Various effects in voltage chart measurement of active points on skin 皮肤上活动点电压图测量的各种影响

Our contribution deals with the human skin voltage chart measurement. We have concentrated our effort on finding and following the measurement of active points on different parts of the skin's surface, to acknowledge their existence and position through a measuring process. The human skin has a certain impedance or resistance — it can be easily described and simulated using a substitute electric circuit. But the skin also contains parts with measurably lower impedance and different electric properties — we can show them clearly by measurement of voltage chart. The parameters of the measured voltage chart are influenced by the amplitude, frequency and the shape of the measuring electric signal.

The control of a memory cell with the multiple stable states 具有多个稳定状态的存储单元的控制

The subject of this paper is control of a memory cell with the multiple stable states consisting of two resonant tunnel diodes (RTDs). One of the RTDs is an element and the other represents a load. The circuit can be described with a third-order system so that its state space is R3 and exhibits three stable states. Although we are dealing with a specific circuit and three stable states, the results presented can be generalized to the space Rn (for both n = 2 and n > 2) and multiple stable states, as well. The RTDs, however, are mentioned here only to demonstrate the all-new phenomena in R3 space.

Light propagation in biological media with gold nanoparticles embedded 嵌入金纳米粒子的生物介质中的光传播

Nanoparticles have been proposed as a solution to current shortcomings both in therapeutic and diagnosis applications. The development of new treatment modalities and optical imaging techniques highlights the need to understand the effect that such nanostructures produce in a biological environment and how they affect the propagation of the optical radiation in the human tissue. In this way, the use of optical models has become an indispensable tool for this purpose. In this work we present an optical model that tries to predict the effect of gold nanoparticles in the optical distribution for three different types of malignant skin tumors. The results obtained allow us to know the absorption of the optical radiation in order to compare the total energy accumulated in the target tissue when it has nanoparticles embedded and without them. Differences were observed between several types of tumors. This demonstrates the need to know not only the optical properties of the nanostructures but also the biological environment where they are incorporated.

FDTD/PO hybrid method for analysis of planar antennas radiating near large conducting objects 大导体附近平面天线辐射的FDTD/PO混合分析方法

In this paper, a hybrid technique combining the FDTD method and Physical Optics (PO) approximation is presented as a tool for analysis of planar antennas radiating in the presence of electrically large conductive structures. The surface equivalence theorem is used to interface the FDTD and PO subdomains and establish equivalent current sources. To increase computational efficiency of the proposed approach, the spatial interpolation technique of the electromagnetic field components on the Huygens' surface is employed. Numerical results are given to illustrate the efficiency of the hybrid technique.

Comparison of novel multi-objective self organizing migrating algorithm with conventional methods 新型多目标自组织迁移算法与传统方法的比较

In the paper, three algorithms for the multi-objective optimization based on the strategy of a self-organized migration are compared. The first two algorithms — Weighted Sum Method and Rotated Weighted Metric Method — transform multiple objectives into a single fitness function. The third method — a novel MOSOMA — combines the principle of the non-dominated sorting of population in the objective space and the survey of the decision space of input variables based on the self-organized migration. All three algorithms are compared on the test problem with the Pareto front, which contains both convex and non-convex parts. Monitored parameters are generational distance, spread of solutions and CPU time.

Circuit realization of the inertia neuron 惯性神经元的电路实现

In this article a simple model of inertia neuron based on the ordinary differential equations of Hindmarsh-Rose model is shown. The fully analog circuit realization is presented. Operational amplifiers as an inverting integrator are used for integration of the differential equations. The function of the model is checked by varying of five bifurcation parameters. Simulations and measurements results are compared. The simulation and measured results demonstrate that analog neuron circuit model is the viable candidate for the implementation in real time.

In this paper, the combination of structure decomposition method and impedance matrix interpolation technique is presented. This approach allows to reduce the time of wide band analysis of while maintaining good accuracy of the results comparing to the results obtained via direct method of moments.

Measurement and analysis of microwave processing of biopolymers 微波处理生物聚合物的测量与分析

Biopolymers can be very effectively used in many contemporary applications. Modern means of processing biopolymers enable usage of them in new ways and situations which were previously dominated by conventional synthetic plastic materials. It is essential for further research and practical applications that we well know processes which are ongoing during the microwave processing. We present methodology specifically intended for examination and evaluation of effects of microwave processing of biopolymers in well defined electromagnetic field. In this paper we use microwave exposure system designed to meet all the requirements for visualization of the processing [1] and we use results given by the visualization (i.e. video recording and/or captured pictures) to analyze progression and changes in the exposed samples using Matlab [2] for image processing. In this paper we also present obtained results and propose future use of the system in industrial (and possibly medical) applications.

Adaptive time-domain pre-emphasis techniques for high-speed VLSI systems 高速VLSI系统的自适应时域预强调技术

This paper presents a different approach to the implementation of a transmitter pre-emphasis. The digital transmitter pre-emphasis techniques are commonly based on conventional FIR (Finite Impulse Response) filtering methods which can be insufficient for future sub-micron CMOS design, where the voltage headroom will become lower, and the noise margin will become limiting factor. A very effective time-domain method based on pulse-width modulation is proposed to improve data signal quality of recent high-speed VLSI systems.

The log-periodic principle of antennas can be applied to circuits with guided waves as well. It promises wideband performance with almost unlimited bandwidth. Although described in literature more than 40 years ago such circuits did not find wide use. This article aims to demonstrate practical design and properties of a circuit based on log-periodic principle. The authors selected a balun consisting of a wideband equal power divider (Wilkinson type) and a 180-degree differential phase shifter. The shifter, based on log-periodic principle, consists of cells containing asymmetric striplines interconnected by offset broadside-coupled striplines. The resulting circuit covers two octaves centered at 1 GHz.
