Pendidikan Agama Islam bertujuan membentuk generasi berakhlak mulia. Pancasila adalah dasar negara Indonesia dengan sila pertama menyebutkan Ketuhanan Yang Maha Esa. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa negara ini menghormati Agama. Berdasar hal ini, Pendidikan Agama Islam sebagai pembentuk moral generasi Indonesia, yang merupakan generasi mayoritas. Indonesia bukan negara agama, tetapi menempatkan Ketuhanan Yang Maha Esa di urutan prioritas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan kajian literatur. Peneliti menemukan bahwa negara sekuler pun menempatkan pendidikan Agama, menjalani keyakinan dan kepercayaan sebagai bekal penting warganegaranya, dan dijamin oleh hukum negara. Agama, keyakinan, kepercayaan mempengaruhi psikologis dan kualitas individu yang berpengaruh pada kemajuan negara. Mengikuti penjelasan di atas/sebelumnya, Sistem Pendidikan Nasional menjadi pedoman pelaksanaan Pendidikan Agama Islam, sehingga output pendidikan yang ditarget sesuai dengan tujuan negara Indonesia. Kemudian keberadaan Kurikulum penting mengarahkan keberlangsungan Pendidikan Nasional tersebut.

Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Hasil peneitian ini adalah (1) Strategi yang digunakan dalam proses dakwah pendidikan agama Islam pada kelompok pengajian “Belajar dadi Wong Angon” yaitu, pendidik terlebih dahulu memastikan kesiapan peserta didik dalam menerima materi dakwah pendidikan agama Islam, memberikan suasana belajar yang nyaman dan damai, menyampaikan materi menyesuaikan dengan kapasitas peserta didik, memberikan kesempatan bertanya dengan menggunakan media telepon reguler konferensi atau telewicara (2) Faktor yang menghambat dianggap tidak ada (3) Faktor yang mendukung adalah seluruh komponen yang saling memberikan dukungan langsung.

Imam Muhammad Nawawi al-Jawi (al-Bantani) adalah salah satu tokoh intelektual muslim yang menjadi kebanggan umat Islam Indonesia. This study aims to determine the relationship between online game addiction and parents' educational background with interest in learning Islamic religious education in students of SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Sleman. Religious education is the primary education that is mandatory for children. On the other hand, the current globalization in the world of technology, especially online games, which spreads among children and adolescents, is one of society's problems. The dependence on playing online games, one of the impacts is the existence of problems in psychological aspects, one of which is decreased interest in learning, especially in the field of Islamic education. Meanwhile, one of PAI education roles is as a filter to form a sound generation in people's lives. The problem phenomenon above becomes the problem formulation that will be studied in this study related to how the relationship between online games and the educational background of parents with interest in learning Islamic education in children of SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Sleman. There are two variables to be studied: the independent variable addiction to online games and parents' educational background. The dependent variable is the interest in learning Islamic education. The analysis technique used to determine the relationship between the variables of online game addiction and the parents' background with the student's PAI learning interest variable used the product-moment correlation technique with SPSS software version 23. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be seen that the significance is more than 0.05, namely 0.850. Meanwhile, according to r table, the value of 0.05 is 0.2787. This means that there is a relationship between student interest in learning and addiction to online games. The higher the addiction to online games, the lower the interest in learning PAI. The result of the relationship coefficient or r count is 0.028, indicating a small or weak contribution from online game addiction to interest in learning, namely 28 percent.

Madrasas/schools that have certain advantages become choices, while those that are mediocre are increasingly being abandoned. In this situation, an effective madrasah competitive strategy will determine its competitiveness and survival. Based on this phenomenon, this study aims to uncover and find: (1) analysis of the internal and external environment of madrasas, and (2) strategies for increasing the competitiveness of madrasas. This research uses a case study type approach with a multi-site design. The research locus chosen was MI Ma'arif KH. Siddiq and MI Al-Hidayah Jember. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation. The collected data is then analyzed simultaneously, both at single sites and across sites, with the following techniques: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. All data were tested for validity through: feasibility test, transferability test, dependability test, and confirmability test. The results of this study find that first, the external environment of MI in the region faces a situation of intense competition because there are many SD/MI in the vicinity with a relatively close distance. Internally, MI is perceived as a formal educational institution oriented to religious education. However, each MI has its own uniqueness which is capitalized as a source of their respective advantages. Second, improving the competitive strategy chosen by MI is strengthening morals, accelerating Al-Qur'an learning, optimizing academic and non-academic achievements, and standardizing infrastructure.

Islamic education in the new normal era has at least given new hope, namely the implementation of education that is better than before. The learning system carried out during the pandemic has made us aware of the importance of innovation in the realm of education. This innovation was carried out in order to respond to social changes after Covid-19 and to face the all-digital industrial era 4.0. The changes made are by applying the concept of Merdeka Belajar which in general has several points, namely: 1) the replacement of the National Examination System with the AKM, the application of one page lesson plans, activating organizations, activating schools, activating teachers, and emergency curriculum.

This article attempts to analyze and find (1) the futuristic paradigm of Islamic religious education curriculum design (2) implementation of Islamic religious education curriculum design in character strengthening (3) the implications of Islamic religious education curriculum design on strengthening the character of students. This research implements a qualitative approach with a case study research type with a multi-case design model. The research was carried out at SD Plus Muhammadiyah Brawijaya, Mojokerto City and MI Ismailiyah New Paradigm, Mojokerto City. Data collection techniques apply in-depth interviews, observation of roles and documentation. Data analysis used multi-case analysis which was carried out in two stages, namely analysis of individual case data (individual case) and cross-case data analysis (cross case analysis). Checking data using credibility and confirmability. The results showed that: (1) Islamic religious education curriculum design based on the dynamics of life (adaptability centered design) was formulated as a response to the phenomenon of the transformation of the times and public interest (2) implementation of Islamic religious education curriculum design through textual and contextual learning models with a humanist approach. -religious and humanist-sufistic provide positive excesses in strengthening the character of students (3) the implications of Islamic religious education curriculum design on character strengthening are the formation of self-pity (behavioral attitude) with the intention of creating individuals who seek to get closer to Allah swt (taqarrub ilallah).

The character education during the Covid-19 pandemic has found significance. A survey conducted by Balitbang of East Java Province on community compliance with the use of masks and physical distance in the prevention of Covid-19 in Surabaya shows that 10.8% of the level of community compliance with the use of masks is very low, and 25.45% of the level of community compliance with physical distances is also very low. The survey above indicates that so far the character education taught in educational institutions has not made an impact and remains in people's behavior. Therefore the revitalization of character education during the Covid-19 pandemic is a must. This study aims to explore three main issues: 1) Covid-19 and online learning; 2) character education problems in online learning; 3) and revitalizing character education during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study used a descriptive-explatory and analytical approach. The data sources used are survey data, government policy circulars related to the Covid-19 pandemic and character-related laws and regulations. Data analysis used content analysis and continued with drawing conclusions. The findings of this study reveal that among the forms of revitalization are institutionalizing a holistic and character-based learning model, moral, value, religion and citizenship education, synergy of family, school and community education, and revitalizing the role of social media and mass media.

This study regards the implementation of the educational values of religious tolerance and nationalism in IBS of Islam Al-Islam, IBS of Karangasem Muhammadiyah, IBS of Sunan Drajat, and IBS of Modern Muhammadiyah Lamongan. This study applied a qualitative approach, interpreted with phenomenology approach, and natural setting method. The techniques of data collection were through observation, interview and documentation. The results of the technique of data collection were through data obtained analysis, data condensation, data grouping and verification. Furthermore, the validity of the findings used a focus group discussion (FGD) to test the validity of the research data. The results of the study included the implementation of educational values of religious tolerance through the role of Kyai, habituation and Islamic boarding school’s learning. While the implementation of nationalism values was through formal learning, extra-curricular, organization, speech, mutual cooperation, ceremonies and PHBN (Memorial of The National Day).
