The authors are developing a new paradigm for the synthesis of recursive digital filters with finite word length. Within the framework of this paradigm, the stage of structural synthesis does not distort the results of functional synthesis, on which zeros and poles are calculated. Zeros and poles are calculated considering the finite word length, taking into account their algebraic-numerical nature. This approach reduces the importance of considering the sensitivity of different structures, because the structure is generated considering the calculated zeros and poles. However, analytical expressions for solving the problem of functional synthesis directly in the s-plane are now obtained only for algebraic numbers of the second degree. For higher degrees, an indirect approach based on the transition from the sampled z-plane to the coefficient space is used. Instead of zeros and poles, the quantized coefficients of the so-called equivalent direct form are calculated. To reduce the dimension of the problem of finding the corresponding coefficients, it is necessary to develop effective algorithms. For these purposes, the analysis of the module of the normalized absolute sensitivity of the transfer function is considered in the paper.

The Traveling Salesman Problem (TSP) is a classic NP-hard problem example. In this regard, the development of new methods for solving it, is an urgent task. Considering that the time complexity finding the exact solution is a factorial or exponential dependence on the input data, there are many methods for approximate solution of TSP. In this case, algorithms based on probabilistic-directed search are popular. Among these are genetic and bio-inspired algorithms. This paper presents two new indicators in genetic algorithms (GA) for analyzing the degradation degree of the population. Special software was developed for the GA analysis, which was tested on the well-known benchmark: bier 127. A number of representation issues are discussed along with genetic Edge Recombination Crossover (ERX) and Partially-mapped crossover (PMX). Test results indicate that the GA with ERX gives an advantage in the diversity of the population in front of the GA with the PMX. The obtained information is useful for further genetic algorithm parameters settings. As a result, developed indicators can be used for forward estimation of the GA prospects even before applying it to a real task. They can be also used for parameter settings of the GA.

Low power, area efficient clocked comparator with high resolution was designed in SAED 32/28nm CMOS process for SAR ADC applications. The analog comparator is based on digital cells, hence doesn't have stability issues, mismatches induced by the differential pair, can be easily integrated to the digital part of VLSI systems, dissipates small power, and has a small area. Input offset equation of the comparator was derived considering mismatches between transfer characteristics of the comparator stages and calculated total offset with Monte-Carlo simulation. Finally, the comparator performance was verified over PVT variation in designed 10-bit SAR ADC.

For a generalized model of propagation channel accounting both fading and shadowing an analytic expression of the average receiver operation characteristic (AROC) was obtained and analyzed in a number of specific cases, including Rayleigh, Nakagami-m, Rice and Rice shadowed. The existence of the AROCs cross point (for aforementioned models) was demonstrated and studied depending on the average signal-to-noise ratio, fading severity and number of multipath components.

The problems of the evolution of the forward and inverse discrete Fourier transform are investigated. Forward and inverse discrete Fourier transform is the basis of the classical discrete spectral analysis of signals. The effectiveness of known methods for modifying the original discrete signal is analyzed to improve the characteristics of classical discrete spectral analysis of signals. A generalization of the discrete Fourier transform (DFT) in the form of a parametric discrete Fourier transform (DFT-P) is proposed, which, in essence, is the evolution of the discrete Fourier transform. A generalization of the inverse discrete Fourier transform (IDFT) is given in the form of a modified parametric discrete Fourier transform (MDFT-P). The basic properties of the bases of DFT-P and MDPF-P are presented. The interrelation between the methods of modifying the original discrete signal and the parametric DFT and the modified parametric DFT is considered.

The synthesis of adaptive nonlinear signal processing algorithms based on the use of a robust approach to determine the optimal parameters of the amplitude transfer characteristics (ATC) is considered. The named processing is carried out at a certain final signal/noise ratio (SNR) at the input of the nonlinear block (NLB). A robust approach to determining the minimum root mean square error (RMSE) and by the minimum criterion of the generalized parameters of the NLB with the finite SNR is considered. The structural diagrams of the NLB, that implement the abovementioned algorithms including the use of multidimensional quadrature generator, is presented. It is shown the difference signal from the useful, the ratios of their parameters and usage in this case, the probabilistic algorithm of Newtonian type.

Mathematical, numerical and algorithmical models for computation of interconnected hydrodynamic processes in the producing well, oscillation of the implosion chamber on the elastic steel cable and filtration in the fractured-porous oil reservoir caused by hydraulic shock on bottom-hole formation zone is proposed. The iterative procedures and parallel algorithms to solve the system of non-linear algebraic equations are developed. These models are implemented in program package. The features of processes in the united implosion system “oil reservoir - well-chamber” are numerically studied. An influence of the various parameters on the length of created fractures in the bottom-hole zone is estimated. It is shown that chamber can shift for a few meters due to elongation of the cable. The displacement magnitude depends on material of the cable and the form of the chamber that determinate its viscous interaction with borehole fluid. The important result is also that there exists the optimal size of the chamber that provides the maximal effect from the implosion hydraulic shock.
