Kiai’s Strategy in Forming the Religious Character of Male Santri at the Darul Ulum Sampang Islamic Boarding School Kiai 在 Darul Ulum Sampang 伊斯兰寄宿学校培养男山特里宗教性格的策略

This research aims to describe in depth about 1) how the kiai plan to shape the religious character of male students at the Darul Ulum Sampang Islamic Boarding School. 2) how to implement the kiai’s planning in shaping the religious character of male students at the Darul Ulum Sampang Islamic Boarding School. 3) evaluation and follow-up planning in shaping the religious character of male students at the Darul Ulum Sampang Islamic Boarding School. The purpose of this research is to describe the planning, implementation of planning and evaluation and follow-up of the kiai’s planning in shaping the religious character of male students at the Darul Ulum Sampang Islamic Boarding School. This research is qualitative research and uses a case study approach. Data collection procedures include observation, interviews and documentation. Meanwhile, data analysis techniques include data collection, data presentation, data condensation and conclusions or verification. The results of this research show that the kiai’s planning in forming the religious character of male santri was carried out through meetings held with boarding school administrators and parties related to the boarding school to develop programs and the results included short-term, medium-term and long-term education. The implementation of the planning has been carried out according to the procedures created in the planning, the implementation is supported by facilities such as mosques, halls and the boarding school environment. There are several methods used by kiai and administrators, namely habits, discipline, example, advice, punishment and stories. Evaluation and follow-up is through monthly meetings and 3-month meetings held by the kiai and all administrators to then find solutions and follow-up according to the duties and functions of each administrator. Meanwhile, program meetings are held after each activity carried out by the implementing committee.

This research focuses on the collective leadership of kiai at Lirboyo Islamic Boarding School in Kediri, with a particular emphasis on the role of the Board of Trustees and Welfare (BPK-P2L). The BPK-P2L, known as the Islamic Boarding School Development and Welfare Body, acts as the highest decision-making forum, ensuring policies align with the school’s mission and values. This qualitative study employs a case study approach, utilizing in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation, with data analysis following the Croswell model. Findings reveal that collective kiai leadership, initiated by the dzuriyah, aims to unite families and prevent miscommunication. The BPK-P2L, comprising representatives from previous caretakers, plays a crucial role in determining school care, maintaining its existence, and supporting the principal. The implication of collective kiai leadership is evident in actively contributing to the school’s care and development while preserving the founders’ noble values.

This research focuses on the rapid development of Islamic boarding schools, exploring the case of Miftahul Mubtadiin Krempyang in Nganjuk. The school, over 82 years old with 5000+ students, faces challenges and changes in the current educational landscape. Employing a qualitative case study approach, the study investigates change management strategies and their impacts on the school’s existence. The change process involves thorough preparation, consensus deliberation, and continuous evaluation. Three key change strategies are identified: establishing a parent organisation, adapting organisational forms, and evolving leadership structures. Positive impacts include strengthened internal and external roles, but challenges like increased competition and potential shifts in Islamic values are noted. The study underscores the importance of strategic changes for the continued existence of Islamic boarding schools in the face of evolving educational landscapes.

Technological advances and the ease of carrying out various digital activities in society era 5.0 pose a risk to deviations in students’ character and social behavior. This study aims to develop a role-playing learning model based on Ubrug Banten local wisdom to enhance students’ religious character and collaborative competence. The research method for developing learning models uses the ADDIE stages which are studied through literature studies. The research result show that development of role-playing learning model based on local wisdom in Ubrug Banten to enhance students’ religious character and collaborative competence can be carried out using five stages, namely analyzing students’ needs, designing learning models, developing learning models through testing model feasibility and reliability validity of instruments, hypothetical learning model designs implementation, and learning models’ evaluation. The development of role-playing learning model based on Ubrug Banten local wisdom to enhance students’ religious character and collaborative competence can be carried out using the ADDIE design with five stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation.

The Legal Position of Limited Partnership in Indonesia through the Perspective of the Philosophy of Utilitarianism 从功利主义哲学角度看印度尼西亚有限合伙制的法律地位

A limited partnership (CV) is one of the most popular business entities for the public in building businesses through Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) as a driver of the national economy. Regulations regarding CVs are regulated in the Commercial Code (KUHD), and Civil Code (KUHPerdata) as well as technical guidelines for registration and dissolution of CVs through Government Regulation No. 17/2018. The existence of CV, which is important in national economic development, causes the need to understand the concept of CV law and the legal position of CV based on the principles of utilitarianism philosophy. This research uses a normative juridical method with a statutory approach and conceptual approach, and legal materials are analyzed using the deductive method. The result of this study is that the legal concept of CV lies in the authority of the allies contained in Article 19 to Article 21 of the KUHD, if there are things that have not been regulated, the provisions of the Civil Code apply, and the legal position of CV based on the principle of utilitarianism, namely the allies in managing the partnership must fulfill their rights and obligations as applicable regulations, so that the business is managed will provide benefits and benefits not only for the allies, but also can increase the source of state revenue which has benefited national economic growth.

Hybrid learning, often referred to as technology-mediated instruction, web-enhanced instruction, or mixed-mode instruction, is a teaching methodology that integrates virtual learning resources and online engagement with traditional classroom techniques. The term “blended learning,” or “hybrid learning,” has gained a lot of traction, particularly in contexts related to tertiary education. An increasing number of educators are employing information technology to deliver instruction or assess students in their courses, thanks to the advancements in computer technology and the ubiquitous use of the internet. This article aims to find out the current situation of teaching reading skill for students of English major at university in Hanoi and estimate the effectiveness of combining face-to-face and online teaching to teach reading comprehension skills for English major students.

Empowering Rural Science Teachers as Reflective and Action-Oriented Practitioners 让农村科学教师成为善于反思、注重行动的实践者

Teachers are aware of the presence, nature, and extent of classroom problem that they experience in daily teaching but they are not empowered enough to solve them as they aim to address learning losses. Thus, this paper described the profile of rural secondary science teachers; identified their problems encountered in daily teaching; and formulated policy recommendations that could empower them to be a reflective and action-oriented practitioner. Using qualitative case research design, eleven science teachers were purposively chosen as informants and data gathered were analyzed thematically. Three of them specializes in Biology, General Science, and Physics while the other two specializes in Chemistry; four of them were teaching Science in two or more grade levels; majority of science teachers were females; are Teachers I; and teaching experience of 0-5 years. Their problems meet was students’ poor performance, unfavorable behavior in class and teachers’ perceived difficulty. With these findings, the researcher recommends empowering teachers by developing their skills as reflective teachers and as classroom action researchers which could be strengthen by involving them in planning and designing professional development program, extending its implementation and evaluation in classrooms and by being part of a collaborative learning community.

Entrepreneurial Skills Required by Metalwork Technology Students for Workforce Sustainability in Technical Colleges in Lagos State 拉各斯州技术学院金属加工技术专业学生为实现劳动力可持续性所需的创业技能

The purpose of this study was to determine the entrepreneurial skills required by metalwork technology students for workforce sustainability in technical colleges in Lagos State. Four research questions and three hypotheses guided the study. A descriptive survey research design was adopted to carry out the study. The population for the study was one hundred and four (104) respondents, comprising 19 metalwork technology students from Lagos State Technical College, Agidingbi. 28 metalwork technology students from Lagos State Technical College, Ikeja; 26 metalwork technology students from Lagos State Technical College, Ikorodu; and 31 metalwork technology students from the Federal College of Education (Technical), Akoka, Lagos. four questionnaires titled, The technical skills required by metal work technology students for workforce sustainability in Technical colleges in Lagos state. “; The marketing skills required by metal work technology students for workforce sustainability in technical colleges, The managerial skills required by metalwork technology students for workforce sustainability in technical colleges The problem-solving skills required by metalwork technology students for workforce sustainability in Nigeria’s technical colleges were developed by the researchers and used for data collection. Three experts validated the instruments: two experts from the Department of Industrial Technical Education, University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and one expert from the Department of Vocational Education, School of Technical Education, Yaba College of Technology. The reliability coefficient of the instrument was found to be 0.86, 0.81, 0.89, and 0.73. Data collected were analyzed using the mean and standard deviation to answer the research questions, while t-test statistics were used to test the hypotheses at 0.05 level of significance. The study found no significant difference significant difference in the mean response of metalwork technology students and metalwork technology lecturer on the entrepreneurial skills required by metalwork technology students for workforce sustainability in technical colleges.

This article explores the multifaceted barriers that hinder rural youth in Phu Giao District, Binh Duong Province, Vietnam, from accessing vocational training opportunities. Vocational training plays a pivotal role in equipping young individuals with the necessary skills and knowledge to secure employment, contribute to economic development, and improve their quality of life. However, in rural areas like Phu Giao District, several challenges impede the effective access to and utilization of vocational training programs. Understanding these barriers is crucial for policymakers, educators, and stakeholders in the vocational training sector to develop targeted interventions and strategies that can address the unique challenges faced by rural youth.

Application of Intellectual Capital in Improving Employee Performance and Time Management as Intervening Variables 智力资本在提高员工绩效中的应用和时间管理作为干预变量

The employee performance in the government sector has a significant impact on services to the community. This study aims to analyze how intellectual capital, which includes employee knowledge, skills and relationships, can influence employee performance in the South Sulawesi Provincial Government with time management as an intervening variable. Through qualitative and quantitative methods, this research reveals that intellectual capital has a positive correlation with increasing employee performance. However, optimal application of intellectual capital requires effective time management. The results of the analysis show that time management acts as a mediator in the relationship between intellectual capital and employee performance. In other words, good time management allows intellectual capital to be applied more effectively, thereby improving employee performance. This research offers insight for the South Sulawesi Provincial Government in its efforts to improve employee performance through optimizing intellectual capital and efficient time management.
