The paper presents the results of the development of algorithms for software processing of electromyogram signals. The proposed processing performs filtering of the EMG signal. Then this signal passes a threshold detector, after which the signal envelope is determined. At the last stage, the determination of the strength and duration of muscle activity occurs.

In this research the interrelation of design quality indicators and the quality of transport infrastructure objects is identified. The indicators, the relationship of which is the strongest, are determined. It is proved that the accounting of the design of a possibility of introduction of the integrated systems of quality management increases the quality of objects of transport infrastructure. It is provided that the accounting in process of the possibilities of implementation of integrated quality management systems design improves the transport objects infrastructure quality. During the interrelations analysis the process approach and a method of the system analysis, in particular technology of quality function deployment (QDP) were applied.

The article describe the key characteristics of quality control in production and technological processes of industrial management, which directly affect the efficiency of these processes, and which is the most important aspect of increasing competitiveness and the degree of satisfaction of the technical requirements of consumers and customers.It is important to note that all production processes are manageable, that is to say changing and adjustment under the influence of external factors, but it is necessary to influence the process effectively, purposefully and functionally. In this case, the maximum efficiency of the process is achieved, it makes it efficient and economically viable. It is more effective to manage business processes through the quality management of these processes, by management of production and technological processes.

The paper discusses graphical research methods of stochastic transformations. The modified methods for detecting anomalies, patterns and deviations in pseudorandom sequences are presented. The method based on filling coordinate and coordinate-free planes is described. The method based on plotting empirical frequencies distribution of zeros and ones in a researched pseudo-random sequence is described. The method based on visualization of stochastic transformation results in form of several graphs is described. Proofs of correctness of the described methods are presented. The results of PRNG research with proposed methods are presented. The recommendations to increase effectiveness of presented investigation methods are formulated.

In previous papers, we stated that splitting the lexicographic sequence into equal parts does not yield uniform workload distribution for a parallel computational system. One of the options we have considered is breaking the packing vectors space into classes based on the vectors’ Hamming weight, and then split each of the classes into equal parts. In this paper, we investigate another load balancing technique based on using the Gray codes instead of the lexicographic sequence. As only one element of the packing changes on every step, we can calculate the packing weight dynamically. Thus, the time needed to weigh a packing becomes both shorter and more uniform. We study the properties of the Gray codes and analyze their impact on the algorithm run time and efficiency of parallel computation.

p-Cresol is a metabolite which is synthesized by be intestinal bacteria in the small intestine from 4-hydroxyphenylacetate acid. During metabolism this substrate is filtered by kidneys and leaves the organism with urine. In case of chronic kidney decease p-cresol accumulates in body fluids and has to be removed by means of dialysis. To estimate p-cresol clearance and the efficiency of dialysis methods concentration of this substrate has to be measured and controlled. The possibility of p-cresol detection and elimination by means of cyclic voltammetry method was investigated. It is shown that graphite electrodes can be used for p-cresol’s detection and evaluation. p-Cresol oxidation peak was observed near potential 650 mV against saturated Ag/AgCl-electrode. Influence of p-cresol concentration on oxidation peak height was also investigated. Suggested technique can be used for dialysate regeneration efficiency control.

The article presents an assessment of the characteristics of the electric drive of the cold-pilgering mill, in which each phase of the stator motor windings is connected to an independent DC source. The evaluation was performed according to the criterion of maximum speed. A set of mathematical equations with lumped parameters of an electrical machine was adopted as a model, and a semiconductor converter was represented by an aperiodic link of the second order. A synchronous motor based on an asynchronous motor with a phase rotor was used as an electric machine. In an electric car, the stator windings of the motor were connected to a DC source. The rotor windings were connected to a frequency converter. It is shown that the speed of the control circuit of the electromagnetic torque in such a scheme does not exceed 130 rad/s. This speed is limited to the analog-to-digital converter through which the control signal from the output of the speed regulator is fed. To increase the system response speed, it is proposed to generate a control signal via a serial digital channel, for example, Ethernet. The rejection of the analog form of the control signal will significantly increase the accuracy of the electric drive system, while the expected cut-off frequency in the control circuit of the torque can reach 700-800 rad/s.
