The purpose of this research is to describe the meaning of jihad in the perspective of the mufassirs, so that this jihad can be interpreted for the Muslim community not only in the form of fighting with physical combat and weapons, but has a deeper meaning than that. This research is a literature study (library research) by collecting data on primary and secondary sources related to the research theme. The results of this study can be concluded, that radical in substance and associated with the content of jihad contextually, the meaning of radicals who use terror activities. Terror can be interpreted as curbing da'wah and not broadcasting da'wah and Islamic law, on the basis that the strength of a Muslim's da'wah rests on the strength of faith, so that in its activities it shows the behaviour of believers to encourage amar ma'ruf and eliminate evil in a ma'ruf manner as well. Therefore, jihad in faith is a condition and situation in which a person will continuously preach in a ma'ruf manner until the evil disappears with the awareness of the perpetrators. Meanwhile, treasure jihad is the spirit of sacrifice in building Islamic law; building mosques in isolated places, donating property to the poor so that they can survive, and other things that require material in building the spread of Islam.

Pranayama is a Yogic technique which ensure homeostasis between physical and mental health. Bhramari is one of the 8 types of Pranayama as explained by Sage Patanjali which is considered to be effective in maintaining mental health. The following article discusses the probable use of Bhramari in Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD). Various publications from Pubmed, Google Scholar, Scopus etc were reviewed to reinforce the hypothesis that Bhramari can be effective in GAD. It is worthwhile known that Bhramari is effective in various stressful conditions but its efficacy against GAD is not yet proven. Since GAD is one of the most common mental disorders, it is hypothesised that Bhramari acts good against GAD too. Hence, it can be concluded that it would be beneficial to conduct larger studies on GAD patients to ascertain the efficacy of Bhramari in their population.

The ancient system of Indian medical science Ayurveda describes various concepts related to physiological functioning and biological response. Agni is considered responsible for the digestive & metabolic functioning of the body. The digestion & assimilation of ingested food performed by the Agni which is very essential process for the growth and development of human body. Ayurveda emphasizes that all the diseases are the result of the weak state of Agni i.e. Mandagni. Improper functioning of Agni leads to various gastrointestinal disorders as well as various metabolic disturbances. Agni offers Arogya, Ayu, Bala, Swasthyam, Varnam, Utsaha, Ojha, Prabha,& Teja to the body which all resembles a healthy physical and mental state. Agni Dusthi is one of the causative factors for many diseases, therefore, Agni play important role towards understanding of disease pathogenesis, disease diagnosis, & setting of the treatment protocol. Amlapitta is a disease which is commonly found in almost all parts of the world. Peculiarities of this disease are, increased prevalence, vast field of manifestation of symptoms, requires prolonged dietetic control, if not treated in proper time, it may create major problems. Amlapitta is one of the commonest Vyadhi of Annavaha Strotas, caused by vitiated Agni. Amlapitta is a condition where Amla Guna of Pachak Pitta increases due to Samata. The main principle of treatment of all diseases as per Ayurveda is to restore and to strengthen the Agni. This article emphasized the conceptual understanding of Agni & its role in the pathogenesis of Amlapitta Vyadhi.

Background- Desha Pariksha (examination) has been mentioned in the Charaka Samhita (cha.vi.8/84) which is considered as the oldest and the most authentic treatise of Ayurveda. Ayurveda has described three types of Desha viz. Jangl , Anup and Sadharan. Desha also known as Bhumi refers to the natural inhabitant of an individual. Desha is one of the factors which have to be assessed in ascertaining the Hetu (etiological factors) and also in deciding the treatment. Climate, diseases, food, treatment and so many factors may vary according to desh (habitat). An attempt has been made to critically analyse the konkan region of the state Maharashtra considering present climate conditions and geography in comparison to the concept of Ayurvedic desha description. Methods- Authentic government web portals of this region have been visited to know the present climatic situations. Various research papers were also reviewed to discern the territory from other parts of the state. Conclusion- After scrutinizing the facts over the past few years; it has been found that most of the regions of konkan fall under excess rainfall terrain. Flora and fauna is similar to that of wetland. The Konkan region of the Maharashtra State can be compared with Anup desha in Ayurveda.

The results of evaluation program by The Way Kanan Health Department in late 2013 shows 47 cases of death among toddlers, 7 cases of malnutrition, 2 cases of paralysis with withered body. This might have been an indication of the presence of under-performing servants in health care units. Two of the many factors influencing their performance are leadership and motivation. This study aims to analyse the influence of servant leadership and motivation on the general performance of a health care unit in Way Kanan Regency, Lampung, Indonesia. Cross sectional approach and survey analysis method were used. 122 officers of Baradatu Health Care Unit and Pisang Baru Health Care Unit 122 people were taken as the population. The result shows significant relationship between servant leadership and motivation to the performance (p <0.05). The servant leadership variable has got the greatest influence on the accuracy of clinical decision making than the professional knowledge and behaviour with OR = 4,476. It is suggested that the District Health Office of Way Kanan Regency create: a model of servant leadership as an alternative to the existing leadership models, tighten the control on the program, and conduct more training to improve the quality of human resources and their performance at the health care units.

In feature level fusion, biometric features must be combined such that each trait is combined so as to maintain feature-balance. To achieve this, Modified Clonal Selection Algorithm was employed for feature level fusion of Face, Iris and Fingerprints. Modified Clonal Selection Algorithm (MCSA) which is characterized by feature-balance maintenance capability and low computational complexity was developed and implemented for feature level fusion. The standard Tournament Selection Method (TSM) was modified by performing tournaments among neighbours rather than by random selection to reduce the between-group selection pressure associated with the standard TSM. Clonal Selection algorithm was formulated by incorporating the Modified Tournament Selection Method (MTSM) into its selection phase. Quantitative experimental results showed that the systems fused with MCSA has a higher recognition accuracy than those fused with CSA, also with a lower recognition time.

Colorectal cancer was infrequently diagnosed several decades ago. Nowadays, it is the world's fourth most deadly cancer with almost 900,000 deaths annually. Colorectal cancer had a low incidence several decades ago. However, it has become predominant cancer and now accounts for approximately 10% of cancer-related mortality in western countries. The ‘rise’ of colorectal cancer in developed countries can be attributed to the increasingly aging population, unfavorable modern dietary habits and an increase in risk factors such as smoking, low physical exercise and obesity. New treatments for primary and metastatic colorectal cancer have emerged, providing additional options for patients; these treatments include laparoscopic surgery for primary disease, more aggressive resection of metastatic disease (such as liver and pulmonary metastases), radiotherapy for rectal cancer and neoadjuvant and palliative chemotherapies. However, these new treatment options have had a limited impact on cure rates and long-term survival.
