Проведен сравнительный анализ особенностей многомасштабного структурирования ленгмюровских и центрифугированных пленок из стабилизированных TOPO (trioctylphosphine oxide) квантовых точек CdSe/CdS/ZnS с использованием методов оптической, зондовой и электронной микроскопии, включая микроскопию высокого разрешения и элементный энергодисперсионный анализ. Химическая структура изучена методами комбинационного (рамановского) рассеяния и ИК-фурье спектроскопии, рентгеновской дифрактометрии. Показано, что построенные на явлениях самоорганизации ленгмюровские нанопленки характеризуются более высокой сплошностью и однородностью, в то время как в центрифугированных пленках формируют кластеры с размерами от десятков до сотен нанометров. Выполнены расчеты из первых принципов методом функционала электронной плотности для ядер CdnSen, которые свидетельствовали о доминировании гексагональной плотной упаковки. Comprehensive studies of the physical and mechanical properties and structure of VT1-0 titanium samples processed by selective laser melting have been carried out. High strength characteristics (the ultimate tensile strength of 820 MPa, the yield strength of 710 MPa) have been achieved. These values exceed by 2 times the values for this material produced using conventional technology. The formation of the martensitic αʹ-phase, obtained due to the high crystallization rates realized in selective laser melting process, is the reason for the increase in the mechanical characteristics of titanium VT1-0. Mechanical characteristics of titanium VT1-0 subjected to high-temperature annealing demonstrated a monotonous decrease in strength parameters by 15% and an increase in plastic characteristics by 30%. It is shown that the technology of selective laser melting makes it possible to solve the problem of improving the strength characteristics of unalloyed titanium to create a new class of medical devices.

An epitaxial film of the Pd-Fe alloy 116 nm thick with an iron concentration varying in depth from 2 at.% to 50 at.% has been synthesized. An experimental depth distribution profile of iron was obtained as a result of stepwise etching of the film surface with Ar+ ions. Profiling showed that, as a result of annealing, the impurity was redistributed in the film, and a layer of the L10-phase with a constant concentration was formed near the film surface. After removal of the L10-phase, the film exhibits easy-plane anisotropy. The study of spin-wave resonance spectra showed the presence of several modes of standing spin waves, the number of which depends on the residual film thickness.

The results of measuring the charge-discharge characteristics of solid-state thin-film lithium-ion batteries with a nanocomposite anode based on a-Si(Al) solid solution are presented. The charging characteristics of batteries have a feature in the form of a step on the smooth branch of the charge curve. It is shown that the appearance of the step is associated with the compensation of a-Si(Al) and the change from hole to electron conductivity due to lithiation of the electrode during charging. As a result of lithiation, the electron over-barrier current becomes the main component of the charging current. To maintain a galvanostatic charge mode, the potentiostat increases the voltage by the height of the potential barrier, which leads to the appearance of a step on the charging curve. The impedance of a solid-state thin-film lithium-ion battery of the LiCoO2-LiPON-Si@O@Al electrochemical system was measured in the temperature range from -20°С to 50°С. A structural model of the accumulator is proposed and the parameters of the structural elements of the model are calculated which provide the best fit for experimental Nyquist diagrams. The obtained values of the electrodes’ resistivity are orders of magnitude higher than the results of direct measurements and data from literary sources. According to the IV-characteristics obtained by cyclic voltammetry the high resistance of the electrodes is due to the metal-semiconductor contact and the varistor effect of the electrode material. The results obtained make significant adjustments to the interpretation of the impedance spectra and structural models of solid-state lithium-ion batteries based on semiconductor materials

Record thick (up to 100 μm) epitaxial layers of a prospective semiconductor metastable Ga2O3 were grown by HVPE (Halide Vapor Phase Epitaxy) on GaN buffer layers on c-sapphire substrate. The X-ray diffraction spectra of the layers show that the structure of the layer is a pure k(ε)-Ga2O3 without any other phases. At the same time, the organization of the domain structure is noted, which manifests itself in the form of pseudohexagonal prisms with the inheritance of the orientation of the gallium nitride sublayer. Schottky diodes with a nickel contact were fabricated and the electrical and photoelectric properties of the layers were studied. Capacitance-voltage (C-V) and frequency-capacitance (C-f) dependencies have been studied, photocurrent and photocapacitance spectra have been measured.

At present, the problem of using as functional materials such materials that are a by-product of technological processes and accumulate in the form of production waste is becoming more relevant. We have studied two groups of samples. The first group became the basis for a new material for the air humidity sensor, which was obtained from the waste products of citric acid production. Samples of citrogypsum (calcium sulfate dihydrate, i.e. CaSO42H2O) doped with copper sulfate (CuSO45H2O) were prepared. The dependence of the impedance on the relative humidity of samples of three thicknesses was carried out. The frequency dependences of complex resistance and relative permittivity on relative humidity are measured. The second group of samples obtained from citrogypsum was a powder consisting of CaSO42H2O whiskers. Whiskers CaSO42H2O were used to create composites based on epoxy resin. An improvement in the properties of the composite was recorded in the study of tensile and compressive stresses of the samples. This article shows the possibility of practical application of (CaSO42H2O)0.95–(CuSO45H2O)0.05 as a new air humidity sensor material and improvement of the mechanical properties of the composite based on epoxy resin and CaSO42H2O whiskers.

The possibility of precise movement of YVO4:Yb,Er nanoparticles was studied in this work. Such nanoparticles exhibit upconversion luminescent properties and can serve as an accurate low-invasive probe of changes in the local parameters of the medium (in particular, temperature). Using an atomic force microscope, the substrate region with upconversion nanoparticles deposited from the solution and accompanying residues of the synthesis products was cleaned. The use of mechanical marks on the substrate made it possible to compare the atomic force and optical confocal images of the surface and to register the luminescence from an individual nanoparticle. Elemental analysis and luminescence spectra unambiguously identify the nanoparticle as YVO4:Yb,Er.

A two-channel analyzer of optically dense flammable aerosol fluxes based on two parallel diode optocouplers with a wavelength of electromagnetic radiation λ = 0.65 and 3.4 μm, a speed of τ ≤ 0.05 s and the transmission of digitized data to a server up to 1200 m away via the RS-485 interface has been developed. Its design and characteristics in the process of detecting particle streams with a diameter of 0.2 to 5000 μm with an optical density of D ≤ 3.5 are described. It is shown that the values of the ratio of wave attenuation coefficients with λ = 0.65 and 3.4 μm to the droplet size calculated on the basis of the theory of radiation scattering Mi are consistent with the experimental ones. The created aerosol analyzer can be used in the express analysis of technogenic airborne emissions of fuel liquids and for the development of large-scale generators of explosive type when creating pulse barriers from clouds of finely dispersed aerosol in the atmosphere.

Presented results of active resistance frequency dependence measurements of a circular cross-section aluminum and copper conductors with a various diameter in a wide frequency range from 20Hz to 2MHz. Using the skin effect simulation we show that for all types of wires an increased active resistance observed, compared to the theoretical values in the frequency range above 200 kHz, where the skin layer thickness becomes less than 200 μm. This phenomenon may be associated with the manufacturing process of a metal wire by drawing through a die, when defects are formed in the near-surface layer, leading to its increased resistivity.

CuO nanoparticles obtained in a low-pressure arc discharge plasma followed by annealing in an oxygen atmosphere at 500°C were studied by X-ray diffraction and transmission electron microscopy. The formation of irregularly shaped nanoparticles in the size range of 5–30 nm was found. The Rietveld refinement confirmed the formation of a monoclinic CuO phase with an average crystallite size of ~21 nm. The temperature dependences of the magnetization and permittivity of CuO nanoparticles have been studied. They show antiferromagnetic behavior with a Neel temperature of 230 K and frequency-dependent dispersion behavior in the temperature range of 100–200 K at an external magnetic field induction of 0–1.3 T. The dielectric relaxation mechanism is analyzed and found to follow the Arrhenius behavior. It is shown that hopping conductivity with a variable hop length more accurately describes charge transport in CuO nanoparticles. A magnetodielectric response of about 2.5 was observed at a frequency of 12 kHz at a temperature of 150 K in a magnetic field of 1.3 T.
