The aim of the study is to determine the Internet addiction and physical activity levels of healthcare professionals. This study has been planned as a descriptive relational. The study was conducted with 140 healthcare workers working. In collecting data; The personal information form, the International Physical Activity Questionnaire and the Young Addiction Scale were used. When the physical activity level is evaluated; 62.1% of the individuals were found to be inactive in terms of physical activity. When the internet addiction level was evaluated, it was seen that 46.4% of the healthcare workers were possibly addicted. A high negative correlation was found between physical activity and internet addiction. As the physical activity level of healthcare professionals decreases, the level of internet addiction increases.

The purpose of the research is to point out the correlations between motor skills and behavioral characteristics of military high school students during COVID 19 pandemic. The research was held from 8th to 12th March 2021 on a group of 44 Romanian students (9 girls and 35 boys), age average 17.6 and consisted in testing the motor abilities by undergoing a tactical trail with 10 stages and filling in the Achenbach System of Empirically Based Assessment (ASEBA) questionnaires. Data were analyzed with PASW Statistic18 by using correlation analyses, and the significance level was set at P<0.05 and P<0.01. The results reveal that, statistically, the recorded time correlates positively with Somatic Complaints, Thought Problems and Internalizing scale. The total time statistically corelates with Thought Problems. The military students reported poorer motor skills abilities during pandemic. They seemed to have a sedentary lifestyle with more internalized problems and less workout.

The aim of this study is to determine the level of physical activity and loneliness in older adults and to examine the relationship between these variables. The sample size of the study consists of 137 older adults. The mean age of the participants is 70,12±3,32. It was determined that 71.5% of the elderly individuals were in the physically inactive (<600 MET-min/week) group. The mean score of the loneliness scale of the elderly was found to be 15.93 ± 2.00. The mean score of the loneliness scale of those who were not physically active (inactive) was found to be higher than the mean score of the loneliness scale of those with a low level of physical activity, and the difference was found to be statistically significant. As a result, it was determined that elderly individuals who do not engage in physical activity have a higher mean score on the loneliness scale.

The average age of the students is 17.08 ± 0.853, 59% of them are girls, 43.6% of the extended family, 38.5% of them perceive their health well, 34.2% of their mothers are high school graduates and 56.4% 46.2% of them were high school graduates and 69.2% were working, and 36.8% perceived their income as bad. The mean score of the knowledge about nutrition is 11.74 ± 3.22, the mean score for the emotion towards nutrition is 17.97 ± 4.14, and positive nutrition The mean score for the was found to be 13.18 ± 2.43 and the mean score for the was found to be 11.61 ± 2.61. As a result of the study, it was seen that the students were in the risky group in terms of physical activity.

Increasing muscle strength in the treatment of Down syndrome represents an important stage of the intervention plan, because one of the symptoms of this disorder is a generalized hypotonia. The study was conducted on 13 patients diagnosed with Down syndrome, the physical therapy strategy envisaging the improvement of muscle strength, both analytically, on muscle groups, and globally, by using therapeutic physical exercises. At the end of the physical therapy, all of the manually tested muscles (the biceps brachii, the triceps brachii, the latissimus dorsi, the rhomboids, the quadratus lumborum, the pectoralis major, the gluteus maximus, the iliopsoas, the pelvitrochanteric muscles, the adductor muscles, the tensor fascia lata, the quadriceps, the hamstrings, the sartorius, the triceps surae, the tibialis anterior, and the peroneus muscles) changed their scores, from some initial values between 3.08 and 3.77 points, to final values between 4-02 and 4.50 points, which showed a good muscle tonicity, the children succeeding in performing their usual activities with better precision and coordination.

The study was performed on a number of 20 subjects with the clinical diagnosis of supraspinatus tendonitis, over two years. These were divided into 2 groups: experimental and control, each consisting of 10 subjects. Thus, the control group benefited from 10 electrotherapy sessions (IF, TENS and US) and a classical physiotherapy program (10 sessions) and the experimental group: electrotherapy (IF, TENS and US) and facilitation techniques: Relaxation - Opposition and Miotensive with the same number of sessions. The results obtained confirm the hypothesis from which it was started, so the amplitude on the abduction and external rotation movement recorded in the experimental group reached normal values after 7 sessions, compared to the control group which, after 10 sessions remained with amplitude deficit on abduction movement and external rotation.

We have been observing various preventive measures implemented to contain the COVID19 pandemic in the world since the new Coronavirus outbreak. Self-isolation, staying at home and keeping away from social gatherings and mobilities are some examples. We argue how people perceive the virus and the preventive measures are important to understand their response to the pandemic. So, we studied the metaphoric perceptions of individuals regarding the Coronavirus itself and the preventive measures. The given data of a sample of 318 individuals was categorized regarding the concepts of "coronavirus" and "stay at home". Both concepts had one common category, namely "precautionary". One prominent result is that most of the participants think that the virus has some positive and "Instructive" aspects, a warning that one must pay attention. Another important result is that staying at home is perceived as "restricting the leisure time", causing a restriction in the physical activity.

It is well known that participation in various physical sports activities contributes to the physical, psychological and emotional development of students, as well as their ability to socialize. A large part of students who come at university from other cities and have an increased need to socialize and build new groups of friends, especially in the first years of study, can use sports activities as a method of socialization. The purpose of this paper is to analyze how university students socialize through physical activities and sports. Using the method of quantitative research, the technique of administering questionnaires through sociological survey, we conducted a study with students from the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, in the 2019-2020 academic year, with 594 of participants. The results of the study can help young people to use participation in various physical sports activities as an opportunity to socialize, meet other people and make new friends.

The interdependence between cognitive and motor skills development, and also the experience we gained teaching in classes I-IV, influenced our decision to accomplish this study. Thus we have seen that the cognitive and motor development can be optimized using methods and means of physical education, both those from the physical education curriculum and other methods studied by various specialists. The study on cognitive and motor skills of students in grades I-IV was conducted over three stages over a period of six weeks. The cognitive and motor skills are very important for the child development. These two branches are interrelated and influence each other. Therefore we need a very good systematic physical education lessons, taking into account the psychomotor, affective and cognitive objectives.

Worldwide, cerebral vascular accident is one of the leading causes of morbidity and mortality. According to the World Health Organization, 6,5 million cerebrovascular accident- induced deaths were recorded in 2011. In Romania, the cerebrovascular accident is the third mortality cause, after cancer and cardiovascular diseases. The number of cerebral vasculo-circulatory diseases continues to grow, due to atherosclerosis and high blood pressure frequency. Physical therapy aims to help patients gradually recover the range of motion in their lower and upper limbs, reduce oedema, prevent bed sores, prevent or reduce joint stiffness, as well as recover the ability to perform day to day activities. The purpose of this paper was to highlight physical therapy’s beneficial outcome when applied individualised to a patient having had a cerebral vascular accident with a view to improving the psycho- motor and sensory imbalances accompanying this diagnosis.
