The rapid development of communication technology of the Internet has given a rise to the transformative development of the financial industry. P2P online lending is one of the forms of online finance. It is a peer-to-peer funding and financing method, which has transformed the traditional funding and financing ways through the use of Internet. It has offered a convenient and fast online transaction platform for the public. This paper focus on two research questions: (1) what are the factors influencing the lending success rate of individual users on P2P online lending platform? (2) what are the factors depending the final interest rate of every transaction? This paper has gathered the personal lending history information of 100 users and detailed information lists of 80 success bids from PPDai.com, a P2P online lending platform. The results show that the number of accreditation and the borrowing credit have a most obvious impact on the lending success rate, while the lending credit has no obvious impact on it. The amount of lending, the borrowing credit rating, the number of accreditation and the lending success rate are key factors that influence the lending interest rate, whilst the time limit of lending has no obvious impact on the lending interest rate.

This study investigates the moderating effect of analyst coverage on the relationship between internal pay gap and company performance. Based on a sample of 2993 Chinese stated-owned listed enterprises from 2010 to 2014, we find that both executive pay gap and pay gap between executives and employees are positively related to company performance, which support the tournament theory. In addition, our results indicate that the positive effect of internal pay gap on company performance is stronger for companies with analyst coverage. Moreover, tournament incentives are weaker when there is greater forecast error or forecast dispersion.

There are a number of ranking systems to provide assessment services on higher education regionally, nationally, or internationally. Note that the subjective evaluation index and indicator inclusions and weights that are usually applied in current ranking systems. As a result, the question of the objectivity and impartiality of the provided rankings arises. One of our studies addressed these concerns by applying a quantitative and model-driven approach to acquiring the evaluation index and factor weights, which was successfully validated in the US News & World Report ranking system [1]. To extend our earlier study, this paper further shows a very interesting result by developing a real-time, scalable, and model-driven higher education ranking system with the support of big data technologies. This extended study reveals promising potential in enhancing varieties of applications across the service industry.

Leadership has become an important and hot researching field in the present. Based on social exchange and learning theory, we present the relationship between servant leadership, authoritarian leadership and group-level OCB, which is mediated by interactional justice climate and moderated by group power distance. Servant leadership has positive relationship with OCB mediated by interactional justice climate; on the contrary, authoritarian leadership has negative relationship. Furthermore, the positive relationship between servant leadership and interactional justice climate becomes weaker with high group power distance, while the negative relationship between authoritarian leadership and interactional justice climate becomes weaker with high group power distance. Implications and limitations were discussed in the end.

Zanoni and Zavanella [1] investigate the modelling of transfer batch size and energy effort in a cold chain. Due to the complexity of the objective function, they solve it numerically while considering temperature as a endogenous variable. We consider the same model and simplify the objective function by using Taylor series, and then we obtain the closed-form expression for the transfer batch size. Moreover, we also propose the way to approximate the optimal temperature. Numerical studies show that our approach is effective and efficient.

The paper is to explore how to satisfy customer-contact employees when they encounter their managers in the Chinese leisure industry. Adopted a qualitative approach, based on a case study of the Chinese golf industry, the research indicates internal service quality is constructed by nine dimensions in the four service situations, and develops a model of internal service quality construct during internal service encounters.

In reverse auction, if a buyer sets quality standard and punishes the suppliers whose product quality doesn't satisfy the quality standard, the low-quality suppliers will quit the bidding process. This will decrease the bidding competition among suppliers and lead to high procurement cost. In order to make bidding competition fierce, buyers often attract some low quality suppliers to enter the auction. However, it may bring the vicious price competition because secondary low-quality suppliers would have more cost advantages. Those suppliers have lower production costs, which are advantages in the bidding process, and may lead to the failure of the transaction, or even delay the construction period, bring the economy loss to the buyers because their product quality doesn't satisfy standards. In this paper, we study the problem how to maintain quality appropriately and to reduce the transaction price. By establishing the quality preset intervals and setting default payment mechanism to punish the low quality suppliers, we can appropriately select suppliers and expand the suppliers set attracting some sub-suppliers to enter the bidding process. Under this mechanism, suppliers' bidding strategies with the same distribution costs first decrease and then increase in default rate, suppliers with higher default rate will bid lower. In this way, low-quality suppliers with lower default rates and qualified suppliers will have similar strategies, which make the competition fierce. Moreover, buyers can set different quality punishment parameters or change the preset interval to meet the different preferences of purchasing managers.

This paper applies the sample of the Chinese listed companies during 2004 to 2010, and tests the effect of managerial power in executive compensation contracts by analyzing the relationship between managerial power and compensation levels. We find that managerial power not only has a significant positive effect on actual compensation, but also plays an important role in the behavior of getting excess compensation, so the effect of managerial power in China's capital market is confirmed. Further studies showed that corporate ownership has a significant moderating effect on the effect of managerial power. Specifically, the effect of managerial power in executive compensation contracts has different levels of existence both in the state-owned and private enterprises, but State-owned enterprises are more prominent. In the local state-owned enterprises, executives prefer to grab the monetary private benefits using their power, while in the central state-owned enterprises, executives prefer to grab perks and other non-monetary private benefits using their power.

The study on convertible bonds is beneficial to regulate the issuing and trading of convertible bonds, to protect the benefits of investors and issuing corporations, and to guarantee the healthy and orderly development of China's financial market. In this paper, an ∈-arbitrage approach to 21-ary tree is expanded, and designs of the Bank of China convertible bonds' additional provisions are present. And then analysis of these additional provisions is given based on Monte Carlo method. We found the ∈-arbitrage approach is suitable for China's financial market, for the error is just 0.384%. We also found there are defects in the Bank of China convertible bonds' additional provisions. Hence, we design the put provision and downward provision. However, the empirical result is not ideal because of the randomness of Monte Carlo method.
