Social media became such a way where people could share easily about themselves, like continuously refreshing network and enabling multiple communication. At the same time people sharing instant photos and videos led to real life transforming to virtual. That transformation exposed at sport sector so as especially professional sportmen begin to address their fans and communicate with social media. In this context our study aimed to examine how strategies elite sportmen from different branches follow while self-marketing on social media. Two popular and also active twitter users sportmen from each football, basketball, tennis, american football, baseball and golf branches participated to the study. In our study content analysis method from qualitative research methodologies used for examining twitter accounts. Tweets of sportmen from the years 2019 and 2018 examined with references of Pegoraro’s (2010) study which are “relating to personal life, relating to business life, relating to their sport, other sport or athlete reference, responding to fans, pop culture or landmark reference”. According to the results of 12 months research showed that Ronaldo raised his follows and became first with 8M, though Ian Paulter lost 100K follows during this time. While tweet champs were footballers with 110 tweets in 2018, in 2019 the basketballers took top with 117 tweets. Comparison of 2019 vs 2018 twitterers concluded that Lebron James is the champ of both. Keywords: elite sportmen, self marketing, social media. DOI: 10.7176/JSTR/7-01-02

The use of Web 2.0 tools, which have been developed based on the point the technology has reached today, in creative writing studies is gaining importance. In this study, it was aimed to determine the effect of writing activities using web 2.0 (Voki, Storybird, Little Bird, Story Book) tools on fourth grade students' writing attitudes and writing skills. In line with the research problems, quantitative research methods, pre-test and post-test, single-group quasi-experimental design were used in the research. The sample of the research consists of 28 students studying in the 4th grade in the district of Askale in Erzurum province in the 2019-2020 academic year. The sample group was formed by purposeful sampling method. The Attitude Towards Writing Scale (YAYTO, 2009) and the Evaluation Criteria Form (YIDOF, 2011) were used as data collection tools by Susar Kirmizi (2009), which aims to determine the attitudes of 4th and 5th grade students towards writing. According to the pre-test and post-test t-test results of the data collected in the research, it was determined that the creative writing activities using the web 2 tools positively affected the writing attitudes of 4th grade students (p> 0.05). In creative writing skills of the students, it was found that the mean of creative writing pre-test scores was 51.96, the mean of post-test scores was 72.28, and according to the results of the T-test, the pre-test and post-test scores differ significantly from each other (t27 = -7.46 and p <0,05). As a result, it has been revealed that activities performed with web 2.0 tools positively affect the writing attitudes and creative writing skills of 4th grade students.

This study presents the production of pure and different amounts of Ni-doped (4, 8, 12%) ZnS films on microscope glass substrate at 400 5°C substrate temperature with Ultrasonic Spray Pyrolysis Technique and the effect of Ni doping on some physical properties of pure films. X-ray diffractometer (XRD), UV-Vis spectrophotometer, two-probe method and atomic force microscope (AFM) were used to analyze the structural, optical, electrical and surface properties of all films, respectively. XRD patterns contains broad peaks showing a low crystallinity level for the films. Ni doping caused ZnS films to have high absorbance values through the visible spectrum. Optical band gap energy values of ZnS:Ni thin films were determined to be between 3.71-3.96 eV. Two-probe measurements revealed that the electrical conductivity values of ZnS films increased significantly depending on the Ni doping. AFM results showed that the films have an almost homogeneous distribution with a rough surface. No significant change was observed for the surface properties of the films due to the Ni doping. As a result of all analyzes; it was seen that Ni doping has an important effect on the optical and electrical properties of ZnS films, without modifying the crystalline structure or surface texture.

Urban open-green spaces are for cities; these are areas that make significant contributions to ecological, social, cultural, economic, and psychological issues. Because of the expanding of urban areas with the increasing population, all city dwellers need open-green spaces. The increase in the quality of urban life depends on the preservation of the existing open-green spaces in the cities and the increase of open-green spaces in parallel with the increase in the density of buildings. Here, unlike the open-increasing population and unplanned urbanization nature and green spaces in cities in Turkey decreased in quantity; Such important areas for cities and city dwellers are almost in danger of extinction. The purpose of this research is; determining the adequacy of open-green spaces per capita in the city of Nazilli (Aydin), and making suggestions for the development of open-green spaces in the neighborhood and city scale. In the research, 51 parks in 19 neighborhoods were examined. As a result of the research; It has been determined that there are imbalances in terms of numerical, spatial and per capita size in the distribution of open-green spaces among the neighborhoods in the city of Nazilli. It can be said that the reason for the unbalanced distribution of open-green spaces is that these areas are planned without taking into account the population of the neighborhood, surface measurements and population densities. In Kurtulus, Turan and Yesilyurt Neighborhoods, where there are no open-green spaces, open-green spaces should be planned. In neighborhoods where the open-green space standard per capita (10 m 2 ) is not met, the open-green spaces should be increased numerically and spatially. Ensuring the adequacy of open green space per capita in all provinces and the city of Nazilli in Turkey; it will make cities more livable and increase the quality of life in cities.

Although petroleum-based packaging materials are widely used in food technology, the alternative materials can be considered due to the environmental concerns and changes in petroleum prices. Biobased polymers, which seems as one of these solutions, could not reach the desired level because of their low mechanical and barrier properties. Therefore, biobased active components can be added to these polymers to ensure the desired properties of films. In addition, these active components can extend the shelf life of the packaged foods. In this review, the use of biobased active components in biobased polymers are summarized.

The proposed new definition emphasizes the importance of the social sustainability dimension together with the strategic dimension of digital transformation.
