The Say-Do-Say correspondence is defined as the coincidence relationship between what a person says they will do, what they subsequently do, and what they finally report having done. Despite the relevance of this phenomenon in the clinical setting, it has been scarcely investigated. The two objectives of the present work were: (1) evaluate whether the proposed methodology is adequate to measure correspondence; (2) analyze whether the delay variable affects the establishment of correspondence. To do this, a pilot study was carried out using a quasi-experimental design with two groups (Delay group and No-Delay group) and nine single-case studies were carried out, measuring the correspondence in five behaviors through questionnaires and an observational methodology. In the Delay group, each of the phases was measured with a time difference of one week, while in the No-Delay group all measurements were performed on the same day. The methodology used seemed appropriate to make a first approach to the phenomenon in semi-natural contexts, although certain limitations were found that must be taken into account in future studies. Abstract: This study aimed to evaluate and determine the efficacy of a brief transdiagnostic treatment in group format for people with mild and moderate emotional disorders, and to establish correlations between the changes after treatment in the different variables. This work had a single-group experimental design with pre-post measures. Participants (n =18) were randomly assigned to the PsicAP-Cost project design, from which the experimental group data have been extracted. Participants were assessed pre- and post-intervention with the following measures: PHQ-15, PHQ-9, GAD-7, PSQW-A, RRS-B, and CERQ-18. Brief transdiagnostic therapy was found to be effective in reducing depressive symptoms (p = .001), anxious symptoms (p = .011), and worry (p = .018) with high/moderate effect sizes. In addition, significant positive correlations were found between changes in depressive symptoms and worry variables, and between changes in anxious symptoms and rumination. In conclusion, brief transdiagnostic treatments can be a treatment to consider for patients with mild and moderate emotional disorders in Primary Care due to their efficacy in some symptoms and their characteristics.

The article aims to present in a summarized way the most outstanding characteristics of the process of transformation of public structures of attention to mental health problems, officially initiated in Andalusia in June 1984, with the approval by Parliament of law on the subject. Throughout these almost 40 years the archaic structure of services that characterized psychiatric care has been transformed into a complex network of community orientation, surpassing the Psychiatric Hospitals and with a health sector integrated into the Public Health System and another intersectoral dependent on the FAISEM public Foundation. The text presents the previous characteristics, the lines of work developed, and the main results obtained, with a positive assessment in relation to the initial situation, but also with important aspects not adequately resolved and that need subsequent developments that, however, are not being addressed today.

Quality of life in patients and caregivers cannot be conceived without including social needs. The aim of this research is to conduct a systematic review showing empirical evidence of how affective relationships influence the quality of life of patients with rare diseases and their caregivers. A search was conducted in the Web of Science, Scopus and PsycInfo databases. A total of 4923 articles were found, which after the screening process were reduced to 12 studies. The effects of affective relationships were found both in the family nucleus and in its components independently (parents, siblings and patients). It is evident that both the family and the extra-familial environment are essential to improve quality of life. It is recommended that future research should study the interactions between the established relationships to offer a better intervention.

Sexual violence against children and suicidal and non-suicidal self-injurious behaviors are two social and health problems that have increased. Sexual assaults have an impact, affecting the tendency to carry out autolytic behaviors. Therefore, it was intended to study the relationship between having been a victim of sexual violence in their childhood and the probability of engaging in suicidal and non-suicidal self-injurious behaviors in adolescence and early adulthood. For this, a systematic review has been carried out, through the Pubmed and PsycInfo databases of articles published between 2015 and 2022. A significant relationship has been found between both problems, observing that the suicide attempts of these victims were intrinsically related to their experiences of aggression. Thus, it has been found that variables such as gender, rumination, emotional dysregulation, social support, and characteristics of aggression mediate the relationship between sexual violence against children and suicidal and non-suicidal autolytic behaviors. This type of investigation helps us to establish the focus of intervention in the cases of victims of child sexual assault, but it should also help to give visibility to the problem and promote preventive intervention protecting children.

We analyzed how the familiarity that adults had with mental illness and the more or less positive appraisal of their experiences in this regard influenced the stigma of their children. Stigma was measured in terms of children's refusal to help a peer with mental illness. The sample consisted of 56 children in sixth grade and one legal guardian each. The Attribution Questionnaire-8 for Children, the Level Of Familiarity scale and a Likert scale were used for assessment. A positive and statistically significant correlation was found between adult familiarity and child stigma. The higher the familiarity, the lower the stigma. It was debated whether or not the stigmatizing attitudes measured would really be stigmatizing in childhood, and it was recommended that further research be carried out and that the Attribution Questionnaire-8 for Children be validated in Spain.

With the development of new technologies, a type of harassment called cyberbullying emerged that presents different qualitative characteristics. However, there are few instruments to measure both behaviors together. The objective of this research was to evaluate for the first time the psychometric properties of the BCS-A scale by Thomas et al. that measures bullying and cyberbullying multi-dimensionally in a sample of Spanish-speaking adolescents. For this purpose, an intentional sample of 842 students who attended secondary school in Argentina (46% male, 53% female and 1% non-binary) was constituted. Participants answered the questionnaire, the Goodman Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire, and demographic questions. Factor analyzes -exploratory and confirmatory- indicated four dimensions: physical, verbal, relational and virtual victimization, as well as to carry out bullying. Se busca determinar el grado de solapamiento entre la victimización y la cibervictimización, por un lado, y entre la agresión y la ciberagresión, por el otro. Al mismo tiempo, se pretende describir los perfiles de personalidad y eventuales problemas emocionales en los adolescentes involucrados en cibervictimización y ciberbullying y compararlos con los de los involucrados en la victimización y el bullying presencial. Se constituyó una muestra de 898 adolescentes de escuelas secundarias de la Argentina (56% mujeres, edad media = 15;2). En lo relativo al solapamiento entre victimización y cibervictimización, este era 8%, mientras que para agresión y ciberagresión era 4%. Las víctimas y las cibervíctimas no diferían en los niveles de problemas emocionales, con la excepción de que las víctimas presenciales presentaban menor autoestima; también ellas presentaban mayor neuroticismo que los grupos no involucrados. Los ciberagresores puntuaban más bajo en depresión y en conciencia, pero más alto en agradabilidad en comparación con los agresores presenciales.Estos resultados sugerirían que el ciberbullying no es una mera extensión del bullying. En la discusión se analizan las implicancias de estos hallazgos y se brindan sugerencias para futuros estudios.
{"title":"Bullying y ciberbullying: su relación con los problemas emocionales y la personalidad","authors":"Santiago Alejandro Resett","doi":"10.55414/ap.v37i1.766","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.55414/ap.v37i1.766","url":null,"abstract":"Se busca determinar el grado de solapamiento entre la victimización y la cibervictimización, por un lado, y entre la agresión y la ciberagresión, por el otro. Al mismo tiempo, se pretende describir los perfiles de personalidad y eventuales problemas emocionales en los adolescentes involucrados en cibervictimización y ciberbullying y compararlos con los de los involucrados en la victimización y el bullying presencial. Se constituyó una muestra de 898 adolescentes de escuelas secundarias de la Argentina (56% mujeres, edad media = 15;2). En lo relativo al solapamiento entre victimización y cibervictimización, este era 8%, mientras que para agresión y ciberagresión era 4%. Las víctimas y las cibervíctimas no diferían en los niveles de problemas emocionales, con la excepción de que las víctimas presenciales presentaban menor autoestima; también ellas presentaban mayor neuroticismo que los grupos no involucrados. Los ciberagresores puntuaban más bajo en depresión y en conciencia, pero más alto en agradabilidad en comparación con los agresores presenciales.Estos resultados sugerirían que el ciberbullying no es una mera extensión del bullying.
