put into a waveguide. The basic characteristics such as VSWR versus frequency, and pattern characteristics are studied using the finite element method. The ability of a suitable level of pattern characteristics has been shown.

Synthesis of measurement algorithm of time delay, mathematical expectation and dispersion of the low-frequency random pulse with inexact known duration observed against white noise and band Gaussian interference, adapting for unknown intensities of action additive distortions is implemented. On the basis of the performed generalization of a local Markov approximation method the closed analytical expressions for conditional biases and variances of made estimates are found. By means of statistical computer modeling the functionality of the offered measurer is established and applicability borders of asymptotically exact formulas for characteristics of its operating effectiveness are determined.

Continuous complication of data processing algorithms for space and air vehicles results to special-purpose processor embedded on the different levels of board hardware. Their architectures and instructions sets are adopted for effective implementation of the most complicated computational algorithms. It is important for real-time digital signal and image processing when computer performance must perform about 1012 op/sec. These processors are intended for real-time data flow computation with large massive of signals or pixels and considered as a VLSI. Some problems of development of the functional-oriented processors with homogeneous architecture are discussed in the paper.

The results of use of STE3N MBE System for growth of GaN nanoheterostructures by both types of MBE (using plasma activation of nitrogen and ammonia) are presented. It is shown that the use of high-temperature AlN/AlGaN buffer layers grown using ammonia at extremely high temperatures (up to 1150°C) allows improving drastically the structural quality of the GaN layers and reducing the dislocation density down to 9·108-1·109 cm-2. On the other hand, unlike the ammonia MBE, which is difficult to use at T <;500°C (because of low decomposition efficiency of ammonia), PA-MBE is very effective at low temperatures, for example for growth of InAlN layers lattice-matched to GaN. The results of the growth of high quality GaN/InAlN heterostructures using both PA-MBE and NH3-MBE (at extremely high ammonia flux) are shown. The use of SemiTEq equipment in Svetlana-Rost JSC for high power microwave FETs based on GaN is demonstrated.
