Based on an understanding and analysis of the complexity of a financial system and the chaotic features of its evolution, we focus upon how chaotic rules impact on financial innovation in the perspective of chaotic economic theory. A chaotic model of the cumulative effect of financial innovation is set up to study the factors affecting the cumulative effect of financial innovation. These include the impetus for innovation within the financial system itself, the pulling force of economic growth, regulation, and the factors that also slow down financial evolution. All of these influences are dictated by chaotic rules. Our approach should provide both deeper understanding and a wider basis for a regulatory authority to apply control in financial innovation.

This paper investigates the routing problem of a patrolling unit in a distributed service network. The objective is to determine an optimal routing so that response time to service call in a distributed network can be optimized. A node-arc network is presented to model problem with nodes representing the location of clients while arcs length the travel time between nodes. Applying an analysis on the expected maximum response times on each arc to all nodes, we re-model the problem into a new node-arc network with arc lengths are measured in expected maximum response time. A mathematical model is then applied to select the best route minimizing the expected maximum response time of the whole system. The mathematical model can be easily formulated and implemented in commonly available package.

Due to the diversified , effective service and the random development of the logistics center operation, a method of precise working-area layout planning (PWLP) is introduced through analyzing the limitations of the traditional method of systematic layout planning (SLP) .In analyzing the relativity of the working areas, the concept of "Integrated logistics relationship " and the method of its calculation is advanced through qualitatively and quantitatively analyzing both the logistics and non-logistics factors, perfecting the traditional layout method and thus rationalizing the working area layout planning. A working area layout model together with its calculation method is developed which is proved applicable through experiment.

In this paper, we address the problem of reasonably arranging the streaming data rate so as to exploit better efficiency of the multimedia services in a workflow. We first focus on the fundamental models, sequence model and parallel model, to cover the essence of the problem. Other types of models could then be deduced by compositions of these two models. Based on the queuing theory, we get the video streaming data rate prediction model. Our evaluations show that this model could predict multimedia streaming data rate very well. This work is important because with this prediction, better allocation of system resource can be done.

Technological innovation was essentially to create new knowledge. And knowledge transfer was the driving force of new knowledge creation. This paper summed up six important factors influencing knowledge transfer within R&D unit from the perspective of knowledge transfer infrastructure, including tacitness knowledge, transfer willingness, transfer ability, trust, knowledge distance, and absorptive capability. It showed that a certain differences existed under different contexts through data analysis based on 127 survey samples, which could provide implications for technological innovation improvement.

With the rapid development of IT (information technology) service industry, the number of customers, contents and complexity of IT service are constantly increasing, which leads to the rapidly rise of the cost of the IT service, and how to calculate the cost of IT cost becomes an very important problem. The paper tries to analyze and research on the cost accounting of IT service based on ABC(activity-based costing), and builds cost accounting method of IT service based on ABC, and then makes different charging strategies according to different types of customers.

Exploring the antecedents of the customers' behavior is an interesting and important field of marketing theory. Satisfaction and alternative attractiveness are crucial antecedents of customer's switching behavior. In mobile telecommunication industry, a new antecedent - network effect is introduced to explain the customers' switching behavior. Through the survey of 368 mobile users of Xi'an city, a structural equation model was performed to check the model. The result shows that the network effect is negatively associated with switching intention.

This paper applies the spatial econometric model to examine the relationship between power consumption and real GDP for China. Our estimation results indicate that the regional economics development level is influenced not only by "home" power consumption and economy but also the neighboring energy consumption. In order to keep the remarkable growth of China economy, the government should speed up the nation-wide interconnection of power networks and upgrade interregional distribution grids.

System dynamics have over the years proven its usefulness in corporate strategy forming. The purpose of the paper is to investigate, how system dynamics modeling can be supportive for strategy implementation of service innovation in organizations. In order to do so, we briefly discuss the problem about strategy implementation of service innovation and propose methodology based on the quantitative model for service innovation strategy (QMSIS). Besides conceptual considerations, we base our arguments on a detailed case study from an auto financing company. Findings of this paper are that system dynamics modeling can be helpful for strategy implementation in regards to both strategy refinement and transfer of insights and understanding underlying the innovation process. The originality of this paper lies in the proposition of the usage of system dynamics modeling in strategy implementation of new service development (NSD), where the field of system dynamics traditionally make use of flight simulators or qualitative system dynamics, rather than formal modeling and simulation.
