Multiple studies have pointed out that low circulating vitamin D level is associated with poor colorectal cancer (CRC) survival. Patients of all stages of CRC were assessed for the benefit of Vitamin D supplementation on the Overall Survival through conducting multiple systematic reviews.

The problem of insecurity undermines the development of African countries where the phenomenon causes a situation of aggravating instability. It is therefore high time for the academic debate to appropriate it based on the principle that one of the missions of the university is also to participate in the well-being of communities. The secessionist movements in the Sudano-Sahelian strip took possession of weapons and ammunition abandoned in the Libyan desert to occupy an area of millions of km2 between North Africa and the entire Sahelian part of West Africa and then operated terrorist incursions into coastal countries, particularly in the Gulf of Guinea: Benin, Côte d’Ivoire and Togo. Added to this are the problems of population and land.

Insulin-like Growth Factor-1 (IGF1) is a hormone that plays a vital role in human growth and development. It regulates cell proliferation and tissue growth. Any alterations in the structure or function of IGF1 can have profound implications for various functions and diseases, including cancer and growth disorders. In this study, a comprehensive computational analysis was performed to examine the impact of single amino acid substitutions on IGF1 tertiary structure. The study involved using In Silico tools for comparing the amino acid sequences of wild-type and three variant IGF1 proteins, as well as assessing their physicochemical properties.

Proximal fracture is one the common fracture affecting people of all age groups worldwide and it is estimated that 5.7% of all the fracture of the human body are the proximal humerus fractures. It is the second most common fracture of the upper extremity. More than 85% of the humerus fractures are the proximal humerus fractures. Proximal fractures affect people of the old age due to fall and the osteoporosis or young age due to trauma.

This mini-review is about music and the plastic brain. It sketches some recent developments in music and brain studies with a shift from initial localization and morphometric studies to the study of connections and networks in the brain. A major finding is the realization that learning to play an instrument appeals to almost all higher functions of the brain. Special attention is also paid to the plastic changes that result from continuous and sustained musical engagement. These changes can be demonstrated on two scales of evolution—the phylogenetic and ontogenetic scale—, with structural and functional adaptations that manifest themselves both in the short and long term.

The mechanistic underpinnings of olfactory receptor (OR)-odorant interactions have yet to be completely understood. This stymies our understanding of how we perceive specific odors, odorants or combinations of odorants. We used computational methodologies to address OR-odorant interactions from a novel perspective-that of the odorant. In this study, odorants that elicit a hedonistic olfactory response were identified.

Thirteen class II cavities were prepared in premolars, and pressed lithium disilicate inlays were looted with 2 different preheated composite resins: nanohybrid and microhybrid; a dual-polymerized resin cement was used as the control. The cement film thickness was measured by confocal microscopy, and the quality of the bonded interface by scanning electron microscopy. Ceramic disks of preheated composite resins were used to measure the μTBS.
