Thermoluminescence properties of LSO:Ce and YSO:Ce films grown from PbO and Bi2O3 fluxes PbO和Bi2O3助熔剂生长LSO:Ce和YSO:Ce薄膜的热致发光性能

The comparative analysis of thermoluminescent properties of Ce-doped single crystalline films (SCF) of Lu2SiO5 (LSO) and Y2SiO5 (YSO) orthosilicates, grown by LPE method from two different (PbO and Bi2O3) fluxes were performed in this work. We show that the difference in technology of material preparation resulted in different thermoluminescent behaviors of LSO:Ce and YSO:Ce SCFs caused by the formation of the Pb2+-Ce4+ and Bi3+-Ce3+ centers in them.

The report presents our achievements in the creation of scintillating screens for micro-imaging based on the single crystalline films of (Lu,Y)2SiO5 orthosilicates and (Lu,Gd)3(Al,Ga)5O12:Ce multicomponent garnets using the Liquid Phase Epitaxy (PLE) method.

Comparative analysis of the experimental results of X-ray luminescence, phosphorescence and thermally-stimulated luminescence intensities for different emission bands in ZnSe revealed that for 630 nm luminescence centers there are two recombination mechanisms existing - electron and hole.

The magnetic properties and magnetocaloric effect of single crystals RCoGaO4 (R = Lu, Yb) layered cobaltites were investigated. The strong anisotropy of magnetic susceptibility for YbCoGaO4 crystal confirms its Ising spin glass behavior while in LuCoGaO4 crystal Heisenberg-like spin glass phase is observed.

Growth and luminescent properties of Lu3(Ga,In)5O12:Eu3+ epitaxial films Lu3(Ga,In) 5012:Eu3+外延薄膜的生长和发光性能

High quality thin epitaxial films of Lu3(Ga,In)5O12:Eu3+ with high effective atomic number were grown by liquid phase epitaxy method. Excitation and emission spectra of Lu3(Ga,In)5O12:Eu3+ epitaxial films were studied under UV and X-ray excitations. The photo- and X-ray luminescence spectra of Eu3+ ions in Lu3(Ga,In)5O12:Eu3+ are characteristic to the f→f transition in the Eu3+ ions that occupied dodecahedral sites in the garnet structure. The ratio of the bands intensities in luminescence spectra under different types of excitation was determined.

The polymer-silica nanocomposites of the system HEMA - TEOS HEMA - TEOS体系的聚合物-二氧化硅纳米复合材料

Hybrid organic-inorganic composites (HOIC) on the basis of 2-hydroxyethylmethacrylates (HEMA) - tetraethoxysilane (TEOS) were obtained by the methods of sol-gel synthesis and photoinitiated polymerization in a wide range of the composition system changes. The kinetics of photoinitiated polymerization of the obtained composites depending on time of gelation has been studied. The influence of the HOIC composition on their thermomechanical properties and parameters of their molecular structure was investigated.

Luminescent and scintillation characteristics of RE(NbxTa1−x)O4 compounds (RE=Y or Gd) RE(NbxTa1−x)O4化合物(RE=Y或Gd)的发光和闪烁特性

Samples of undoped yttrium and gadolinium tantalo-niobates with common formulae RE(NbxTa1-x)O4, where RE = Y or Gd, and x = 0-1, have been obtained by solid-state reaction. Optical and luminescent characteristics in visible and UV spectral regions have been studied. The most intense luminescence is determined for yttrium tantalo-niobates with intermediate value of Nb content in the matrix and for heavy Nb - doped gadolinium tantalo-niobates.

Substitution of holmium by cadmium in the monoclinic compound Ho2MoO6 leads to the formation of cubic phase with fluorite-related structure. Series Ho2-xCdxMoO6-x/2 has been investigated by XRD (with structure refinement) and scanning electron microscopy.

Piezoelectric changes of anisotropy and magnetization in ferrite-garnet film 铁氧体-石榴石薄膜各向异性和磁化的压电变化

The results of the effect of mechanical strain on magnetic anisotropy, the direction of magnetization vector and domain structure of ferrite-garnet film, rigidly connected with the zirconium-titanium lead (PZT) piezoceramic plate are presented. Since such a sandwich structure could be remagnetized both by magnetic field and electric voltage it could be used as the electro-magnetooptical modulator of light or spin switching cell in spintronics.
