The European emission specifications 欧洲排放规范

The paper gives an overview of the current European emission specifications. They are not limited to radio frequency (RF) emissions, but deal with power frequency emissions-harmonics and voltage fluctuations-as well. RF emission specifications listed in the official journal of the European Communities follow generally the internationally accepted CISPR standards. Also related to a CISPR standard are specifications for the RF emissions of motor vehicles in the updated Directive 72/245/EEC. Specifications for medical electrical apparatus are not dealt with in this paper. An overview is also given of future developments of European emission specifications.

Investigation of the bulk current injection technique by comparison to induced currents from radiated electromagnetic fields 体电流注入技术与辐射电磁场感应电流的对比研究

Since the late 80s bulk current injection (BCI) techniques have gained wide acceptance in aerospace, commercial and military electromagnetic interference (EMI) testing. The BCI techniques provide a low cost and technically superior result to radiated techniques at low frequencies. There has always been conflict between adherents to radiated techniques and the newer BCI techniques. This investigation focuses on the degree to which BCI techniques accurately simulate the radiated mechanism of field-to-wire coupling.

In this paper we demonstrate the accuracy of the FDTD technique in calculating the signal propagation characteristics of a twisted pair transmission line. The PML absorbing boundary condition is applied in non-orthogonal coordinates in order to accurately model the wire contours with minimal error from sidewall reflections. The effects of the wire dielectric coating as well as the wire twist are examined.

Transient formulation of lossy ground return parameters for time-domain transmission line analysis 时域传输线分析中有耗地回波参数的瞬态表达式

New expressions of the ground impedance and admittance matrices for multiconductor line simulation are proposed, which are valid in a wide frequency-range. The time-domain formulation of the ground return parameters is obtained analytically by the inverse Fourier transform, based on the rational approximation in the frequency-domain. In the time-domain telegraphers' equations the convolution terms including the transient ground parameters are rearranged in order to achieve a more efficient implementation in numerical solution codes. The sensitivity of the proposed model to the ground conductivity and line geometrical parameters is investigated with reference to a three-conductor line. Comparisons with the results obtained by using the Carson ground impedances are carried out.

Modeling of radiated electromagnetic emission coming from interface cables of an equipment 设备接口电缆辐射电磁发射建模

In this paper we present a new radiated emission prediction method for equipment with relatively long interface cables by using cable current measurement techniques. It takes into account the current distribution waveform on the cable, the current fluctuation, the image effect of the cable, the emission maximization procedure at the OATS as well as the radiation pattern of the receiving antenna. It is proved to be a useful diagnostic tool to predict preliminarily electromagnetic emission from long cable equipment.

An optimization technique to minimize crosstalk in multi-layered and multi-microstrip-line board of high-speed digital circuits 高速数字电路中多层多微带线板串扰最小化的优化技术

Designing a digital circuit with faster clock rates, low power consumption, and minimal interline-coupling (or crosstalk) needs a critical board-level optimization. This paper refers to a multivariable optimization technique using a spectral domain approach such that the crosstalk and signal-distortions in multi-layered, multi-conductor microstrip-lines can be reduced significantly. Simulated results show that the maximum level of crosstalk in all the sense-lines can be reduced at least by 42% as compared to the method(s) employing non-optimization techniques.

Real performance of semi-anechoic chambers depending on absorber technology 半消声室的实际性能取决于吸收技术

Standardized measurement procedures for field homogeneity restrict themselves to antennas which have simple and stable radiation characteristics. However, the complicated radiation patterns of real devices might react with a greater sensitivity to their surroundings. In such a case larger errors in the field strength determination arise than are suggested by standardized compliance tests of alternate test sites. The demonstration of such discrepancies sheds new light on the suitability of all kinds of alternate test sites for EMC-testing as well as the suitability of different absorber technologies for anechoic chambers.

New and simple method for the direct measurement of microwave power radiated from gasketed seams 一种直接测量衬垫缝辐射微波功率的简便新方法

Summary form only given. Gasketed seams are currently characterized by the surface transfer impedance which relates applied excitation current density, J, on the input side of the gasketed seam to the open circuit voltage, VOC, on the output side. But this method gives no information on the power radiated into the output region. With the new method, VOC is measured directly with a simple hand-field voltage probe comprising a small-diameter semi-rigid coaxial cable that has the center conductor protruding about one-eighth of an inch beyond the solid metal shield. The probe is moved along the gasketed seam while contacting one side with the center conductor, and the other side with the shield. The average value of the square of VOC along the seam is related to the average power, PC, transmitted by the probe cable to a sensitive power meter. The total radiated power, PR, is then determined using the radiation conductance of the seam, as given by the authors' Eq. (7) on page 393 of the August 1995 EMC Symposium Digest (Atlanta).

Sources of problems in the GTEM field structure and recommended solutions GTEM现场结构中的问题来源及建议解决方案

The Gigahertz TEM (GTEM) cell is a special TEM device that is used for both emission and immunity testing up to 1 GHz and above. Based on previous comments and recommendations in IEEE EMC sessions and including suggestions from several members of international standardization groups a very practical as well as challenging experiment was conducted. The E-field structure of a GTEM 1750 has been further investigated in a number of relevant points within the test volume up to one Gigahertz. An empty cell as well as a loaded cell have been tested. The box under investigation was a metal cube of 30 cm. Additional support was gained from computer simulations, leading to more detailed field contour plots. Based on this work a number of improvements and retrofits for existing GTEM cells is given.

Smith","doi":"10.1109/ISEMC.1996.561199","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.1109/ISEMC.1996.561199","url":null,"abstract":"The Gigahertz TEM (GTEM) cell is a special TEM device that is used for both emission and immunity testing up to 1 GHz and above. Based on previous comments and recommendations in IEEE EMC sessions and including suggestions from several members of international standardization groups a very practical as well as challenging experiment was conducted. The E-field structure of a GTEM 1750 has been further investigated in a number of relevant points within the test volume up to one Gigahertz. An empty cell as well as a loaded cell have been tested. The box under investigation was a metal cube of 30 cm. Additional support was gained from computer simulations, leading to more detailed field contour plots.
