The excitation device for H01 mode in a circular waveguide based on antiphased dipoles 基于反相偶极子的圆波导H01模式激励装置

The present paper describes the design of the compact excitation device for TE01 mode of the circular waveguide based on antiphased dipoles. Numerical investigation of the developed device is conducted. As a result, it was found that the device has a transfer index at the frequency of 6.2 GHz, approximately -1 dB. Ways and methods of reducing in the transformation losses and widening of the frequency band are also described.

Optimization calculations of the probe-forming systems with three, four and five lenses are carried out. It is shown that the proposed concept of additional power supply of the lenses allows improving the physical parameters of a scanning nuclear microprobe, which can be used in development of the new lithography methods, manufacturing of microwave and nanoelectronics devices.

The analysis of estimation-correlation-compensation signal processing algorithm in presence of both broadband Gaussian interferences and non-Gaussian interference is carried out. It is assumed that the processing realized by optimizing amplitude-phase distribution at the antenna array aperture, by optimizing the spatial structure of processing system, as well as by the subsequent non-linear compensation of non-Gaussian interference and by correlation processing. The analytical expression for the signal-to-noise ratio is obtained, thereby allowing making the spatial structure optimization.

Dielectric losses in diamond-like materials at the cryogenic temperatures in the millimeter waveband 类金刚石材料在毫米波低温下的介电损耗

The paper presents the study results of the temperature dependence of the dielectric loss at millimeter waves in the temperature range of 1.0 - 300 K in some low-absorbing dielectric and semiconductor materials having the diamond-like crystal lattices. It is shown that the absorption maxima at helium temperatures in materials with a centrosymmetric lattice are primary associated with both intrinsic and extrinsic losses, and in materials with a noncentrosymmetric lattice - with extrinsic losses. The relaxation times, activation energies and other parameters characterizing the Debye mechanism of extrinsic losses of the investigated materials are determined on the base of the approximation model of temperature dispersion of losses.

A modified genetic-algorithm-based approach for structural synthesis of linear and low-noise microwave amplifies using passive elements models in the form of S-parameter data sets is presented. This approach is implemented in Geneamp software tool. An example of synthesis of 1-2 GHz one- and two-stage LNAs on PCB demonstrates the efficiency of the approach.

The cross-correlation functions for five active galactic nuclei (BL Lac, 2145+067, 3C454.3, 3C84, 0528+134) and two sources in water vapor line (W3OH and ORION KL) are determined.

Classical spectral methods of assessment are among the most sustainable methods. They apply to almost all classes of signals and noise, with fixed properties. The reason of application of the parametric models of random processes is due to the possibility of receipt on the basis of these models more accurate spectral estimates than it is possible by using the classical methods of spectral estimation.

A few-element antenna array for the high-accuracy noise-protected receiver GLONASS/GPS has been developed. The antenna array is implemented based on the tri-band (L1/L2/L3) active slot stripline leaky-wave antennas with right-hand circular polarization. The root-mean-square deviation (RMSD) of the relative phase pseudo-range determination by GLONASS signals in the four-element antenna array is observed to be lower than 1 mm in the L1 band and lower than 1.3 mm in the L2 band.
