Surface Plasmon Plastic Optical Fiber Resonance with Multi-Layer as Chemical Sensor 多层表面等离子体塑料光纤共振用作化学传感器

A chemical optical fiber sensor based on surface plasmon resonance (SPR) was developed and implemented using multimode plastic optical fiber. The sensor is used to detect and measure the refractive index and concentration of various chemical materials (Urea, Ammonia, Formaldehyde and Sulfuric acid) as well as to evaluate the performance parameters such as sensitivity, signal to noise ratio, resolution and figure of merit. It  was noticed that the value of the sensitivity of the optical fiber-based SPR sensor, with 60nm and 10 mm long, Aluminum(Al) and Gold (Au) metals film exposed sensing region, was 4.4 μm, while the SNR was 0.20, figure of merit was 20 and resolution 0.00045. In this work a multimode plastic optical fiber with a core diameter of 980 μm, fluorinated polymer cladding of 20 μm and a numerical aperture of 0.51 was used.

the Synthesis of Cinnamon Nanoparticles by Using Laser Ablation Technique 激光烧蚀法制备肉桂纳米颗粒

    The natural  polyphenolic  compound that cinnamon contains is well known for its various biological activities, a broad variety of pharmacological and therapeutic properties.  Diversified biomedical and pharmacological applications benefit from organic nanoparticles with controlled properties. Bioactive and non-toxic, cinnamon nanoparticles (CNPs) can be effective antibacterial agents. Driven by this idea, we prepared spherical CNPs using liquid (PLAL) pulse laser ablation technique and defined those NPs. Using Q-switched Nd : YAG With a wavelength of 1064 nm  pulse laser of constant energy 500 mj , And different laser pulses ( 250 , 500 , 750 , 1000 ) pulse /sec a pure cinnamon target submerged in liquid ethanol (5 mL) was ablated. The results on the composition, morphology and optical properties of as-grown CNPs of differing laser fluence were determined. Samples were described through  Fe-SEM , UV-Vis , FTIR , The synergy between ethanol as liquid growth media and fundamental laser wavelength has been due to certain distinctive characteristics of CNPs. It has been developed that the spherical CNPs achieved in the suspension of ethanol could be beneficial for antioxidant purposes.

Influence of Laser Energy on the Structural and Optical Properties of (CdO):(CoO) Thin Films Produced by Laser-Induced Plasma (LIP) 激光能量对激光诱导等离子体(LIP)制备(CdO):(CoO)薄膜结构和光学性能的影响

In this work, (CdO)1-x (CoO)x thin films were prepared on glass slides by laser-induced plasma using Nd:YAG laser with (λ=1064 nm) and duration (9 ns) at different laser energies (200-500 mJ) with ratio (x=0.5), The influence of laser energy on structural and optical properties has been studied. XRD patterns show the films have a structure of polycrystalline wurtzite. As for AFM tests results for the topography of the surface of the film, where the results showed that the grain size and the average roughness increase with increasing laser energy. The optical properties of all films were also studied and the results showed that the absorption coefficient for within the wavelength range (280-1100 nm), The value of the optical power gap for direct transitions was shown to be reduced by increasing laser energy within the range (4.29-3.7 eV).
本文利用波长为(λ=1064 nm)、持续时间为(9 ns)的Nd:YAG激光器,在不同的激光能量(200-500 mJ)和激光比(x=0.5)下,用激光诱导等离子体在玻片上制备了(CdO)1-x (CoO)x薄膜,研究了激光能量对薄膜结构和光学性能的影响。XRD谱图显示膜具有多晶纤锌矿结构。薄膜表面形貌的AFM测试结果表明,随着激光能量的增加,薄膜的晶粒尺寸和平均粗糙度增大。结果表明:在280 ~ 1100 nm波长范围内,薄膜的吸收系数和直接跃迁的光功率间隙值随着激光能量的增加而减小。

Study of the Nuclear Structure of some Neutron Rich Si Isotopes Using Shell Model with Skyrme Interaction 利用Skyrme相互作用的壳层模型研究某些富中子Si同位素的核结构

Abstract       The nuclear structure of 28-40Si isotopes toward neutron dripline has been investigated in framework of shell model with Skyrme-Hrtree-Fock method using certain Skyrme parameterizations. Moreover, investigations of static properties such as nuclear densities for proton, neutron, mass, and, charge densities with their corresponding rms radii, neutron skin thicknesses, binding energies, separation energies, shell gap, and pairing gap have been performed using the most recent Skyrme parameterization. The calculated results have been compared with available experimental data to identify which of these parameterizations introduced equivalent results with the experimental data. For all dynamic properties, sdpf shell model space has been used to generate one body transition density matrix element with SDPFK two body effective interaction. The calculations also reproduced the low and higher-laying 2+ energy level scheme, and reduced transition probability B(E2) for even Si-isotopes.

Wettability, Thermal Stability, and Antibacterial Properties of Polycaprolactone /ZnO Nanocomposites in Packaging 包装中聚己内酯/ZnO纳米复合材料的润湿性、热稳定性和抗菌性能

Polycaprolactone is one of the natural biodegradable polymers mainly used in bioplastics production for packaging, usually composed of non-toxic compounds and biodegradable. The aim was to examine the role of zinc oxide (ZnO) nanopowder on the,wettability , thermal and anti-bacterial effect nanocomposites.  Pure PCL and PCL-based bio- nanocomposites doped with various ratios of ZnO nanoparticles from 0% to 5wt% were prepared through the arrangement of throwing procedure.  The results show that wettability properties in relation to ideal PCL and that they were increasingly hydrophobic from 57º.8 to 69º.53 because add ZnO  nanocomposites,the thermal stability between 300 and 400 ° C makes them perfect for the application of food packaging application. Also, anti-bacterial screening against Gram-positive and Gram-negative microorganisms, which was highly variable and evident in comrades, was compared with PCL.

Study The Influence of Doping Electric and Magnetic Nanoparticles on The Nonlinear Optical Properties of Nematic Liquid Crystals 掺杂电磁性纳米粒子对向列液晶非线性光学性质影响的研究

The nonlinear optical properties response of nematic liquid crystal (6CHBT) and the impact of doping with two kinds of nanoparticles; Fe3O4 magnetic nanoparticles and SbSI ferroelectric nanoparticles have been studied using the non-linear dynamic method through z-scan measurement technique. This was achieved utilizing CW He-Ne laser. The pure LC and magnetic LC nanoparticle composite samples had a maximum absorption while the ferroelectric LC nanoparticle composite had a minimum absorption of the incident light. The nonlinear refractive index was positive for the pure LC and the rod-like ferronematic LC composite samples, while it was negative for the ferroelectric LC composite. The studying of the nonlinear optical properties of these types of liquid will be very helpful in the field of liquid crystal applications like display screen and spatial light modulators.

Biosynthesis of silver nanoparticles using Thyme Vulgaris leaves extract and its Antibacterial activity 百里香叶提取物生物合成纳米银及其抗菌活性研究

In the current research, an eco-biosynthesis method for synthesizing silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) is reported using thymus vulgaris leaves (T. vulgaris) extracts. The optical and structural properties of the nanoparticles is determined using UV-visible, x-ray diffraction (XRD) and field emission scanning electron microscope (FESEM). In addition, the synthesis factors such as the temperature, the molar ratio of silver nitride and thymus vulgaris leaves extract have been investigated. The XRD pattern presented higher intensity for the five characteristic peaks of silver. FESEM images for same samples indicated that the particle size was distributed between 24-56 nm. In addition, it’s observed the formation of some aggregated Ag particles which is expected due to the precipitation effect. The mixtures were used to inhibit two kinds of bacteria which are Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus by tested for antibacterial activity by agar well diffusion method.The results show the effectiveness of the synthesized AgNPs on inhabitation the growing up of the bacteria and their isolates. Where the AgNPs which synthesised with volumetric ratio of 1:10 show a higher inhibition efficiency for different concentration of the bacteria under the investigating.

Obaid","doi":"10.30723/ijp.v18i46.559","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.30723/ijp.v18i46.559","url":null,"abstract":"In the current research, an eco-biosynthesis method for synthesizing silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) is reported using thymus vulgaris leaves (T. vulgaris) extracts. The optical and structural properties of the nanoparticles is determined using UV-visible, x-ray diffraction (XRD) and field emission scanning electron microscope (FESEM). In addition, the synthesis factors such as the temperature, the molar ratio of silver nitride and thymus vulgaris leaves extract have been investigated. The XRD pattern presented higher intensity for the five characteristic peaks of silver. FESEM images for same samples indicated that the particle size was distributed between 24-56 nm. In addition, it’s observed the formation of some aggregated Ag particles which is expected due to the precipitation effect. The mixtures were used to inhibit two kinds of bacteria which are Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus by tested for antibacterial activity by agar well diffusion method.The results show the effectiveness of the synthesized AgNPs on inhabitation the growing up of the bacteria and their isolates. Theoretical Model for Spectroscopic Study of Cu+2, Co+2, and Fe+3 Dissolved in Ethanol with A Different Concentrations 不同浓度乙醇中Cu+2、Co+2和Fe+3的光谱研究理论模型

The absorption spectrum for three types of metal ions in different concentrations has been studying experimentally and theoretically. The examination model is by Gaius model in order to find the best fitting curve and the equation controlled with this behavior. The three metal ions are (Copper chloride Cu+2, Iron chloride Fe+3, and Cobalt chloride Co+2) with different concentrations (10-4, 10-5, 10-6, 10-7) gm/m3. The spectroscopic study included UV-visible and fluorescence spectrum for all different concentrations sample. The results refer to several peaks that appear from the absorption spectrum in the high concentration of all metal ions solution. The multiple absorption peaks continued even at the lowest concentration in the iron ion solution. Fluorescence spectrum shows intensive stimulating of the radiation strength was perceived in the manifestation of Cu+2, Co+2 and Fe+3. From modeling investigation, there are converge between experimental and theoretical results of the fluorescence spectrum for metal ions. Furthermore, identity and convergence which defined as (r2), are on average (0.995).

Optimum diameter for laser beam and effect of temperature rise on the optical bistability hysteresis loops 激光光束的最佳直径及温升对光双稳磁滞回线的影响

 In this research, analytical study for simulating a Fabry-Perot bistable etalon (F-P cavity) filled with a dispersive optimized nonlinear optical material (Kerr type) such as semiconductors Indium Antimonide (InSb). An optimization procedure using reflective (~85%) InSb etalon (~50µm) thick is described. For this etalon with a (50 µm) spot diameter beam, the minimum switching power is (~0.078 mW) and switching time is (~150 ns), leading to a switching energy of (~11.77 pJ) for this device. Also, the main role played by the temperature to change the etalon characteristic from nonlinear to linear dynamics.

A Calculation real abundance of gaseous elements of the comet PanSTARRS C/2011 S4 PanSTARRS C/2011 S4彗星气体元素真实丰度的计算

    X-ray emission contains some of the gaseous properties is produced when the particles of the solar wind strike the atmosphere of comet ISON and PanSTARRS Comets. The data collected with NASA Chandra X-ray Observatory of the two comets, C/2012 S1 (also known as Comet ISON) and C/2011 S4 (Comet PanSTARRS) are used in this study.    The real abundance of the observed X-ray spectrum elements has been extracted by a new simple mathematic model. The study found some physical properties of these elements in the comet’s gas such as a relationship between the abundance with emitted energy. The elements that have emission energy (2500-6800) eV, have abundance (0.1-0.15) %, while the elements that have emission energy (850-2500) eV and (6800-9250) eV have abundance (0.2-0.3) %.    The relation between interacted energy and atomic number is form two sets.  The interacted energy of each element is increased as the atomic number increased. This case has been seen in both comets
