THE ORGANIZATION FEATURES OF THE RUSSIAN WOMEN LABOR ACTIVITY DURING PANDEMIC OF CORONAVIRUS 新冠肺炎大流行期间俄罗斯妇女劳动活动的组织特征

The coronavirus pandemic had a major impact on the Russian economy and actualized gender inequality issue in many areas of social life. The changes caused by the introduction of quarantine and social exclusion largely affected the labor relations, especially an issue of the women position in the labor market. The changes in society that the pandemic has caused put the gains in gender equality under a great risk. That was manifested in a reduction of women’s wages and an increase in unemployment. Along with working duties, women, being self-insulated at home, had to engage in children and to do household work. Such a situation can increase the gap in gender roles and also contribute to the development of further gender segregation in various sectors of the economy and professions.

ON THE QUESTION OF THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE THEORY OF CIRCULAR MOTION, CHIAROSCURO AND THE THEORY OF VISION BY LEONARDO DA VINCI 论列奥纳多·达·芬奇的圆周运动理论、明暗对比理论与视觉理论的关系问题

The article deals with some aspects of the theory of vision, the theory of circular motion by Leonardo da Vinci. He believed that visible objects emit infinitely many rays, each ray carries information to all points in the atmosphere. The perceiving eye, moving, not only sees the world, but feels it, and is a part of it. He compared the spherical rotation of the eye with similar rotational functions of the body. The possibilities of rotations as universal forms of movement of the body and eyes, and as the basis of the eternal mechanics of the universe, were studied in detail by Leonardo, using the example of anatomical experiments, kinetics and optics. He used observations in the field of anatomy and biomechanics for his engineering inventions and pictorial compositions. The article also considers little-studied drawings from the Huygens Code, on the topic of circular motion and changes in the proportions of the human body, which researchers associate with unknown drawings by Leonardo.

THE VALUE OF YOUNG WOMEN’S APPEARANCE 年轻女性外表的价值

The article deals in studying how the value of the external attractiveness of young women influences various aspects of their life in society. The data are given, allowing to describe that value as basic, having the motive-forming and compensatory functions. The results are presented that reveal a high degree of importance of appearance for young women: achieving a higher social status, a luxurious life, a successful career in management and entrepreneurship. The author sees the regularity in the relationship between external attractiveness and agharmonic components of the initiative, egoism and selfishness. He also outlines a negative relation between the significance of the considered value and the attitude to labor and work. When the appearance is attained too much of significance with the young women, they tend to get rid of some generally accepted norms. At the same time, girls associate the value of their attractiveness with well-being in interpersonal relationships and life success.

FORMS OF THE LEISURE AND HEALTH IMPROVEMENT OF THE ELDERLY IN A STATIONARY INSTITUTION 固定机构中老年人的休闲和健康改善形式

The article analyzes the concrete experience of the work of the Cherkizovsky psycho-neurological care home in organizing the leisure and health improvement for people suffering from chronic mental illnesses, which to some extent affect their legal capacity. Among the leisure forms that help the social adaptation of those living in the care home, the following are shown: conducting classes in arts and crafts; freestyle motocross with experienced instructors; carrying out excursions and tourist trips; rehabilitation of patients with the help of specially trained dogs. The program “Active Longevity in Cherkizovo” opened a new opportunities for organizing and spending leisure time. Among the healing practices, the author point out: the use of a dry carbonic bath and halotherapy; Nordic walking classes with elements of breathing exercises; application of cryotherapy, hirudotherapy, pressotherapy and cryosauna. The Cherkizovsky care home constantly monitors the effectiveness of leisure and health-improving methods for bettering the social well-being of the social services users. The author concludes that the sensitive, attentive attitude of the administration and staff towards the elderly and the disabled, as well as the use of advanced methods of organizing leisure and recreation, contribute to the maximum preservation and development of their individual abilities.

EXPERIENCE OF USING RESULTS OF THE PUBLIC OPINION POLLS IN THE REGULATION OF THE LOCAL SELF-GOVERNMENT 在地方自治管理中运用民意调查结果的经验

The article analyzes the experience of using results of the public opinion polls in the regulation of the local self-government system. The author of the article focuses on the fact that it is not only the assessment of the effectiveness of the activities of local authorities that is of particular importance for the formation of relevant models for the organization of local self-government allowing to implement the main provisions of federal laws, but also the use of results of the public opinion, allowing to analyze the socio-political situation in municipalities, as well as to improve the quality of interaction with the population. At the same time, the contradictory role of local self-government is noted, since low awareness of the population leads to unwillingness to be involved in the management process. The author substantiates the idea that sociological research, being a tool for obtaining operational information, allows timely identification of political and social moods, preferences and expectations in society, the potential for the development of a municipality, as well as measures necessary to initiate such development. Finally it is concluded that making the effective management decisions, optimizing the local self-government system, and, consequently, the stability of the institution itself, is impossible without analyzing and taking into account the information communicated by the society.

The article analyzes results of the international scientific and practical conference “Gender Studies. Theory, Scientific schools, Practice” (Moscow, March 4–5, 2021). The geography of the representation of the conference participants showed the relevance of the stated topic in Russian and foreign humanities, and the range of researchers in the humanities – sociologists, historians, cultural scientists, political scientists, psychologists, anthropologists – expressed multi-disciplinarity in the study of gender issues. It presents an analysis of current trends in the gender relations and gender discourse in the political, social, economic and cultural spheres in the context of the formation of a new gender order. Moreover it accumulates the scientific ideas, approaches and new research technologies and adduces the practice of implementing their results. The conference was timed to coincide with the 110th anniversary of the celebration of International Women’s Day–March 8 as a day of solidarity of women in the struggle for their rights.

FORMATION OF THE FUTURE FAMILY IMAGE AMONG PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY STUDENTS 师范大学生未来家庭形象的形成

The article presents a theoretical analysis of the issue of forming a future family image. The paper also highlights the influential factors that influence the formation of modern young people’s ideas about family and marriage (parental family, educational system, communication with coevals, the media). It describes the formation of gender identity, the primary and secondary gender identity. The paper reveals that respondents from full families have a positive attitude both to their parent family and to the future one. More than half of the surveyed students will listen to the opinion of a significant parent about their favored partner, that is, young people are not ready to defend their opinion, but will more readily take into account the experience of parents, avoiding misunderstandings and conflicts with them. The authors emphasize that formating an image of the future family is an integral part of the personality socialization

GENDER SOCIALIZATION AT THE BEGINNING OF THE 21ST CENTURY THROUGH THE EVENTFULNESS OF CHILDHOOD 21世纪初的性别社会化,透过童年的多事

In the article, the gender socialization is considered not only as a process of influence on children of the adult community through various mechanisms, it is proposed to include in the analysis the childhood events related to the independence, self-socialization of the younger generation. On the basis of a sociological study of the youth recollections of the childhood events (2018), the paper describes specifics in the behavior of boys and girls and draws conclusions about the manifestation of diversity, different intensities of the passage of the childhood events in the spheres of education and culture, the development of the information space, deviation, consumer practices. The contradictions in the reproduction of parental attitudes towards children of different sex, the destruction of deviation as a “male” sphere of adolescents’ life, and the infantilization of young men are revealed.
本文认为性别社会化不仅是通过各种机制对成人社区儿童产生影响的过程,还提出将与年轻一代的独立、自我社会化相关的童年事件纳入分析。在对青少年童年事件回忆的社会学研究(2018)的基础上,本文描述了男孩和女孩行为中的具体特征,并得出了童年事件在教育和文化、信息空间发展、偏差、消费者实践等领域的多样性、不同强度的表现形式。揭示了父母对异性别儿童的态度再现、偏离作为青少年生活“男性”领域的破坏以及青年男子的幼稚化等矛盾。

A THEORETICAL APPROACH TO GENDER STUDIES COURSE IN TERMS OF FEMINIST PEDAGOGY 从女性主义教育学的角度探讨性别研究课程

The article studies how feminist pedagogy in gender education is used to transform the mindset of students, their families and ultimately society. Brazilian theorist Paul Freire describes the oppressor-oppressed (discriminatory) relationship in society in the Pedagogy of the Oppressed. According to Freire, education is a direct political act and can transform society as well as a libertarian style of pedagogy where everyone speaks, expresses their opinions and attains their rights. In feminist pedagogy inspired by Freire, the structures and systems that sustain the discrimination against women are identified as early as the school level and are subsequently transformed to minimize negative attitudes toward girls. Feminist pedagogy, started to take its place in academia as a field that supports the critical thinking structure after the 1980s in Turkey. It aims to strengthen the student’s self-esteem, independence and questioning abilities, especially to criticize the patriarchal social structure and to promote the gender equality. Feminist pedagogy is applied in the state and private universities in Turkey. The paper focuses on the author’s teaching experience of “Gender Studies” course with 348 Turkish and foreign students in a private university in Istanbul between 2019–2022. Feminist pedagogy was applied in terms of the content and method in the classroom and the survey that was conducted to measure the impacts of the method in terms of transformation. The paper contributes to gender studies of scholars with a feminist perspective on how to apply that methodology. Based on a study of the effectiveness of teaching the mentioned discipline, recommendations for improving the pedagogical content were made

The article reveals the role of Lidia Alekseevna Shanyavskaya as the inspirer and organizer of the Moscow People’s University (1908). The author, relying on archival materials, recreates the higher educational institution process of institutionalization, which can be divided into 3 stages. The first stage (September–November 1905) relates to the activities of Alfons Leonovich Shanyavsky, who determined the democratic grounds for its opening (no restrictions on gender, nationality and religion), bequeathed funds for its maintenance and limited its opening deadline – November 3, 1908. At that stage, Lidia Alekseevna was officially tasked to represent her husband in organizing the work for opening the People’s University. The second stage (December 1905 – December 1907) is associated with the work of a specially created Commission consisting of the best representatives of the intelligentsia: M.M. Kovalevsky, S.A. Muromtsev, A.N. Reformatsky, V.K. Rot, M.V. Sabashnikov, N.V. Speransky, K.A. Timiryazev, A.N. Sheremetievskaya, V.E. Yakushkin. The Commission had to overcome the resistance of the Ministry of Public Education, which tried to take control over the appointment of the rector and teachers, as well as the discipline content, and the Interior Ministry, which was afraid of lifting all restrictions and turning the university into a forge of unreliable citizens. At that stage, Lydia Alekseevna’s role was to restrain attempts to open a university covertly bypassing the authoryties obstruction in violation of Shanyavsky’s will for an educational institution where systematic lectures would be given according to the sanctioned curricula. The third stage (January–November 1908) belongs exclusively to L.A. Shanyavskaya. Thanks to the skill of women’s diplomacy, she managed to build a dialogue with the Minister of Education A.N. Schwartz and the Chairman of the Council of Ministers P.A. Stolypin and open the People’s University
