Genetically modified organisms (GMOs) have sparked widespread controversy, with public apprehensions surrounding their safety and effects. This paper delves into the psychology of the human brain concerning GMOs and their impact. It highlights that while scientific research overwhelmingly supports the safety of GMO foods, public perception remains wary, driven by psychological factors. Human psychology often leads to irrational fears, misinformation, and the politicization of science, contributing to public distrust of GMOs. Understanding these psychological aspects is crucial to addressing misconceptions and fostering informed discussions. This study underscores the significance of comprehending human psychology in the context of contemporary issues like GMOs, shedding light on the complexities that shape public opinion.

The establishment of supervised injection facilities has been a journey fraught with challenges and difficulties, due to the cultural beliefs regarding harm reduction and drug users in British Columbia during the 1990s. It was evident that scientific evidence was not enough to convince authorities that supervised injection facilities would benefit drug users and the community. Cultural intervention was required to change the government’s opinion regarding this issue. For years, citizens and organizations fought for supervised injection facilities, and their efforts have contributed greatly to the establishment of these sites. This paper argues that the creation of supervised injection facilities can be attributed to the protests and actions executed by the community in British Columbia, as well as exploring the relationship between the local community and the establishment and preservation of supervised injection facilities.

The significance of forensic accounting in fraud reduction cannot be overstated, particularly in a complex financial landscape like India's banking industry. Forensic accounting serves as a crucial instrument in detecting, investigating, and preventing fraudulent activities that pose substantial threats to the integrity and stability of financial institutions. Through specialized techniques like data analysis, financial examination, and investigative methodologies, forensic accountants play a pivotal role in uncovering fraudulent schemes, tracing illicit financial transactions, and providing evidence for legal proceedings. This study delves into the critical role of forensic accounting in combating fraudulent activities within India's banking sector. With a focus on enhancing understanding and awareness, the research sets out three primary objectives. Firstly, it aims to investigate the current landscape of forensic accounting in India, exploring its methodologies, practices, and regulatory framework. Secondly, the study seeks to assess the level of awareness among bank managers regarding the efficacy of forensic accounting in reducing instances of fraud. Finally, it endeavours to analyse the relationship between the demographic profiles of bank managers—such as age, gender, and years of experience—and their awareness of forensic accounting's role in fraud reduction. Moreover, the findings of this study carry practical implications for various stakeholders, including policymakers, regulators, banking professionals, and industry participants. By gaining insights into the awareness levels of bank managers regarding forensic accounting and its efficacy in fraud reduction, policymakers and regulators can develop targeted interventions to enhance training, education, and awareness initiatives within the banking industry. The study's methodology involved interviews with 200 bank managers, allowing for a comprehensive assessment of the impact of forensic accounting on fraud reduction within India's banking industry.

Doris Lessing’s play Each his Own Wilderness presents us with the image of the ‘New Woman’. Myra and Milly are single independent women(Myra a widow and Milly a divorcee) who fight hard to find their place in the world. They have a voice and a career. Having no husbands to cater to, these women can lead a comparatively freer life and are vocal about their needs and wants. However motherhood is a bondage that they cannot free themselves of easily. Hence though husbands are absent, patriarchy is not. Through motherhood, patriarchy continues the structure in which female is kept in the service of male and hence motherhood becomes oppressive.

This research paper investigates cognitive disparities among college-going students in Ranchi Town, focusing on fluency, flexibility, and originality across various demographic categories. The study analyzes mean scores and employs t-tests to discern significant differences within the population. The findings indicate that, while there is no significant difference in fluency between boys and girls, a noteworthy distinction emerges between tribal and non-tribal college students. These results suggest the importance of tailoring educational interventions to meet the diverse needs of students based on demographic differences. However, no significant differences were observed in flexibility and originality between boys and girls or among tribal and non-tribal college-going students. The study contributes valuable insights to educational research, emphasizing the necessity for nuanced approaches to address cognitive disparities and fostering an inclusive learning environment. Further research is recommended to delve deeper into the intricate factors influencing cognitive abilities within different demographic groups.

Indian railway is the biggest public sector industry in India. The success of the industry mainly depends on the work forces. But they face a lot of problems. The employees in the Indian railway are experiencing a tremendous amount of pressure at the work place. Increased workloads, overtime, hostile work environment and shift work are just a few causes of stressful working conditions (Neethu Mohan & Athira Sivaraman,2017). In this context it is essential to study the occupational stress of railway employees. This is very important to control and take measures to reduce the stress because work stress may lead to family problems, health issues (mental health and physical health), social problems etc. The stress is consuming issue in present day society (Jecintha Sathiyavathi& Dr. M. Muthupandi (2021). Employee health is substantially affected by work, and work is affected by employees’ health as well (Aslihan & ayfer,2021). The physical working environment also gives rise to work load including noise, uncomfortable conditions of train platforms etc. Railway employees struggles to balance the job and family responsibilities. Hence the study has focused on the work stress of railway employees, factors affecting stress, effect of stress among employees and how the stress is related to age level.
