This research is motivated by the low level of student learning independence which results in unsatisfactory learning achievement. Therefore, it is necessary to develop innovative learning models in mathematics learning to increase student independence and learning achievement. The aim of this research is to describe the level of independence and achievement in learning mathematics on the topic of fractions using the Inquiry learning model. The subjects of this research were 29 fifth grade students. This research was carried out in two cycles, with two meetings in each cycle. Data is collected through teacher observation, student observation, and tests at the end of each cycle. The research results showed that the average value of learning outcomes increased from 57.85% in the pre-cycle to 65.18% in the first cycle, then increased again to 81% in the second cycle. The percentage of students' classical completeness also increased from 59.25% in the first cycle test to 88.20% in the second cycle final test, exceeding the classical completeness target set at 80%. Apart from that, the level of student learning independence also experienced a significant increase from 34.48% in cycle 1 to 86.20% in cycle 2. Thus, it can be concluded that the inquiry learning model is effective in increasing students' independence and mathematics learning achievement. fifth grade students at state elementary school 1 Kejobong.

National defense is a crucial aspect in maintaining the sovereignty, integrity and security of a country. This discussion reviews various aspects related to national defense, from concept to implementation in law and policy in Indonesia. The research method used is normative analysis of various legal documents and expert views related to national defense. The results of the discussion highlight the importance of integrating military and non-military defense in facing various developing threats. Inter-agency coordination, including through the National Defense Council, is considered crucial in formulating effective defense policies and strategies. In a political context, national defense is seen as the result of the political process and public policy. However, there is also the concept of legal politics which is the basis for determining the laws that apply in a country. In conclusion, national defense requires clear and structured regulations and the involvement of all elements of society to maintain stability and sustainability of defense. Continuous evaluation of the country's defense system is necessary to face the dynamics of ever-growing threats. National defense is an implementation of social contract theory which involves an agreement between citizens in society to protect their rights and obligations and ensure the harmony of interests. Every citizen has the right and obligation to participate in efforts to defend the country, both physically and non-physically, in accordance with the provisions of applicable law. Awareness of the importance of national defense, especially among the younger generation, needs to be increased to ensure their role in advancing the nation is optimal

Epistemological thinking of the Pancasila philosophy in the context of the development of science means whether elementary school students in Indonesia understand the theoretical values of Pancasila in a book. The aim of this research is to find out whether sixth grade elementary school students know the basic values of Pancasila. This type of research is qualitative. Qualitative research methods focus on interviewing other people in external and complex environments. (Moleong, 1999; Creswell, 2002, Lindloft, 1995), states that qualitative research methods are more inductive. This means that the research step that must be prioritized is data based on facts, symptoms, phenomena, reality which is the theme, then processed, processed, so that at the end of the research it can become a proposition, model or even theory. The solution to this problem is to have qualified teachers, provide socialization in the school, and practice the basic values of Pancasila, and not just verbally in Pancasila and citizenship education books.
