Calculations are made of the gaseous GeO valent oscillation frequency in different quantum-mechanical models. Collation with experiment is given. A correlation is found between the calculated values of r (Ge-O) relations with harmonic oscillation frequency. The parameters of the linear regression “harmonic frequency – bond length” are obtained. Calibration of the quantum-chemical methods for the calculation of GeO properties is carried out.

The problem of remote sensing of soil and vegetation cover using airborne hyperspectral cameras is considered. The modern state of development of airspace measuring instruments with high spectral resolution is analyzed. The problems and solution methods of the thematic processing of hyperspectral images are discussed. Applications of the optimal Bayesian classification for the recognition of the forest stand species are investigated. The method of the effective reduction of the dimensionality of the feature space is proposed. The classification accuracy for the selected test areas is estimated.

The purpose of this study was a comparative study of seasonal dynamics of chlorophyll potential, leaf area index and fresh biomass of different varieties of wheat based on reflectance spectra obtained by ground-based remote measurements. The study reports data on seasonal dynamics of reflectance of wheat canopies composed of various wheat cultivars in the Krasnoyarskii Krai. The study presents an optical remote method for determining chlorophyll potential, S(t), of wheat plants, which is calculated based on reflectance spectra of the crops during the growing season. Chlorophyll potential of wheat plants, S(t), may serve as an indicator of their physiological state and potential biological productivity; also, it can be used to predict grain yield of wheat fields. Different wheat cultivars have different chlorophyll potentials, S(t), during the growing season. There is high positive correlation between dry and fresh wheat biomass, and chlorophyll potential, S(t), of wheat plants. A digital database has been compiled, which contains spectral data of the wheat canopies studied.

The searching of composition gradation for complex mineral binder on base of alumina industrial waste was carried out. The strength characteristics of road mixtures and structure of binder mineral components after mixture hydration processes were investigated. Optimal road constructive compositions were determined which have maximal effective properties. Technology of subgrade building using nepheline slime, gypsum-anhydrite waste products and dust from gas treatment systems was proposed and tested in practice. Binder compositions proposed give some possibility of alumina industrial waste utilization and give raised to pavement strength factor and frost resistance increasing.
