The COVID-19 pandemic had a great impact on the educational system, thus causing a loss of learning and a delay in knowledge in students, which led many to abandon their studies. The objective of the research was to analyze school dropout in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic in the students of Basic Superior of the Unidad Educativa Bachillero del Cantón Tosagua in the year 2021. The qualitative-quantitative approach was used since it analyzed, measured, and quantified data to present the information through statistical tables, 34 dropout students from the institution were considered, for which the data collection instrument was used; the survey addressed to parents and guardians of the courses where the dropout students were. The method used was the bibliographic, and analytical-synthetic, allowed to deepen the study, which was based on material found in books, magazines, blogs and web pages, which contained information related to the topic raised. The results showed that the COVID-19 pandemic had a negative influence on the educational system, since it led to less learning and an increase in school dropouts.

Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a type of structured, goal-directed psychotherapy. CBT is a form of psychological treatment that has proven to be effective for diseases such as depression, anxiety disorders, alcohol and drug use disorders, and eating disorders. Many studies show that CBT improves an individual's functionality and quality of life. In this respect, CBT differs from many types of therapy. Many studies have shown that CBT is very effective in the treatment of depression. In this case, the CBT process of E.K., who is 35 years old and has symptoms of major depression disorder, is described. After the last violent argument she had with her husband, she settled in the Women's Shelter. When the client applied for psychological support, psychoeducation and CBT techniques was done in fisrt place. Keywords: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Case Formulation, Major Depression Disorder.

In this study, the effects of favoritism attitudes and behaviors of school principals on teachers' performance will be examined. Nepotism is considered by many experts to be a sensitive situation in schools where education and training are applied, as it changes the organizational activities defined as the realization of goals and objectives set by a person. For this reason, according to the level of empathy of teachers, whether school principals are fair in their nepotistic attitudes and behaviors can be understood from the trust felt in the principal and their constructive, analytical approaches in the field of education. Administrators working in schools should manage their affairs by taking into account the principles of fairness and openness. Thus, school administrators will have drawn a picture away from nepotism by keeping an equal distance from their colleagues. It has been observed that teachers who are exposed to nepotistic attitudes question the concept of justice and even want to leave the school where they work. Because these behaviors negatively affect the teacher's performance. While the teacher should devote his motivation and achievement motivation to his students and profession in line with the education he receives, the teacher's professional task is disrupted due to spending his labor on problems arising from nepotism, as a result of which reluctance occurs and the motivation graph decreases. Nepotistic attitudes and behaviors negatively affect the achievement bar and efficiency of teachers in performing their professions. This situation can cause things to become impossible to get out of, and then it can't be executed after a while. As a result, teachers' job performance, motivation decreases and failure situations may occur. Key Words: School Principal, Teacher, Nepotism, Performance

By giving place to the historical structure of the issue of education and teacher training, the importance of darulmuallim and tutorials will also be understood. Because if it had been the establishment of organizations that train teachers in the modern sense at earlier dates, the line of development of education might have been different in history. The madrasas consisted of two parts, general and specialized madrasas. General madrasas train cadi, teacher and mufti, while specialized madrasas are in the form of Darulhadis, Medical Madrasas (Darüşşifa), Darulkurra, after the sibyan school, students attend madrasas, and the student who took lessons from teachers here rose step by step in science. Students who moved to madrasas after Sibyan school were seeing different lessons here. Candidates for teacher candidates used to take tafsir, hadith, law and fiqh courses. For this, he would have undergone a long and difficult training. After this process, which has undergone a long period of development, educational institutions began to be established in a modern sense. The first of the organizations that train teachers directly and with modern methods in the Ottoman Empire was established in Istanbul. Darulmuallimin-ı Rüştiye was opened in Fatih in 1848 under the leadership of Mekatib-ı General Minister Kemal Efendi, Yahya Efendi was appointed as a teacher with the title of head teacher in darulmuallimin, and Ahmet Cevdet Pasha was appointed as the director of the school in 1850. This institution was obliged to train male teacher candidates for rushdie school. Similar to these schools in Istanbul have started to be opened in different provinces of the Ottoman State.

Natural disasters are one of the biggest problems of humanity in recent years. Although earthquakes are the most common events in these disasters, they are also responsible for the majority of casualties. Disasters also affect socioeconomic, health and psychological areas by affecting societies in different dimensions. Due to the psychological traumas experienced by individuals after disasters, their lives are greatly affected. If the necessary psychological support is not provided, individuals may face more severe mental health conditions. The inadequacy of social awareness on this issue and the need arising from the unavoidable psychological consequences of the disaster reveal the necessity of specialization in this field and social support. While the process of culture until reaching the concept of popular covers popular culture and the areas identified with it; The concept of 'popular culture' constitutes the last leg of the emerging, developing and changing culture and has been the subject of academic literature in various ways, especially with music. What are the forces that trigger this phenomenon, which started with the change of the concept of culture? Or what lies behind the dominance of this culture? While answering these questions, it is necessary to see that all of these are rooted in culture and the base of the people, and that they have changed over time. The culture has changed and where the people are is very important. The culture, which was created by the society and then passed under the control of the capital order, has changed with different thoughts, formations and approaches. The point to be emphasized here is that the phenomenon called popular culture is related to the evolution of the concept of culture. This phenomenon, which is encountered in most areas of our lives, is under the necessity of examining it in the field of literature, because the music phenomenon to be studied in the future is the area that popular culture sheds the most light on. While examining popular culture between tradition and modernism with music, it is very clear that music is not examined under the name of art, at the latest point it has reached today, but under the changing cultural momentum. In this study, the distinctive characteristics of the discourse of Lady Gaga's songs in Fame Monster in 2009 and her single album Born This Way in March 2011 will be revealed. Also, a few lines from the Teeth song were taken for reference. The metaphorical structures that Gaga uses while meeting objects, people and actions in her lyrics, slogans and stereotypes, poetic images, emotional attitudes such as irony and santimantalism, and communication subtleties that reflect the cultural and folkloric texture established with the listener will be examined in terms of discourse analysis. Keywords: Popular culture, Music, Gender roles, Discourse
