The current study aimed at identifying the relationship between the problems suffered by parents of students with autism spectrum disorder in Riyadh in relation to their coping styles. The sample comprised (110) parents of students with autism spectrum disorder in Riyadh (55 fathers & 55 mothers). Tools of this study concluded: Scale of the problems suffered by parents of students with autism spectrum disorder (prepared by the researcher) and coping styles scale for parents of students with autism spectrum disorder (prepared by the researcher). Results indicated that there was a significant relationship between the problems suffered by parents of students with autism spectrum disorder and their coping styles. There were statistically significant differences between mothers and fathers of students with autism spectrum disorder in level of the problems, in favor of the mothers. There were also statistically significant differences between mother and fathers of students with autism spectrum disorder in coping styles, in favor of the fathers. Level of the problems faced by parents of students with autism spectrum disorder could be predicted through level of their coping styles.

Social media continues to play a crucial role in many aspects of life, including education. In addition to providing platforms for communication, social media has also given English language teachers and learners a greater opportunity to leverage it for teaching and learning purposes in foreign language settings. Yet, there is little concrete information is available on how social media can support teaching and learning. In fact, the research on social media use tends to focus on learners' attitudes and perceptions, as opposed to how it is used. Hence, taking the context of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the present systematic review attempts to document the current research landscape on the use of social media in foreign language classrooms. A total of 11 studies that have been published in between 2020 and 2022 are collected and thematically analysed. The studies were selected based on a set of criteria that are set for them to be included for analysis. Findings have generally shown that most of the articles that investigated the use of social media utilized quantitative research paradigm through the technique of survey distributed to targeted samples. Most of the samples are stakeholders at the education institutions in the Kingdom. In addition, the findings also confirmed that most studies to date are only concerned with the attitudes or perceptions of using social media in teaching and learning. This therefore leads to a huge gap on other aspects such as pedagogical technique or the outcomes of integrating social media into the learning process.

The study aimed at identifying the extent to which academic leaders practice ethical leadership from the point of view of faculty members. The study used the descriptive survey method, and the questionnaire as a tool for data collection because it is suitable to the objectives of the study, its methodology, and its society. To answer its questions, the researcher limited the study sample to a simple random sample consisting of (280) participants, with a response rate of 32.4%. The study reached a number of results, the most important of which are: 1. The study sample’s agreement came to a (medium) degree on the academic leaders practice of ethical leadership with regard to the dimension of ethical personal behaviors. 2. The study sample’s agreement came to a (high) degree on the level to which academic leaders practice ethical leadership with regard to the dimension of ethical administrative behaviors. 3. The study sample’s agreement came to a (high) degree on the level to which academic leaders practice ethical leadership with regard to the dimension of human relations behaviors. 4. The study sample’s agreement came to a (high) degree on the level of organizational trust of ethical leadership. 5. There are no differences in the attitudes of the study sample members regarding the dimensions of ethical leadership (ethical personal behaviors, ethical administrative behaviors, the degree to which academic leaders practice ethical leadership) according to the degree variable, and there are differences in the study sample members attitudes about the same dimensions, but according to the variable number of years of service. 6. This research deals with the parallel structure of the poet Shtiwe Al - Ghaithi in Diwan: Omar Yazmlh al-Qasseed, and seeks to highlight the synthetic patterns on which this parallel comes, and aims to reach the most important manifestations of the transformation of the parallel structure, the goal for which the poet breaks that structure. The research found that the poet's main reasons for breaking the structure of parallelism among his poems were synthetic alignment, preservation of external music, and semantic purpose. All of which did not depart from his rhythmic musical appearance.

This research explores the need for English for Academic Purposes (EAP) among Majmaah University students admitted into the Colleges of Medicine, Applied Medical Sciences, and Engineering. The purpose of this study was to persuade Majmaah University stakeholders that a needs analysis was the only objective method to inform the course design process. Data were collected from 180 participants using a questionnaire. The participants came from the Colleges of Medicine, Applied Medical Sciences, and Engineering. Data analysis revealed that there were significant differences in the students’ EAP skills. An interpretation of the results showed that these differences were attributable to the role of EAP in the academic activities in the three colleges. Based on the study findings, it was recommended that EAP courses should not be confined to the Deanship of Common First year. That is, colleges should consider adding more advanced courses to serve the students’ academic purposes at advanced levels. It was also recommended that a series of needs analyses should be conducted to update stakeholders’ perceptions of what constitutes a relevant EAP syllabus at advanced levels.

The current study aimed to recognize the reality of interdisciplinary studies in educational research and the encountered challenges, and to provide developmental recommendations. The author implemented a descriptive methodology and constructed a questionnaire. From the faculty of education at Majmaah University (55) teaching member participated in the study during the second semester 1442/ 1443 hijri. Analyses of data found that the level of interdisciplinary studies in educational research was low, in addition the challenges level encountering educational interdisciplinary research was high, differences between respondents answers on the reality and challenges was insignificant, and recommendations offered to develop interdisciplinary studies in educational research volume was high. In light of the results, the author recommends to benefit from non-specialized experiences in conducting educational research, to seek partnerships between different disciplines in solving educational and communal problems and developmental issues, to activate the role of research teams to enhance researchers, educationalists and academics participation in interdisciplinary studies, and to increase university fund budgets to conduct educational interdisciplinary studies. In addition, the author recommends conducting a study involving interdisciplinary research skills acquaintance, and a study on the relation of interdisciplinary studies to achieve the kingdom vision of 2030.

The current study aimed to investigate the degree to which parents in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia practice reading and writing activities in the pre-school stage with their children to develop their reading and writing skills in the general education stages. In addition, studying the impact of these activities on students’ achievement in reading and writing skills when they reach the fourth grade of primary school. The data of Saudi Arabia was published by IEA, it was based on PIRLS 2016. The questionnaire of the student’s guardians in the study included a scale containing several reading and writing activities for the pre-primary stage to determine the extent to which parents practice them. Using multiple linear regression analysis, the results showed that building cubes and playing with shapes are among the most important activities that positively affect reading and writing skills. In addition, followed by reading stories and writing letters of words as another set of important activities, which parents provide to their children before they enter school. The study recommended the necessity of implementing developmental programs for parents to show the importance of their participation in developing children's reading and writing skills, as well as providing courses to teach them effective strategies that contribute to developing children’s reading and writing skills.

The study attempts to know and analyze the reality of employing educational technologies, determine obstacles to its activation, and find the ways and suggestions to increase its effectiveness in teaching Arabic for speakers of other languages. The study also determines the level of pride in its Arab and Islamic identity. A descriptive analytical method is employed using a questionnaire as a main tool for the study. It includes (29) Items to get the responses of the adults of the research sample. The number of students who responded is (97) of the Arabic Teaching Institute for Non-Native Speakers at the Islamic University. The study concludes: the reality of employing educational technologies comes at a high degree in teaching Arabic for speakers of other languages and the level of pride in the Arab and Islamic identity is high among learners of Arabic language who speak other languages. The most important obstacles in employing educational technologies in teaching Arabic Language are the high cost of digital technologies and the inability of educational institutions to provide them. The study suggests that an appropriate and adequate educational environment for employing educational technologies should be provided.
