A digital equipment monitoring system has been developed and implemented, which includes dynamic recording ofthe number of wear products and oil temperature with original modern recording devices, followed by the technology oftheir processing and use. The system also includes methods for fi nding the necessary information in large data sets usefuland necessary in theoretical and practical terms with a similar technique controlled by a digital monitoring system. Theadvantages of monitoring system are the ability to predict the reliability of the equipment; reduce production risks andsignificantly reduce inefficient costs.

The issues of the quality of assembly and repair of the vehicle on the basis of noise and energy characteristics areconsidered. The level of assembly and repair quality depends on the stability of the geometric dimensions and the materialused, the constancy of allowances, the displacement of the centers of cylindrical parts and other defects; the possibility ofperforming some technological operations with one installation of the product; the distribution of the technological processinto separate operations, ensuring approximately equal productivity on each of them; synchronization of technologicaloperations The results of measurements of parts, the density of interfaces of internal combustion engine elements arepresented. An estimated indicator of the quality of assembly and repair of the vehicle is given.

The tribo-induced effect of increasing the antifriction properties of lubricants with the combined use of cholesterolcompounds and oil-soluble complexones is considered. It was found that the formation of boundary films is due to thefollowing processes: the formation of complex compounds between ethanolamines and iron ions of the surface oxide film;removal of complexes from the friction surface; the interaction of the base of the lubricant with unoxidized iron; the formationof epitropic structured layers with cholesterol esters.

The PUMA lubricant with the use of additives has been investigated. The principle of their interaction with rubbingsurfaces is analyzed in order to evaluate their effectiveness as antifriction agents and their infl uence on the structure oflayers. The effect of an organophosphate and organosulfi de additive on surface wear compared. The infrared analysisrevealed an increase in the concentration of iron in the spent lubricant and a decrease in the concentration of organicbase oil in the system. The infl uence of functional groups and surface wettability on the formation of protective fi lms duringfriction, was revealed.
