This study was planned as a descriptive relational study. The study was carried out with 140 university students studying at the sports sciences faculty of a state university in Konya. The questionnaires were delivered to the participants via social media; The mean age of the participants was 21.01±2.33, 60.7% of them were girls, 39.3% were boys, 49.3% of their mothers were high school graduates, 51.4% of them were high school graduates from their fathers. When the physical activity level of the students was evaluated, it was seen that 38.6% of them were in the low level of physical activity and 38.6% were in the physically inactive group. In our study, in which we evaluated the relationship between the physical activity level of the students and the desire to be liked, girls, those who perceive their health as bad and those who are physically active were in the risk group.

Introduced into school physical education lessons, the formative directions and valences of sports games receive the content of instructive-educational and operational objectives, which are then put into practice. The situations that ask children to establish certain relationships with each other and adopt a behavior depending on what others do as either partners or opponents is a social-role game. The research involved 27 students aged 9-10 years old. The experiment was carried out as part of physical education lessons, with third graders participating in two lessons of physical education per week. In the motor tests, the differences between the mean values are relatively large, and these differences are statistically significant, with a generally large t-value and a p-value of less than 0.05 for allindicators. For this reason, it is rightly considered that such games contribute to the practice and development of interpersonal behavior and the individual’s social maturation.

This paper aims to highlight the effect of endurance training on the development of the swimmers' performance, vital capacity, inspiratory muscle power, and inspiratory flow. The research was conducted on two directions: establishing the differences in lungcapacity, inspiratory power, and inspiratory flow in CmH2O between open water swimmers and indoor pool swimmers, and establishing the differences in lung capacity, inspiratory power, and inspiratory flow between swimmers in the 2nd - 4th places andswimmers in the 8th - 32nd places at the last national championships. The research methods used in this study were: the study of professional literature, the observation method, the experiment method, the statistical-mathematical method, and the graphicalrepresentation method. The Powerbreathe K series device was used to measure the efficiency of inspiratory muscles, recording the values of lung capacity, inspiratory flow and power, and output in CmH2O.

This research was performed in the first semester of the school year 2018-2019 and we used two groups, one made up of 40 children in the third grade at “Alexandru Costescu” Middle School, in Bucharest, and one group of 40 parents. In order to evaluate multiple intelligence and to point out levels and types of intelligence perceived by children and their parents, we used a “Questionnaire on how to assess your child’s intelligence” and a “Questionnaire on how to identify students’ skills and abilities”. After gathering and analysing the data, we noticed that there is a good consistency between the parents’ assessment of the children and the children’s self assessment regarding the classification in the right type of intelligence. The above mentioned results made us conclude that parents’ support when it comes to extracurricular activities help children grow by having dominant intelligence and predispositions in the centre of their evolution.

The research was aimed at determining the predictive values of morphological characteristics in the competitive selection of young karatekas. The research included a total of 79 karatekas, aged 11 to 13 (± 0.5 years) of which 37 were competitors in kumite, 23 in kata, and 19 participants who competed in both disciplines. It was expected that certain differences between the examined groups of karatekas in morphological characteristics would appear, which was confirmed by the obtained results. The hypothesis that participants of different competitive orientations will differ significantly in the results of morphological characteristics has been partially confirmed. However, the tendencies of some differences registered in the oldest age of the participants, as well as the analysis of some researches conducted on the population of elite karate players, indicate the importance of forecasting definite morphological characteristics for success in a specific competitive discipline (kata or kumite).

This study aimed to investigate the effects of a 12-week circuit exercise intervention on the health-related physical fitness and biomarkers of elderly with cardiovascular diseases. Sixty-seven subjects participated in the study, included stretching, aerobic, and resistance training. Pre- and post-examination blood testing and fitness testing. Paired samples t-tests, and correlation analysis were used to analyse the data. Results showed that subjects were overweight and had medium risk levels of infection for cardiovascular diseases. Cardiovascular and strength performance improved, but sit-up performance was lower than the norm. Total cholesterol and systolic blood pressure improved, but systolic blood pressure remained at a pre-hypertension level. The intervention had a significant positive effect on health-related physical fitness and biomarkers with medium risk cluster of cardiovascular diseases, and there was a high correlation between the two. BMI had a positive correlation with biomarker index and cardiovascular fitness, while agility andflexibility had a negative correlation.

The aim of this study was to examine the relationship between sleep quality and physical activity. This study was planned as a descriptive relational study. The study was carried out with 317 adult individuals registered in a Family Health Center located in Selçuklu district of Konya province. A personal information form, prepared by researchers and questioning socio - demographic characteristics, International Physical Activity Questionnaire and Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index were used. Two independent samples ttest and one-way Anova were used for normally distributed data. It was observed that as the physical activity score averages of the individuals increased, the sleep quality score averages decreased. In line with the results of the study, it was found that there is asignificant relationship between the physical activity levels of individuals and their sleep quality. It has been concluded that individuals get better quality sleep with the increase in their physical activity level.

With the start of the modern Olympic Games in 1896, different countries began to get involved in supporting sport activities, to participate in international competitions and also started to organize international sport events. The aim of the study is to determine the influence of the Romanian communist regime in sport activities in the period 1944-1989. Despite the fact that in Romania there were fine conditions for athletes, many of them remained abroad after competitions or left the country in different circumstances. Thestate’s decision to support sporting activities made these international results and the apparition of these iconic athletes possible. In the communist period (1944-1989) at the Olympic Games and the European and World Championships, Romania won approximately 2,000 medals at senior level. The communist regime was perhaps not the best solution for Romanian people, but in terms of sporting results, this period was indeed "the golden age".

Cognitive development of the chess player children is one of the most important parameter followed by researchers in order for them to achieve high levels of performance. In this study we take into account children’s parents opinion about the efficacy of chess training in their children mental development. Parents play an important role in establishing outcomes for the children through adequate activities in order to develop their emerging abilities. Chess is a sport involving competition, but is also a strategic game involving analysis and strategy research, psychological and physical effort, particular activity which can influence long term children behavior. This study takes into consideration the fact that chess playing involves a wide range of factors when making a strategic decision on a chess board by requiring a complex intellectual activity.

Respiratory rehabilitation is an effective method in reducing respiratory symptoms and the incidence of complications, decreasing anxiety, depression, increasing exercise tolerance, improving the quality of life and daily activities in the context of Long Covid, including the use of technology at the patient's home by optimizing remote intervention under the careful observation of a physiotherapist (telerehabilitation). Following the study of 400 articles published in PubMed, Elsevier, Research Gates, Sci-Hub, British Medical Journal and the specialist COVID-19 guidelines developed in countries such as: USA, China, Italy, Great Britain, we suggest some rehabilitation protocols. During the pandemic, despite the subvariants of COVID-19 and persistence of Long Covid, respiratory rehabilitation specialists have reached a consensus on the importance of practicing early physical exercise for training the respiratory muscles (AMR), with/without respiratory re-education devices. Bronchial drainage positions, chest clapping, cough and speaking training, exercises of: balance, walking, stretching and Core are also used successfully.
