Remote work has significantly altered the landscape of various industries, including the traditionally onsite-dependent oil and gas sector. This review paper examines the influence of remote work on organizational culture within this sector, offering a comprehensive analysis of existing literature to understand the ramifications of this shift. The study's objectives include identifying the core components of organizational culture affected by remote work, understanding the challenges and opportunities presented by remote work practices, and proposing strategies for effectively managing these changes within the oil and gas industry. Through a systematic review of academic journals, industry reports, and case studies, the paper synthesizes findings on how remote work has reshaped communication, leadership, and operational practices within the oil and gas sector. It highlights the dual nature of remote work's impact: on one hand, enhancing flexibility and potential for work-life balance; on the other, posing challenges for maintaining cohesive organizational culture, knowledge sharing, and employee engagement. The key findings suggest that remote work can positively influence organizational culture by promoting digital transformation and innovative management practices. However, it also necessitates a reevaluation of traditional norms and values to prevent a disconnect between remote and onsite employees. The paper concludes that the successful integration of remote work within the oil and gas sector requires a deliberate approach to cultural adaptation. This includes investing in technology and training, fostering open communication, and developing inclusive policies that align with the sector's unique operational and cultural needs. By doing so, companies can leverage remote work to enhance their organizational culture, thereby improving resilience, efficiency, and employee satisfaction in the face of evolving work dynamics.

Remifentanil hydrochloride is an ultra-short-acting opioid that undergoes rapid metabolism by tissue and plasma esterases. Remifentanil is increasingly used as an adjuvant to general anaesthesia in neonates undergoing surgery because of its favourable haemodynamic and respiratory effects compared with other agents. The pharmacokinetic profile of remifentanil appears well suited for use in the sedation of children for short, day case procedures and remifentanil has been demonstrated to be an attractive drug for this purpose. Owing to higher clearances, younger children will require higher infusion rates of remifentanil than older children and adults to achieve equivalent plasma concentrations. Propofol and remifentanil appear to be gaining popularity for short procedures in children. Together they provide sedation, anxiolysis and analgesia, possibly best provided by separate continuous infusions. They also promote haemodynamic stability, minimal respiratory depression, with a rapid recovery profile. The use of remifentanil in neonates and young infants is increasing despite the difficulties in obtaining high standard objective evidence in this age group. Remifentanil’s pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic profile in this age group is similar to that of older children, which may have several theoretical advantages. Reports of a rapid development of µ-receptor tolerance with remifentanil are in conflict; activity at δ-opioid receptors may contribute. Remifentanil produce a fall in blood pressure and cardiac index, mainly as a result of a fall in heart rate. Although atropine is able to reduce the fall in heart rate, is not able to prevent completely the reduction in cardiac index. Remifentanil has been described as a titratable opioid. It has been reported to be ideally suited to the sedation of selected neurosurgical patients who require frequent neurological examinations. It may also provide suitable analgesia based sedation in mechanically ventilated children postoperatively.

Background: The introduction of Vietnamese Nursing Competency Standards in 2012 has urged the needs for re-assessment of nursing skills, with the aim to improve the quality of the training on wound care in country. Purposes: The study aimed to describe knowledge and practice of nurses on wound care and identify some the related factors in order to make the recommendation for improvement of the nursing care competency. Methods: This a cross-sectional descriptive prospective study was conducted in Ha Dong General Hospital from July 2023 to October 2023. Results: 76 clinical nurses were enrolled with the mean age was 35.6±6.8 years, female nurses most commonly accounted for 89.5%. Notably, the lowest average score in terms of knowledge was observed in suture removal (9.74±3.21) and pressure ulcer wound care (6.93±1.63). In terms of practice, the lowest average score was recorded for pain assessment and bleeding control (7.91±1.33). Furthermore, the study revealed a statistically significant correlation between knowledge and working experience (p<0.05). Nurses with a good level of knowledge were found to have a 4.66 times higher likelihood of demonstrating good practice (OR=4.66). Conclusions and recommendations: The factors related to the competency of wound care of nurses were found in the study strongly suggest the need for improvement of quality of training in order to align with the established standards.

The CRISPR/Cas9 system provides a robust and multiplexable genome editing tool, enabling researchers to precisely manipulate specific genomic elements and facilitating the elucidation of target gene function in biology and diseases. CRISPR/Cas9 consists of a nonspecific Cas9 nuclease and a set of programmable sequence-specific CRISPR RNA (crRNA), which can guide Cas9 to cleave DNA and generate double-strand breaks at target sites. Subsequent cellular DNA repair processes lead to desired insertions, deletions, or substitutions at target sites. The particularity of CRISPR/Cas9-mediated DNA cleavage requires target sequences matching crRNA and a protospacer adjacent motif located downstream of target sequences. Here, we review the molecular mechanism, applications, and challenges of CRISPR/Cas9-mediated genome editing and the clinical therapeutic potential of CRISPR/Cas9 in the future.

Plants with therapeutic potentials are considered to be the main source of phytoconstituents that can be used for the treatment of various ailments. This work focuses on determining the acute toxicity and the phytochemical constituents present in ethanol stem bark extracts of Annona muricata using Gas chromatography-mass spectroscopy. Lorke's toxicity testing method was used to determine the acute toxicity of the A. muricata stem bark extract. The result of the quantitative phytochemical GC-MS analysis of the stem bark showed that the ethanol stem bark extracts contained 13 compounds at different retention times. The dominant constituents present in the stem bark ethanol extracts of A. muricata were; Diisooctyl phthalate (25.81%), 1,2,3-Benzenetriol (14.41%),Phthalic acid (12.47%), Silane (7.60%) and 2-Heptanol (7.01) while the other constituents have less than 6% abundance respectively. Studies on acute toxicity revealed that the LD50 was > 5000 mg/kg of body weight.

The aim of this study was to ascertain the impact of applying ascorbic acid (AsA), salicylic acid (SA) and wood vinegar at varying concentrations of salt (NaCl) on the germination and other physiological parameters of fenugreek (Trigonella foenum-graecum L.) seeds. Four different NaCl concentrations (0, 50, 100, and 150 mM), four separate SA and AsA applications (0, 50, 100, and 150 mM) and wood vinegar (0.05 %, 0.10 %, 0.15 %) were used in the study for each application. The study looked at the following criteria: germination rate (%), germination duration (day), root length (cm), and stem length (cm). This investigation showed that higher salt concentrations had a negative effect on germination. Positive effects on germination and other parameters were also found with treatments of 50 mM and 100 mM AsA and SA. It has been found that the optimal administration of AsA and SA can positively impact fenugreek plant germination in saline environments. In addition, 0.10 % dose of wood vinegar had a more positive effect than other application doses.

Four different NaCl concentrations (0, 50, 100, and 150 mM), four separate SA and AsA applications (0, 50, 100, and 150 mM) and wood vinegar (0.05 %, 0.10 %, 0.15 %) were used in the study for each application. The study looked at the following criteria: germination rate (%), germination duration (day), root length (cm), and stem length (cm). This investigation showed that higher salt concentrations had a negative effect on germination. Positive effects on germination and other parameters were also found with treatments of 50 mM and 100 mM AsA and SA. It has been found that the optimal administration of AsA and SA can positively impact fenugreek plant germination in saline environments. Recent advancements in solar photovoltaic (PV) technologies have significantly enhanced the efficiency, materials, and applications of solar energy systems, driving the transition towards more sustainable energy solutions. This paper provides an overview of these advancements and their implications for the future of solar energy. One of the major breakthroughs in solar PV technology is the development of high-efficiency photovoltaic cells. Innovations in cell design and manufacturing processes have led to significant improvements in conversion efficiency. For instance, multi-junction solar cells, which layer multiple semiconductor materials, have achieved efficiencies exceeding 40% under concentrated sunlight. Additionally, advances in passivated emitter rear cell (PERC) technology and bifacial solar cells, which capture light from both sides, have further boosted the efficiency of traditional silicon-based PV cells. Materials science has also played a crucial role in advancing solar PV technologies. The emergence of new materials such as perovskite solar cells has revolutionized the field with their potential for high efficiency and low production costs. Perovskite materials offer flexibility and ease of fabrication, allowing for lightweight and adaptable solar panels. Furthermore, advances in organic photovoltaics (OPVs) and quantum dot solar cells are contributing to the development of flexible, semi-transparent, and aesthetically pleasing PV panels, expanding the scope of their applications.
