The issues of assembly of threaded connections are considered. Rarely percussive nut wrenches are presented as thetooling, which provide transfer of the maximum part of the flywheel energy to the anvil. The possibility of such transmissionis realized due to the proposed selection of rational kinematic and inertial-metric parameters of the main elements ofrarely percussive nut wrenches.

The physical criteria limiting the size of the channels, including the conditions excluding the fl ow of the medium betweenadjacent cameras "under the satellite", are considered. The comparison of the variants of the channels execution is carriedout: in the end wall of the epicycle; in the end wall of the sun gear; in the cylindrical toothed surface of the sun gear. Thedesign criteria that characterize the relative sizes of the channels have been refi ned. For any planetary rotary machineswith the number of waves N of the epicycle, which exceeds the number of waves M of the sun gear by two (N – M = 2), thechannels should be located at the ends of the epicycle, but with N – M = 1, the relative cross-sections of the channels in thecylindrical toothed surface of the sun gear are much larger than in the end wall of the epicycle, therefore, for a planetaryrotary machines with a low pressure of the medium, for example, vacuum pumps, it is advisable to make the channels inthe cylindrical toothed surface of the sun gear.

The dependence of the vortex motion of particles in the deposition process on the crystal structure and properties ofthe obtained substance is found. The possibility of creating a condensed environment with vortex quantum fl ows of particlesmoving without scattering of energy along equipotential surfaces of the medium in the form of similar phenomena(super low friction, superconductivity, superfl uidity, crystal growth in a vacuum) is established. A crystal growth model isproposed for the application of coatings.

The concepts of the accuracy of evaluating the parameters of roughness, an integral part of quality control of products,are analyzed. Measurements of roughness parameters do not allow obtaining their true values. For this, along withthe obtained measurement result, it is necessary to indicate the measurement error. Uncertainty is investigated, which,in contrast to the error, has a progressive nature and is used as an assessment of the reliability of measurement results.By introducing measurement uncertainty into the calibration of a device for measuring roughness, it is possible to increasethe measurement accuracy, and as a result, improve the performance of products. The main provisions of the proposedstudy can be taken as the basis for the development of metrological recommendations for factory laboratories.

The dependences of the wear intensity and the dynamic coefficient on the load when using film-forming lubricants areobtained. On the basis of regression analysis, the law of distribution of the wear rate of the worm wheel teeth is obtained.the calculation of the worm gear life according to the limit wear criterion is given, taking into account the change in thedependence of the wear intensity and the rate of growth of the dynamic coefficient on the load.

This article is devoted to the issues of restoring the performance of fi re pressure hoses in a fi re when punctures, cutsand fi stulas occur. Failure of fi re pressure hoses in a fi re occurs due to mechanical damage during the laying of main andworking lines. In this case, an increase in the working pressure in the bag system leads to the loss of extinguishing agentsand the appearance of fi stulas, longitudinal and transverse breaks. This article offers a technical solution aimed at developinga new clamp design to restore the performance of a fi re pressure hose with a diameter of 55 mm when it is damaged:a puncture or cut. For this purpose, a three-dimensional model of the clamp was developed and its strength analysis wasperformed using the Autodesk Inventor computer-aided design system. This device will allow you to restore the supply offi re extinguishing agents in the shortest possible time if the pressure hoses are damaged in a fi re.

The relationship between the tribotechnical failures in worm gears and the growth of dynamic loads is shown. Thenonlinearity of the growth of the wear intensity over time is revealed. An exponential dependence of wear on time is proposed,taking into account the growth of the dynamic coeffi cient. A probabilistic assessment of the worm gear life wasmade, taking into account the exponential dependence of wear on time, when using different compositions of lubricants.
