Modelling the saturation region of power bipolar mode JFET for SPICE simulation 基于SPICE仿真的功率双极JFET饱和区域建模

A circuit model of a power bipolar JFET (junction field-effect transistor) which is able to describe accurately the saturation region of the device both in static and in switching operations is presented. The model permits a good estimate of the device conduction losses and of the device storage time. The equivalent circuit was totally developed on a physical basis, and the extraction of the model parameters can be directly computed from geometrical and physical parameters of the device. The model accurately describes experimental device characteristics and is used to get an insight into the physics of the switching operation of the bipolar JFET in the case of an inductive load.<>

Motor drives in factory communication 工厂通讯用电机驱动

Concepts are presented for communication between drives and other equipment. The use of a proprietary (yet open and published) protocol as well as a widely accepted industry standard communication standard are presented. The controlling host device can be a standard personal computer or industrial programmable logic controller. The system supplies logical control of I/O devices along with the analog data acquisition and output for process control. In addition, direct control and monitoring of the motor drive is achieved via the same host controller and interface protocol. Widespread use of this concept will open the door for multiple vendor support with standardized software and thus broader application acceptance.<>

Concept of a modular grid to control ESD in electronic systems 控制电子系统ESD的模块化网格概念

The characteristics of a three body system, including a modular grid and a ground plane, were investigated. A planar grid with a variable screen density, was used as Body 2, and positioned between Body 1, simulating a charged human body, and Body 3, representing the electronic system under test. Capacitance coefficients were measured; body potentials, energies, and charges were calculated for a variety of conductor arrangements. Cases which were analyzed included a grid which was floating, grounded, and at a fixed potential relative to Body 1. The results demonstrate the possibility of using a system grid to control the probability and severity of electrostatic discharge.<>

When analyzing transient torques the motor generalized equations are usually solved for various time lags between break and remake of the supply. It is shown that when dealing with motors having deep bar properties, it is important to include the deep-bar characteristics when doing simulations. The results show that when the changes in the bar parameters with speed are included, then the transient torques predicted may be significantly larger.<>

A fine linear movement microactuator using a solid state technology 一种采用固态技术的精细直线运动微致动器

A microactuator as a linear controllable movement device fabricated by solid state technology is introduced. It is composed of a PZT bar, two silicon pads, and a silicon substrate. It moves linearly forward and backward with a maximum speed of 16 mu m/sec/volt at the three phase input pulse power of 13.3 kHz. The size of the pad and oxide layer are determined by the coefficient of friction between base material (SiO/sub 2//Si) and the required pulling force. As the force pulling the pad becomes bigger, the size of the pad increases. From the experimental test of the device the static frictional coefficient between base (SiO/sub 2//Si) and pad surface (SiO/sub 2//Si) is determined as 0.64 under vacuum at 30 volts for clamping force. Basic information is presented in order to design an electrostatic or piezoelectric motor using solid state technology.<>

Control of nonlinear resonant pole inverters 非线性谐振极逆变器的控制

A version of the resonant pole inverter includes a saturating inductor and a current feedback winding. The standard resonant pole inverter becomes a special case of this inverter and design degrees of freedom increase significantly. The focus is on the control of this type of inverter, and the switching frequency variation and dynamic response are addressed. It is shown that a saturating inductor can improve the stability of the switching frequency while very fast dynamic response is possible in the case of an inductive load. Experimental results are presented.<>

The structure of pulsed discharge plasma of CH/sub 4/ mixed with H/sub 2/ and AR gases has been studied for active control of plasma CVD processing. Using square wave pulsed high voltages of 50-1000 ns width, voltage-current characteristics, time lags of current rise from that of voltage, and emission intensity profiles of the plasma have been investigated. Very high voltages up to several kilovolts can be successfully applied without any plasma nonuniformity on the electrode surface because the pulsed voltage drops before transition to arc discharge. during the pulsed period, very large current of more than 10/sup 3/ that of DC plasma can be established.<>

Increasing the dynamic torque per ampere capability of induction machines 提高感应电机每安培动态转矩的能力

A method for increasing the dynamic torque per ampere capability of induction machines is presented. The method developed is based on use of an indirect field-oriented controller (IFOC) for the induction machine. A dynamic method which achieves transient torques over 35% greater than the prior methods is identified. The limitations of the method and its sensitivity to detuning are examined.<>

An original solution for integrating a synchronous machine together with an epicycloidal gear into the wheel is presented. A description is provided of the prototype, particularly the electric part of it; it is a discoidal synchronous machine with ferrite permanent magnets. A comparison is made of the performance of the integrated driving wheel to those obtained with classical solutions.<>
