The events in "Sanskaar" by Indira Goswami take place in Pitambor's rural environment, creating a tapestry of hardships, disputes, and unexpected salvation. This journal explores the complexities of caste, gender, and cultural standards in an effort to dig into the subaltern and feminist aspects present in the story. While Pitambor struggles with his personal issues, the narrative reveals Damayanti's strength as a widow defying social norms. This diary seeks to highlight the feminist undertones that influence the characters' fates and unearth the subaltern voices inside the story through a close examination of their interactions.

With the advent of New Education Policy (NEP) 2020, India has a vision to transform its education system by shifting its attention to learner-centred approach for holistic understanding of subjects using different styles of teaching and learning like activity-based learning and teaching in one’s own mother tongue. Students use different modalities to perceive, understand and learn different subjects taught in class. Based on the modalities used (visual, auditory or tactile), students may develop visual, auditory or kinesthetic styles of learning. This study aimed to identify learning styles and preferred teaching styles of current college students between the ages 18-25. In addition, the study seeks to understand the preferred teaching style opted by students. A comparison in terms gender, and educational level were made. Through convenient sampling technique willing participants were administered Barsch Learning Styles Inventory (Barsch, J. 1980) and were asked to rank various teaching styles like visual, auditory and kinesthetic in the order of their preference. Appropriate statistics were used for data analysis. The results of the study showed that college student’s preferences for learning styles were not influenced by gender or educational level. The order of preference of students in terms of preferred teaching style was found to be visual followed by auditory followed by tactile.

Social media has become an inextricable part of our lives. There’s no denying the fact that the social media has myriad positives but this paper majorly focuses on not so greener side of the dazzling world of perfection which is limned in social media over and over again. The paper starts with a comprehensive definition of social media then goes on to reflect upon various taxing facets that come along. Social media has set unrealistic standards of fashion, beauty, appearance, food, education which gets inculcated in the minds of billions of users and then comes the mad rush to conform to those benchmarks. Social media has provided a thriving market to innumerable beauty brands. FOMO or Fear of Missing Out is another by-product of social media. A deep sense of unhappiness, anxiety, reduced productivity and lower self-esteem is often associated with it. Users may have millions of subscribers and followers but this virtual fan following donot always mirrors their offline life. Social media has uncannily conned us in believing that we have friends while in reality this is just the contrary. Besides, the spread of fake news , trolling, cyber bullying , hate speech and increasing cases of people getting duped by the fraudsters are other pitfalls of social media. It finally rests with the users how to use this double edged sword. These platforms can either be used for disseminating obscenity, hatred, or rumours else can be utilitized to the fullest for enhanced networking, fostering support and empathy and even as a learning tool.

Coming out is the process of accepting one's sexual orientation or gender identity and sharing it openly with other people. It's like a ritual for Westerners to come out after reaching puberty. When someone is ready to come out, their family, friends, and peer group support them. In some states, it is also considered a celebration. The mindset and attitude of people towards LGBTQIA are Different based on Education, Culture, attitudes of people, etc. It is a phenomenon that is necessitated by the prevalence of societal heteronormativity with the recent legal decriminalization of consensual same-sex sexual relationships in India, there is renewed interest in and emergent necessity to expand upon the existing academic discourse on the lives, rights, health, and well-being of same-sex attracted individuals in India. This article focus on the importance of coming out or self-disclosure of gender orientation of LGBTQIA in India. India is the most populated nation in the world but the acceptance of the LGBTQIA community is still a hard topic from the mindset of parents and society. The Western culture is very much impacted on the Indian community so the coming out of LGBTQIA can be more complicated for teens who depend on parents or other adults for care and well-being in India. In this paper, The author tries to indicate the impact of Western culture on gender disclosure in India.

Spent coffee grounds or coffee waste pose a growing environmental problem as it can harm the ecosystem by releasing greenhouse gases into the atmosphere during their decomposition process [1]. On the other hand, spent coffee ground extracts have been shown to contain polyphenols, trigonelline, phenolic acids, and melanoidins which show strong antibacterial activity toward Gram+ bacteria and yeast [2]. Given its activity towards Gram+ bacteria, this study seeks to find an alternative use of spent coffee grounds, aiming to mitigate their environmental impact. This research focuses on the investigation on whether arabica spent coffee grounds could be used as a natural alternative to iodine mouthwash solution, a commonly used product to kill dental plaque bacteria. Arabica coffee extract was prepared by a 24-hour cold brew procedure then spent coffee grounds extract was produced from the Arabica coffee waste. To obtain results, the antibacterial activity of both spent coffee grounds and coffee on S. mitis was analyzed using the well diffusion test and inhibition zones were measured and compared. The caffeine contents of the Arabica coffee grounds were quantified using HPLC. From our quantitative analysis, the spent arabica coffee grounds collected from the cold brew procedure consist of less caffeine, compared to that of the cold brew, but still showed antibacterial activity towards S. mitis. The inhibition zone of the spent coffee grounds was significantly lower than cold brew coffee but still comparable to iodine mouthwash solution. Our novel findings indicate that spent coffee grounds can be used as a natural antibacterial and an alternative to povidone-iodine mouthwash which leads to reduction of environmental harm from coffee waste.

Ecosystem operated by Centralized ride-sharing system, where customers have limited access to data and information. This creates a lack of transparency and makes it difficult for users to evaluate the quality of the service they receive. These operators charge a commission for their services and increases the fare heavily during peak hours. Such things operate under a set of rules and regulations, which can limit the flexibility of the service. They collect and store a significant amount of user data, including location, payment information, and personal details. Cyber attacks or identity theft by compromise the privacy of the users and make them vulnerable. As an automated peer-managed version of Ola and Uber, the proposed solution is decentralized application, that utilizes trustless smart contracts. The model eliminates middle-men and projected fare is reduced. This is revolutionary where disputes can be sorted out and moved by trust-less smart contracts with legal liability. Improved privacy, cost effectiveness and ride fairness of the proposed solutions shown by experimental results.

The RBI move of sucking out excess liquidity through OMOs clearly shows the tightening attitude to control inflationary pressures. Monetary policy got a hawkish tint as the market did not expect such a suck out policy of excess liquidity from the RBI, though the retail inflation was at 6.83 per cent in August 2023. Larger government borrowings and abundant supply of liquidity are the great concerns to RBI. The RBI's emphasis on active liquidity management was influenced by inflation risks and financial stability. Fiscal Dominance Liquidity Management Challenge and Exchange Rate Volatility are the challenges ahead. OMOs effectiveness depends on the central bank's ability to accurately time and size these operations.
