Fresh Aloe vera plant leaves were brought from botanical garden and sample was indentied and brought to the laboratory in the Department of Zoology, Patkar-Varde College, Goregaon (W), Mumbai. 50 grams of leaves were then grounded with 50ml of distilled water in sterilized pestle and mortar. The yield will be calculated based on weight of the extract compared to the weight of the pulp of the leaves. Forty eight (48) Sprague- dawley rats (average weight 150 - 250 g) of either sex were used for the experiment. The drugs ETH and PAS drug and Aloe vera juice were given to respective groups daily for 28 days. At the end of study various biochemical parameters were analyzed from serum such as, Bilirubin, ACP, ALP, SGOT (AST), SGPT (ALT), HDL Cholesterol, Total Cholesterol, and TGL. Liver tissues were analyzed for Histopathology. The data was statistically analyzed by one way analysis of variance (ANOVA). The value p< 0.05 considered as signicant. Administration ETH and PAS in Sprague-dawley rats showed hepatotoxicity in test groups which was conrmed by biochemical parameters and histoarchitecture examination of liver. The rats orally administered of Aloe vera juice in combination with the ETH and PAS or independently found to be effective in lowering the elevated levels of bilirubin, ACP, ALP, ALT, AST, HDL to approximate normal level in ETH and PAS treated rats and by elevating the level of TGL. From the histopathalogical study it was also found that ETH and PAS could induce hepatitis through increases in oxidative stress, liver injury, and liver histopathology. Aloe vera juice in acts as hepato-protective agent and recovered the liver to its normal architecture. Thus current research implies the functional potential of Aloe vera juice in hepatotoxicity induced rats.

Young adulthood can be a tumultuous phase of life where individuals are confronted by complicated psychological, physical, and social transitions. One young adult studying at a women's college presents emotional regulation issues in the classroom. A brief assessment by the counsellor reveals a more critical case with symptoms of severe anxiety, suicidal ideations, and the underlying family trauma of the young adult. This paper illustrates the course of therapeutic treatment for this young adult to resolve the symptoms of anxiety, deep-rooted trauma, and suicidal thoughts. Through a case study approach, the outcomes of the evidence-based techniques utilised by the counsellor- Egan's Skilled Helper Model, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, and the Assessment and Management of Suicide Risk—are shown. This paper illustrates the importance of understanding and tailoring such evidence-based treatment techniques by mental health practitioners, especially for adolescents and young adults with suicide risk.

Objective: Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) is one of the new concepts in the post operative care in which multidisciplinary approach has implemented for the speedy recovery of the patients. In the present study, ERAS protocol was followed in the C-section patient. In this observational study, 55 patients were recruited, and Materials & Methods: counselling was given to the patients about the ERAS protocol. In the preoperative wards, parameters such as hypertension, glucose, haemoglobin levels were checked. In Obese patient care has taken place for not gaining much weight during the pregnancy period. In the Intra operative ward care was taken in the following sections. Prophylactics antibiotics were given to the patient, in the surgical site antiseptic solution were used to clean the area, IV uids less than 3 litres were given to maintain the normothermia and euvolemia. Warm IVF were given to the patients to prevent hypothermia. To minimize the hypotension induced by spinal anaesthesis, antiemitics and vasopressin were given. After the surgery the patients were reviewed for early oral intake, bowel movements, blood glucose control for wound healing, early mobilisation, and ambulation within rst 8 hours, time for removal of urinary catheter and mother infant bonding. The study showed that more than 75% of the patients showed early mobilisation, ambulation and urinary catheter was removed within 6-12 hours for 76% of the patients. ERAS protocol increased the bonding between the mother and the infant (96%). Thus adapting ERAS protocol in OBG ward will provide improved recovery following surgery.

A rare phenomenon of HZ occurring concurrently in two non-contiguous dermatomes involving different halves of the body is termed herpes zoster duplex bilateralis (HZDB), with incidence < 0.5%, associated with a decline in cellular immunity,primary/acquired immunodeciencies,and immunosuppressants. Due to decreased cell-mediated immunity, immunocompromised patients have a 20-fold increased risk for HZ, occurring at low CD4 count with atypical manifestations. A 49-year-old male had HZ on the right ank with extension to back, erythematous nodules, and plaques arranged in a dermatomal pattern extending from the left angle of mouth to the left temple for two days with pain and fever. Biopsy from the nodule showed acanthosis, intraepidermal vesiculation caused due to ballooning degeneration at the base of the vesicle and neutrophils in the dermis s/o HZ. HIV and HBsAG were reactive. Simultaneous reactivation of VZV in multiple noncontiguous dermatomes requires an immunocompromised milieu, also immunosuppressed patients have atypical presentations. Such patients should undergo a complete immune status evaluation.

Background: Osteomas, arising from osteoblasts, are slow-growing benign mesenchymal tumors. While they can appear in any bone, their rarity in the temporal bone and middle ear (0.1% to 1% of benign skull tumors) emphasizes their distinctiveness. Initially asymptomatic, osteomas may become symptomatic with increasing size, commonly causing pain. Their unique prevalence underscores the importance of vigilance, as early stages may lack noticeable symptoms. This insight into osteomas highlights the potential for evolving clinical manifestations, particularly pain, necessitating attention as these benign tumors progress. The Case series: We are describing a case series of 3 unique cases of painless post-aural swelling. Clinical evaluation and a high-resolution CT scan of the temporal bone aided in diagnosing the swelling. Surgical excision was done for all the patients. Post-surgery, histopathological examination conrmed the diagnosis by scrutinizing tissue characteristics, validating the nature of the swelling as an osteoma. This comprehensive approach highlights the importance of accurate diagnosis and subsequent surgical intervention in osteoma cases. Osteomas in Conclusion: the mastoid area of the temporal bone, often presenting as asymptomatic swelling causing cosmetic disgurement, can be effectively treated with total excision, yielding a good prognosis. Context: The Digital Radiography & Magnetic Resonance Imaging scan is a Non-Invasive, Advanced Imaging Technique, which is a used in Clinical Radiology for the Assessment of Various Hip Joint Pathologies. Aims: To correlate the 3D DESS sequence with routine sequence & To evaluate accuracy of 3D DESS sequence in different hip joint pathologies. Settings And Design: Material And Methods: Prospective research study. A total of 60 patients (35 males, 15 females) were selected as a participant. Statistical Analysis: Results: The data were analyzed by using of STATA program 14.2 version. In our 60 patients Research study, There were 21 (42%) Cases of Avascular Necrosis (AVN), 7 (14%) Cases of arthritis, 3 (6%) and 1 (2%) cases were of femoral fracture and acetabular fracture, respectively our ndings showed that MEDIC, 3D-DESS and PDFS were signicantly better than (PD) & STIR sequences in the assessment of all the hip pain pathologies. The 3T MRI is a Modality of Choice for Various Hip Joint Pathologies Conclusion: and more Advantages than Digital Radiograph.

The need to be able to be ahead of the forecast weather report can be a game changer. Thus, the utilization of a weather station in a farm could have an enormous impact. This study was conducted at Top Fruits Sdn. Bhd. durian farm located in Parit Sulong, Johor, Malaysia. This research spanned partially from January 2023 to December 2023 and involved the utilization of durian trees aged between 5 to 35 years old. The Davis Weather Station has been deployed in the farm to gather continuous weather data. Some notable ndings were found which suggest a direct correlation between an increase in the humidity and a subsequent decrease in the durian harvest yield. The study identied 26.03 °C as the optimum daily average temperature for fruit development, which is the lowest average temperature recorded during the observation period. A high daily average evapotranspiration value, up to 2.68 mm as observed in this publication, favors the durian yield. Pearson's correlation analysis revealed no signicant correlation between rainfall and yield, attributed to the use of sprinkler irrigation when rain was absent. It can be concluded that weather patterns signicantly impact fruit development.

Alcohol dependence is a psychiatric disorder characterized by an inability to control or reduce alcohol consumption despite experiencing adverse consequences across various life domains. The cyclical pattern of relapse and recovery associated with this disorder perpetuates ongoing challenges for the wives of individuals with alcohol dependence. Repeatedly witnessing their husband's problematic drinking patterns often erodes their sense of hope, making it increasingly difcult for them to maintain emotional stability. Consequently, their frustration tolerance becomes diminished. Moreover, due to the chronic and recurrent nature of alcohol dependence, the wives' coping efforts frequently yield limited success, leading to a profound sense of helplessness. The present study aimed to compare frustration tolerance and helplessness levels in wives of individuals with alcohol dependence and wives of healthy controls. A sample of 100 wives of alcohol dependents was selected through purposive sampling and compared with 100 wives of healthy control subjects on the scales of frustration tolerance and helplessness. The results revealed that wives of alcohol dependents scored signicantly lower on frustration tolerance and higher on helplessness compared to wives of healthy controls.
