As a result of interaction under normal conditions in an air atmosphere of a microwave pulse of a gyrotron with a mixture of Al/Al2O3 powders, ceramic particles of morphology microprocesses are synthesized. A variant of a multi-stage process for the development of physical and chemical processes in a reactor, taking into account ignition. After the end of the microwave pulse, a cloud is observed consisting of hot aluminum oxide particles and burning aluminum particles. A certain influence of the combustion process of aluminum particles on the products of plasma-chemical synthesis. The paper also determines the average velocity of particles from the powder mixture, the burning time of aluminum particles, the surface temperature of the particles of the powder mixture, and the temperature of the gaseous medium in the upper part of the plasma-chemical reactor.

The work is devoted to the theoretical investigation of the quasi-static magnetoelectric interaction in three-layer structures consisting of a piezoelectric and two magnetic layers with positive and negative magnetostriction. Using the system of elasto- and electrostatics equations for the piezoelectric and magnetostrictive phases, expressions for the electrical response of the structure in a magnetic field are obtained. The contributions from longitudinal and bending deformations are taken into account in value of ME interactions. It is shown that the use of an asymmetric three-layer asymmetric structure leads to an increase in the magnitude of the ME interaction by almost an order of magnitude compared to a two-layer structure. The dependences of the effect magnitude on the thickness of the third layer for the nickel/lead zirconate titanate/metglas structure are presented.

In this article it was demonstrated the possibility of partial hydrogenation of single-walled carbon nanotubes using an inductively coupled argon-hydrogen plasma. It was studied the changes in the Raman spectrum of samples of single-walled carbon nanotubes during plasma hydrogen intercalation with depending on the treatment time, the discharge power, the substrate material on which the nanotubes were deposited, and the control external voltage. The predominant role of hydrogen ions in the hydrogenation of single-walled carbon nanotubes has been demonstrated.

An experimental study of the morphology of the laminar microjet flow of diluted aqueous solutions of sodium alginate without and with the addition of hydroxyethyl cellulose after a nozzle subject to external vibration stimulation by the action of the reverse piezoelectric effect was carried out. We studied the influence of the polymer concentration in the solution (0.5-5 mg/ml), the flow rate of the liquid (4-26 ml/min), and the frequency of the current of external perturbation (0-1.2 kHz) on the capillary crushing of the microjet with a diameter of about 210 um in the range of Ohnesorge numbers from 0.046 to 1.88 and Reynolds numbers 0.7 to 470. The modes of microjet flow and crushing on microdroplets with indication of boundaries of transitions between them are selected, and a general map of modes is built. Taking into account the polymer concentration in the solution, the dependence of the microjet fracture length on its velocity is shown. The conditions of monodisperse microjet destruction with equidistant arrangement of the main microdroplets in the flow are determined, which are related to an optimal balance between the molecular mass of the polymer in the solution, the intensity of external disturbance and the time of stress relaxation in polymer viscoelastic microjets. The role of formation of structures such as «beads-on-filament» in capillary destruction of microjet with identification of cases of absence of occurrence of «satellite» microdroplets from liquid threads between the main microdroplets has been studied. The results are applied to technologies based on in-air microfluidics (bioengineering and additive technologies), dealing with heterogeneous fluids with viscoelastic properties.

This paper presents the results of an experimental study of the spatial structure of a microwave discharge maintained in an argon flow by gyrotron radiation in a continuous mode with a frequency of 24 GHz at atmospheric pressure. In the structure of the plasma plume, stationary filamentary channels are observed, elongated along the direction of the argon flow, regardless of the orientation of the external electric field of the wave, surrounded by a diffusion halo. Measurements of the electron density, vibrational and rotational temperatures of gas molecules in plasma filaments have been carried out. The role of gas-dynamic mechanisms responsible for the formation of the inhomogeneous static structure of the plasma torch and the maintenance of a substantially nonequilibrium distribution of temperature characteristics in the discharge is discussed.

Представлены результаты исследования влияния центрального иона металла на устойчивость комплексов гадолиния и гольмия с диамидом 1,10'-фенантролин-2,9-дикарбоновой кислоты. Полученные значения констант устойчивости комплексов оказались на порядок ниже, чем известные ранее величины для комплексов этих элементов с диамидом 4,7-дихлор-1,10'-фенантролин-2,9-дикарбоновой кислоты. Point defects in wide-bandgap semiconductors, in particular in hexagonal boron nitride, are promising candidates for single-photon emitters, used in quantum informatics. We investigated cathodoluminescence of ion beam induced defects in hexagonal boron nitride, as well as the effect of prolonged electron irradiation on the intensity of the luminescence. It has been shown that the intensity of both band-to-band emission and defect related emission decreased after ion irradiation, and during subsequent electron irradiation the intensity of 2 eV luminescence band increased, whereas the intensity of other bands remained unchanged.

The fundamental possibility of measuring the stray fields distributions of magnetic objects in a scanning electron microscope is demonstrated. The main idea of the method is to use a sample holder for operation in the mode of a scanning transmission microscope, additionally equipped with a square diffraction grating. This grating, formed on the basis of a metal film, is placed at some distance under the magnetic sample. Reconstruction of the deflections of transmitted electrons by analyzing the geometric phase from visible distortions of the diffraction grating made it possible to reconstruct the distribution of the magnetic field created by the sample under study.

In this work, the effect of the action of gamma quanta and neutrons on the magnetic properties of Ta/feromagnet/IrMn/Ta bilayer films with an exchange bias of the hysteresis loop is studied. The samples were fabricated by magnetron sputtering, and their structure was studied by small-angle X-ray reflectometry and X-ray diffractometry. The measurement of the magnetic hysteresis loops of the irradiated and non-irradiated samples was carried out by the methods of magneto-optical Kerr magnetometry. As a result, the effect of broadening of the magnetic hysteresis loop after irradiation was found. The maximum broadening of the hysteresis loop was observed in the NiFe/IrMn film under neutron irradiation; in this case, the loop width increased by more than 2.5 times. No noticeable change in the field of the exchange bias of the hysteresis loops was observed in the entire range of radiation exposure.

The maximum broadening of the hysteresis loop was observed in the NiFe/IrMn film under neutron irradiation; in this case, the loop width increased by more than 2.5 times.
