The aerodynamic study of State Transport Bus minimizes road accidents and fuel consumption. The increasing fuel prices has made private transportation uneconomical. The Vehicle utilizes around 40% of available engine power to overcome the drag resistance. Drag coefficient can be reduced by streamlining the surface, modifying the outer structure of bus, roof optimization, etc. considering ergonomics and aesthetics. Drag resistance can be reduced by reducing drag coefficient. Exterior design of city bus is poor considering aerodynamic aspect. The objective of this paper is to optimize state bus and use Computational Fluid Dynamics to calculate drag coefficient which will eventually reduce the fuel consumption of vehicle. For this 3D CAD (SOLIDWORKS) model of Maharashtra State Transport bus is prepared and optimized considering standard parameters and drag coefficient is calculated using CFD software ANSYS 2021 R1 (FLUENT). The drag coefficient has reduced from 0.9 to 0.6 Around 33 % reduction in drag coefficient is achieved. Due to which the fuel economy is reduced by 26%. The turbulent model standard k-eplison is used for better approximation of results.

- This research explored Homicide-Suicide (H-S) among Kenya National Police Service (KNPS) officers, with a focus on Kenya Police Service (KPS), Administration Police Service (APS), and Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI). Despite a rise in incidents, research on this phenomenon was scarce in Kenya. The study investigated occupational, organizational, personal, and economic factors influencing H-S, drawing from Freud's Psychoanalytic Theory and Durkheim's Theory of Suicides. Using a mixed-method design, 328 KNPS officers, including KPS, APS, and DCI, participated, alongside key stakeholders. Data collection included questionnaires and interviews, resulting in a response rate of 75.6%, with 136 completed questionnaires. In the analysis of personal stressors, the study scrutinized mental health conditions, traumatic events, and relationship issues. Participants experienced mental health symptoms due to personal stressors, impacting well-being. Limited professional help-seeking was noted, possibly due to stigma. Dissatisfaction with organizational support was observed. Traumatic event exposure affected mental well-being, with organizational support playing a role. Coping with relationship problems was complex. The analysis of occupational stressors focused on critical incidents, workload, and job-related pressure. Many officers encountered critical incidents, impacting well-being. Organizational support for coping was perceived as insufficient. High workload affected stress levels

- The study investigates that in the era of digital transformation, marketing communications, driven by the use of digital platforms have enhanced the visibility of the brand, engaged customers and promoted the Sustainable Development Goals properly too. To analyze the effectiveness of the communication channels, the ANOVA method was used, which helped in drawing relevant information required for the marketing purposes. This tool compared the variances across different groups, thus, evaluating how to shape or influence the behaviors of consumers. Based on the study, promotions are integral to marketing communications, and thus, offering discounts, coupons, offers, gifts and other benefits influenced the business’ outreach, while even allowing the social networks to expand its reach and functionality too. The Pehlevi's bibliometric analysis was also found to be effective for identifying the trends such as the integration of marketing communications with the customer relationship management. The marketing communication strategies were though tailored to evaluate the diverse consumer demographics, and understanding their preferences, based on which the pricing and distribution strategies were implemented. The resulting data were based on the comparison of marketing communication tools or the age groups of individuals. Based on the use of ANOVA method and other tools, the results showed that the consumers in between the age of 18 to 34 years were more diverted towards online promotions and marketing managed by the companies, while the older people prioritized on point-of-sale advertising and their preferences, based on their ages. Though the preferences differ, the online marketing and promotions helped in engaging people from diverse backgrounds and thus, engaged everyone, be it young or old people. Furthermore, it helped in gaining information on the consumer behaviors and based on that, various marketing strategies were implemented to influence the purchasing decisions effectively.

- The research study provided a comprehensive knowledge on the impact of apparent value on the satisfaction of customers. It focused on how the digital marketing influenced both the consumers as well as the marketers of the businesses. The shift towards digital marketing resulted in the use of search engine marketing, search engine optimization, content marketing, ecommerce marketing, and others. The current Information technology market is approximately $5 trillion, due to which, the key components of digital marketing focused on by the businesses include the search engine marketing to improve website visibility, use of email marketing, social media marketing, affiliate marketing, etc. When compared between the traditional and digital marketing, it was found that while the traditional marketing included using conventional channels or media, the digital marketing focused on using internet, smartphones, display advertisements, etc. The digital marketing tactics were much faster, less expensive, could be customized, and measured on a daily basis to check the web traffic. Another major advantage of the digital marketing tactics is the global reach, which allows the businesses to reach out to the global markets quite conveniently. The social media marketing could easily make content viral through social sharing, while using web analytics could help to measure the effectiveness of the digital marketing campaigns effectively. It also helps to personalize or customize the marketing efforts, which could increase the engagement level as well as improve customer loyalty. However, there were disadvantages as well such as the security concerns, high competition within the market as most companies use the

: The weather systems that predominantly affect the north-eastern parts of India during the pre-monsoon summer months (March-May) are severe thunderstorms, locally named as ‘Kalbaishakhi’ or ‘Nor’westers’. The storms are devastating in nature particularly due to strong (gusty) winds, heavy rains and hails associated with it. Although these storms are well known for its power of causing damages, studies on them are relatively few due to their small size and sparse network of observations over the region. In this paper an attempt has been made to analyse different stability indices like Showalter index, Lifted index , K index, Severe Weather Threat index, Total Totals index, Equivalent potential temperature at 850hPa level, Dew point temperature at 850hPa level, Relative humidity at 700hPa level, Humidity index and Deep Convective index in connection with occurrence of thunderstorm over three stations over North East India viz.,Agartala (23.88 0 N, 91.25 0 E), Dibrugarh(27.47° N, 94.91°E) and Guwahati (26.10 0 N, 91.58 0 E) for the year 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 during pre-monsoon summer months (March-May) using 0000 UTC radiosonde data to review and evaluate the atmospheric instabilities that may lead to thunderstorm development. Favourable ranges of these indices for occurrence of thunderstorms over the three selected stations of the region have been determined. Validation of the suggested favourable ranges of indices was also carried out on the days of thunderstorm activity for the year 2018.

: This research is aimed at examining the temporal behavior of swash and backwash on shorelines in some selected settlements in Bayelsa State in order to promote a better understanding of the causes and impact of shoreline changes on settlements along the coast. To achieve this aim therefore, the study examined the shorelines of three settlements, Agge, Koluama2 and Okpoama situated along the coastline with respect to determining the impact of the temporal behavior of swash and backwash waves on on the shore. The study utilized the instrument of stop watch to carry out in-situ measurements of wave break rate at the shore. Furthermore, Pearson correlation was used to test whether the temporal behavior of backwash is significantly related to shoreline changes in the study area. The results show that erosion is the dominant event in all the three settlements. The result further revealed a progressive increase of wave break rate from the month of April to July and becomes regressive from the month of August to December. This high rate of wave breaks in the month of April to August is as a result of the influence of the tropical maritime air mass which occurs within the period of June and July. The study also reveal that the occurrences or factors that contributes to coastal erosion in the different settlements might be the same or similar. The study recommended amongst others the execution of coastal zone management for the region.
