Looking back at thirty years since the founding of the sovereign Republic of Croatia, this article asks to what extent Croatia's electoral process has succeeded or failed in guaranteeing the democratic rights of citizens in a free, healthy, transparent and productive society. Through frank, revealing interviews conducted with noted Croatian political and humanitarian leaders, legal experts, and scholars, this article examines whether the electoral process serves to select leaders who act in the best interests of the people or of politicians with deep roots in the country’s troubled communist past. Does the law confront corruption, wrest control of the government from privileged elites, and result in policies that win public support and create a mandate that officials implement? Are political leaders and parties held accountable for their actions? The answers to these questions demonstrate the key role that electoral law plays in Croatia’s pursuit of its rightful destiny -- a democratic future.

The research findings and discussions presented a comprehensive analysis of the implementation of the Quality Family Village Program in Moya Village, Central Ternate Subdistrict, Indonesia. The program aimed to enhance family welfare and improve the quality of life at the village level through population programs, family planning, and related sector development. The success of the program was assessed using Edawar III's policy implementation theory, focusing on four key variables: Communication, Resources, Disposition, and Bureaucratic Structure. Communication played a pivotal role in program implementation, with intensive efforts to overcome initial resistance from the community. Various responsible institutions, including the National Population and Family Planning Agency (BKKBN) and the Family Planning Office (OPD-KB), were involved in the program. Assurance of success was linked to effective communication, coordination, and advocacy among cross-sector stakeholders. Resources, including budget allocation, staff involvement, and compliance with regulations, were well-managed, and evaluations were conducted regularly. However, challenges such as irregular budget disbursement and limited community participation persisted. The study highlighted the competence of Family Planning Counselors and their contributions to community development. Despite successes, community engagement remained an area for improvement. In conclusion, the program demonstrated effectiveness through well-managed resources and dedicated staff.

In the process of social and scientific progress and change recorded since the beginning of human history, the effort to communicate, learn new things and transfer the acquired knowledge from generation to generation stands out as an ongoing dynamic action and effort. The search for what is different and new and change has become a part of human nature.Dec. The desire for change has not been limited to a single area throughout human history, but has made itself felt on many issues. This process extends from the past to the present and has entered the field of interest of more than one area and subject by not focusing on a single area. Communication and informatics are also one of the areas that attract the most attention among these fields. Our era is called an information age, and society is turning into an information society with this change. In this context, learning processes have also been influenced by communication and information technologies to the necessary extent. In the process of Turkey's accession to the European Union, the most important element of integration manifests itself in the field of education. The employment of social workers in the health sector, who work in different institutions in terms of service areas, increased with the Health Transformation Program that started in the 2000s. There are some regulations that are accepted as a turning point in terms of the existence of social work in health institutions. The Patient Rights Regulation published in 1998 is one of them. Between 1998 and 2011, social workers were actively engaged in patient rights practices. In the process that started with the publication of the Medical Social Work Implementation Directive in 2011, the way for social workers to engage in professional interventions within the scope of medical social work has been paved. Today, there are issues regarding the units that social workers will take part in, in the published guidelines for the delivery of specific health services and in the standards determined for total quality management in health. Therefore, the need for specialization in the field of medical social work is increasing day by day. In this study, explanations about the field in the medical social work literature, the legislation on palliative care services and the standards regarding total quality management practices were examined. With this study, it is aimed to bring up the specialization and supervision needs of the social work profession, whose existence is accepted in the field of palliative care, and to emphasize the necessity of improving the professional infrastructure for the planned services. Keywords: Medical Social Work, Palliative Care, End of Life Care, Quality Standards in Health

Understanding love as a gift from the divine power, feeling the sensation of being in love, one desires to possess their beloved. If likened, it feels like the world belongs only to the two. This metaphor holds when the person we love also loves us in return. The commitment to marriage and building a family emerges from this feeling of love. In essence, marriage is the union of two individuals, only to be separated by death. It is love that sustains a marriage. However, some marriages fail to endure and result in divorce. In truth, no one desires a divorce, especially when the marriage is built upon love. Far from anyone's hope, a household may break apart. Divorce undoubtedly impacts the divorcing couple, the children affected, their families, and the church/community. The church has indeed provided guidance for couples before marriage and even support for families facing issues to prevent divorce. However, there needs to be more pastoral guidance for divorced couples post-divorce. This study examines how pastoral guidance can be offered to divorced couples to mitigate the effects on those in pre-divorce or post-divorce situations.

In rural environments of various nations in the Americas, such as Ecuador, in recent decades the emergence of entrepreneurship initiatives linked to the tourism sector has been seen, many of them aligned with the philosophy of rural and community tourism. An example is the tourist experience offered by the Afrochoteño Territory, in the northern Andes of the country. In this region, the communities of El Chota, Juncal, Mascarilla and Salinas have ventured for about two decades in the provision of tourism services of this type. The objective is to demonstrate the impact of the tourism sectoral public policy on the tourist experience in the Afro-Chotan territory. This is how, after the combination of secondary information review techniques, in contrast to the collection of field data that involves various actors in the Afro-Colombian tourist experience, the result was that they remain valid despite the significant gap in implementation. of public policy in favor of these initiatives.
