The aim of this study is to understand and quantify the relationship between good corporate governance (GCG) and business profit development, as well as to assess the state of GCG implementation in Indonesia. The basic impact of independent board size and managerial ownership on business earnings was examined in this analysis using Return On Asset (ROA). The samples span the timeframe 2015–2019 and include banking companies listed on the Jakarta Stock Exchange (BEJ). Purposive sampling was used to achieve a sample size of 15 businesses. Analyses of data using automated applications and panel data regression techniques. The findings indicated that while an independent board of commissioners had no discernible impact on company income, administrative ownership had a favorable and discernible effect on company profits as measured by ROA metrics.

One of the indicators for the success of quality education in schools is to pay attention to and improve a teacher's performance. The urgency of a teacher's performance has implications for the effectiveness of the learning process in schools. The essence of this research is to determine the role of teacher certification, motivation, and job satisfaction in influencing teacher performance. This study uses a literature and field research design with a quantitative causality approach. Collect data in the field using observation methods and distributing questionnaires online from July to September 2020. The questionnaire was measured by several questions related to teacher certification, motivation, job satisfaction, and teacher performance. This study used a sample of 215 respondents to determine the sample size using the purposive sampling method. A partial least square is applied to examine the relationship between teacher performance, teacher certification, motivation, and job satisfaction. The results of this study indicate that of the three hypotheses developed, there is one hypothesis that is rejected, namely for the effect of the motivation variable on the teacher performance variable, the results do not have a significant effect. As for the variable teacher certification and job satisfaction, the results significantly influenced teacher performance. This study aims to compare the increase in student motivation through the application of PhET with PhET combined experiments. The study was conducted at SMAN 42 Jakarta in odd semester 2019/2020. This type of research is a quasi-experiment with two group pre-test post-test group design research designs. The sample was 64 students. Sampling using cluster random sampling. Class XI IPA 3 as class A is applied to PhET simulation combined experiments and class XI IPA 1 as class B is to be applied to PhET simulation. The instrument used was a questionnaire resulting from learning motivation in the form of 20 statements. The results showed that there was an effect of the application of PhET in combination with experiments on learning motivation with an average initial score of 51.25 for class A and 3.53 for class B, while the final average score of 80.97 for class A and 75.81 for class B. The results of the manova test obtained the statistical value of the multivariate test component which is greater than 0 and close to 1 and the test results of between subjects effects also obtained a significantly smaller value than the significant requirement of 0,000 (0,000 <0.05) for motivation which means the influence an increase in student learning motivation so it is concluded there is an effect of the application of PhET compared to the application of PhET combined experiments on increasing student motivation.

Undergraduate thesis process means the whole process of the foreign language undergraduate students experiences to construct and defend the undergraduate thesis. The objective of the study is to investigate foreign language undergraduate students’ feelings, level of anxiety, and confidence about their undergraduate thesis process. The method employed in this study is survey and interview. The result of the study shows that the majority of the students have high anxiety on defending their undergraduate thesis before the examiners. It is concluded that both examiners and examinees should create a more relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere. It is suggested that the students must prepare both physically and mentally well before defending their undergraduate thesis.

This study aims to determine youth's role as agents of change. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study. Determination of informants in this study used purposive sampling—data collection techniques employed observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique utilized was the interactive model data analysis by Miles and Huberman. The results showed that young people in the Dieng Mountains have tried to play their role as agents of change in empowering coffee farmers quite well. It could be seen from the aspect of youth's role as the development driver, village assistants, and village independence pioneers, which were quite good. However, farmers' participation in the empowerment program was classified as very low, which was only 4%, while those who did not participate were 96%. The coffee farmers' low participation level was caused by the absence of a synergistic relationship between the coffee farmers’ empowerment stakeholders in Tombo Village. Thus forcing the emergence of ARC obstacles in empowering coffee farmers, including a limited budget, infrastructure, and no village government policies that support the development of coffee farming in Tombo Village. The output of this research is expected to contribute to improving the welfare of coffee farmers in Indonesia, especially in Tombo Village.

Human capital is critical to the success of every enterprise. Since human resources play a crucial role in an organization, this is critical to maximizing each employee's potential. Effective talent retention cannot be separated from success appraisals. Since talent in this context can be compared to workers' success when carrying out their assigned duties. Since talent management and performance analysis are mutually reinforcing, the next move is to stabilize talent management. Each employee's competencies will be managed, created, and balanced by an end-ofperiod performance assessment. Direct managers, self-assessments, upward or reverse assessments by subordinates or staff members, client assessments, and electronic monitoring are all examples of individuals authorized to make an evaluation. The actions of workers at work and the personality of each employee were evaluated. More generally, what is judged is the sort of job being assessed, the assessment's intent, the assessment's object, which includes job success and the employee's character.

Changes in the Industrial Revolution Era 4.0 took place in a revolutionary way (very fast) which had implications for easy access in all fields while creating challenges for Guidance and Counselling (GC) teachers to transform. Transformation is needed as a means of maintaining the existence of tasks and the role of GC teachers in providing the best service for students in schools in responding to change. The method used in this article is library research, namely research with data collection techniques by conducting a study of a variety of literature that has to do with the problem being solved. Strengthening the GC teacher's soft skills, lifelong learning is the basis for thinking, and being able to apply the GC media according to needs is expected to be a powerful means to deal with the Industrial Revolution 4.0.

Cirebon is a city on the north coast of Java which had one of the largest ports in the archipelago in the 1300s. This affected the number of immigrants, from traders, merchants, and so on, which led to acculturation of culture, beliefs, and descent in Cirebon City. One form of cultural acculturation is found in the Keraton Kanoman in Cirebon in the form of a symbol of Paksi Naga Liman. Like another city on the north coast of Java, Semarang, which is also rich in cultural acculturation is reflected in the mascot form of a mythological creature, Warak Ngendog. From the two forms of mythological creatures, there are similarities in the form of the concepts of hybridity and multiculturalism. Paksi Naga Liman and Warak Ngendog as symbols of cultural acculturation are also found in the decorative motifs of Cirebon batik and Semarang batik. The depiction of the form of the two mythological animals is based on aesthetic aspects and elements of the spirituality of the community's life. This research uses qualitative methods through historical literature studies and folklore studies. This research aims to examine and compare the aesthetic and design elements in the form of ornaments, colors, and the philosophical background of the creation of the Paksi Naga Liman and Warak Ngendog motifs as mythological creatures. The results of this research will then be used as a guideline for the creation and development of decorative styles in batik motifs that represent fictional four-legged mythological creatures that are enigmatic, unique, aesthetic, and expressive because there are acculturation of Javanese, Arabic, Hinduism, and Chinese cultures as a reflection of messages of spirituality and values harmony of multicultural society.
