Obtaining library resources is the main task that carried out by students in attending lectures. The student learning experience will be achieved maximally if it is supported by complete library resources. The existence of strong development of information and communication technology makes everyone tend to seek information through the internet. For that reason, search engines are an easy way to get sufficient library resources. Many types of search engines are available, but which ones are effective and efficient are not studied in depth. Hence, it is necessary to research to find an effective search engine. In this study, three types of engines were taken from that were mostly used by the students, namely Microsoft Academic, Google Scholar, and ScienceDirect. A total of 134 doctoral program students were taken as research samples. The results showed that students used Google Scholar more in finding library sources, followed by ScienceDirect, and Microsoft Academic. There are differences in the advantages, disadvantages, and availability of information obtained through the three search engines.

The internet has created a digital society, where people from various circles can connect to each other and can be accessed easily. But despite being widely adopted, traditional networks are still widely implemented where these networks are complex and difficult to manage. Software Defined Network (SDN) offers a solution where managing a network becomes easier with the centralized controller. However, because of the ease of SDN in managing the network, SDN has a very worrying security gap where Attackers attack Controllers that are taken over by the network. By using a new attack method called Persona Hijacking that disrupts the identifier binding process, SDN will go through a testing process by comparing how long the Persona Hijacking attack will take time and how the impact of this attack using two scenarios. The first testing scenario combines DHCP with Controller and the second test scenario by separating DHCP and Controller. This study indicates that the second scenario produces a larger black-hole presentation, which is 66% and takes 10 seconds slower than the first scenario.

Web technology-based learning design competencies are essential for pre-service teachers, especially in the digital era. However, the exploration of the self-efficacy component of these skills has been little revealed. The purpose of this study was to describe the efficacy of pre-service physics teachers on the competence of Web Pedagogical Content Knowledge (WPACK), determine the relationship between the components of self-efficacy of pre-service physics teachers to these competencies, and map them out. A survey of 309 pre-service physics teachers from nine Indonesian universities was conducted. Descriptive statistics and the Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) modeling technique were used to evaluate the retrieved data. The results suggest that the pre-service physics teacher had a high level of WPACK component self-efficacy. Their WPACK self-efficacy components were also positively correlated, especially on the web pedagogical knowledge (WPK) and web pedagogical content knowledge (WPACK) components. This research implies that teacher candidates need to improve the basic competence of web knowledge to increase its integration into physics pedagogy and content.

Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) has recently become a growing trend due to the convenience, both in terms of features and flexible services. Therefore, this literature review aims to summarize four things: (1) the strategy for developing MOOCs in language learning, (2) student success factors in participating in MOOCs, (3) MOOC from the teacher's perspective, and (4) MOOC from the student's perspective. The methods include a literature review of available articles exploring the research topic, i.e., MOOCs in foreign language learning, which was performed by finding relevant studies in the international journal databases such as Elsevier, ERIC, Emerald Insight, Springer, etc. The results indicate that if MOOC designers are drawn from cultural backgrounds, they must also pay attention to unique elements. Moreover, teachers and students think that MOOCs have a good impact, particularly as a form of professional development for teachers. MOOCs offer a unique learning experience compared to traditional learning techniques. On the other hand, students stated that they still required the presence of an instructor during the MOOC learning process.
