Emojis e Hashflags: uma análise sóciorretórica da linguagem multissemiótica do Twitter 表情符号和Hashflags: Twitter多符号语言的社会修辞分析

Este artigo apresenta uma analise de emojis mapeados em 15 tuites, nos quais a confluencia de modos semioticos e primordial para a construcao de sentido, para a organizacao sociorretorica do genero discursivo microblog e para a escolha dos emojis. Considerando os pressupostos teoricos de Conole e Dyke (2004), Kress (2010), Kress e van Leeuwen (2006) e Danesi (2017), os tuites foram analisados e os emojis foram categorizados segundo Danesi (2017). A analise revela que, nos tuites examinados, os emojis sao empregados em tres funcoes: sintatica, como pontuacao; semântica, substituindo itens lexicais; e enfatica, como marcadores discursivos. A analise tambem identificou a presenca de hashflags, um novo tipo de hashtag da qual emojis customizados sao acionados. Nas hashflags dos tuites analisados, os emojis atuam como indice simbolico do conteudo semântico-pragmatico da hashtag, evidenciando a interdependencia entre os modos semioticos constitutivos dos tuites, bem como a dinamicidade das affordances do ambiente digital. Based on the theoretical assumptions of Conole and Dyke (2004), Kress (2010), Kress and van Leeuwen (2006) and Danesi (2017), the tweets were analyzed and the emoji were categorized according to Danesi (2017). The analysis reveals that, in the tweets examined, the emojis have been employed according to three functions: syntactic, as punctuation marks; semantic, replacing lexical items; and emphatic, as discourse markers. The analysis also identified hashflags, a new type of hashtag from which custom emojis are triggered. In the hashflags present in the analyzed tweets, the custom emojis act as a symbolic index of the semantic-pragmatic content of the hashtag, thus revealing the interplay between the semiotic modes in the tweets and the dynamic nature of the digital affordances. Rompendo silêncios: narrativas afrodescendentes no Brasil e na Alemanha 打破沉默:巴西和德国的非洲后裔叙事

O presente texto faz uma breve analise comparativa entre producoes literarias negras em lingua alema e em lingua portuguesa do Brasil. O foco da analise e o afronte a estrategia colonial do silenciamento, imposto ao povo negro em diaspora, operado na obra da poeta e ativista afro-alema May Ayim e da romancista afro-brasileira Ana Maria Goncalves. Trataremos da literatura da diaspora africana como ferramenta que “estilhaca a mascara do silencio” (EVARISTO, 2017), tanto na obra Um defeito de cor (2006), de Goncalves, como na poesia afro-alema de May Ayim e de sua traducao no Brasil, tracando paralelos e dialogos entre a literatura negra brasileira e a negra alema Breaking the silence: afrodescendant narratives in Brazil and in German The present text is a brief comparative analysis between Black literary productions in German and Brazilian Portuguese. The focus of the analysis is the defiance of the colonial strategy of silencing, inflicted on Black people in the diaspora, which can be seen in the work of the Afro-German poet and activist May Ayim and of the Afro-Brazilian novelist Ana Maria Goncalves. We will deal with African Diaspora Literature as a tool that “shatters the mask of silence” (EVARISTO, 2017), both in Goncalves's Um defeito de cor (2006), and in Ayim’s Afro-German poetry and its translation into Brazilian Portuguese, drawing parallels and dialogues between Black Brazilian literature and the Black German Literature. O que escuta o clínico/fonoaudiólogo frente à fala jargonafásica? 面对行话,临床医生/语言治疗师会听到什么?

Este trabalho problematiza a natureza da fala jargonafasica, a partir de uma aproximacao a Linguistica Estruturalista (Saussure e Jakobson) e a Psicanalise, que tem no cerne a interpretacao da relacao sujeito-linguagem (lingua e fala), como proposto pelo Interacionismo (DE LEMOS, 1992, 1997, 2002) e a Clinica de Linguagem (LIER-DeVITTO, 2000; ARANTES, 2001 e outros). Realizou-se uma analise linguistica de dados de fala jargonafasica retirados da literatura fonoaudiologica. Neles, destacou-se a importância de um refinamento teorico-clinico necessario para a construcao de uma escuta singular, que se afaste de metodos cientificos de descricao e classificacao. Foi abordado o funcionamento linguistico particular que comanda a fala afasica e seus efeitos no sujeito. A discussao perpassa, ainda, uma reflexao sobre a escuta do afasico e a interpretacao do clinico. What does the clinician/speech therapist listen in the face of the jargon-aphasic speech? This work proposes a problematization of the nature of jargon-aphasic speech, based on Structuralist Linguistics (Saussure and Jakobson) and Psychoanalysis, whose core is the interpretation of the subject-language relationship (language and speech), as proposed by Interacionism (DE LEMOS, 1992, 1997, 2002) and the Language Clinic (LIER-DeVITTO, 2000; ARANTES, 2001 and others). A linguistic analysis of jargon-aphasic speech was performed using the data from the speech-language literature. In the analysis of this data, it was emphasized the importance of a theoretical-clinical refinement necessary to the construction of a singular listening, different from scientific methods of description and classification. It was approached the specific linguistic mechanism that is responsible for the aphasic speech and its effects on the subject. It is also part of the discussion a reflection regarding the listening of the aphasic and the interpretation of the clinician. Keywords: Jargon aphasia. Language. O ensino de língua portuguesa e os gêneros do discurso: uma proposta para a escola básica 葡萄牙语教学与语篇体裁:对小学的建议

Este artigo resulta da oficina intitulada Generos do Discurso e Ensino: da teoria a pratica , aplicada por pos-graduandos do Centro Universitario Ritter dos Reis – UniRitter – Porto Alegre/RS, com professores da rede publica, como parte do projeto de extensao Sexta-Feira do Professor . A oficina teve como principal objetivo oportunizar aos docentes a reflexao a respeito dos generos discursivos por um vies pratico, tendo em vista a recomendacao dos PCN’s para o estudo dos generos na escola. Desse modo, buscou-se suprir possiveis lacunas e/ou duvidas dos docentes a respeito do que sao os generos discursivos e de como desenvolver atividades significativas a partir deles junto ao alunado, de modo a considerar a relacao de interlocucao estabelecida e o contexto de producao, recepcao e circulacao, conforme proposto por Bakhtin. A metodologia utilizada teve como base o Elevator Pitch ou Conversa de Elevador , proposta advinda da area empresarial, em que se objetiva vender uma ideia ou produto de forma sucinta e objetiva. Como resultados, pode-se dizer que a oficina atingiu seu objetivo, alinhando o engajamento dos docentes na atividade proposta e no debate suscitado a reflexao a respeito do estudo dos generos na escola e das adaptacoes necessarias a cada contexto de atuacao. Portuguese language teaching and the discourse genres: a proposition for the basic school This article is the result of a workshop for public school teachers entitled Genres of Discourse and Teaching: from theory to practice, applied by post-graduate students from the Centro Universitario Ritter dos Reis - UniRitter - Porto Alegre/RS, as part of the extension project Sexta-feira do Professor (Teacher’s Friday). The main objective of the workshop was to provide teachers with a reflection on the discursive genres from a practical perspective, in resonance with the recommendation of National Curricular Parameters regarding the study of genres at school. In this way, we sought to fill in possible gaps and/or doubts of teachers regarding what are the discursive genres and how to work with them in order to develop meaningful activities for the students, taking into consideration the established interlocution relationship and the production context, reception and circulation, as proposed by Bakhtin. The methodology used was based on the Elevator Pitch, proposed from the business area, which aims to sell an idea or product in a succinct and objective way. As a result, it can be said that the workshop achieved its objective, aligning the teachers' engagement with the proposed activity and the debate concerning the reflection on the study of the genres at school and the adaptations necessary to each context of action. A metodologia utilizada teve como base o Elevator Pitch ou Conversa de Elevador , proposta advinda da area empresarial, em que se objetiva vender uma ideia ou produto de forma sucinta e objetiva. Como resultados, pode-se dizer que a oficina atingiu seu objetivo, alinhando o engajamento dos docentes na atividade proposta e no debate suscitado a reflexao a respeito do estudo dos generos na escola e das adaptacoes necessarias a cada contexto de atuacao. Portuguese language teaching and the discourse genres: a proposition for the basic school This article is the result of a workshop for public school teachers entitled Genres of Discourse and Teaching: from theory to practice, applied by post-graduate students from the Centro Universitario Ritter dos Reis - UniRitter - Porto Alegre/RS, as part of the extension project Sexta-feira do Professor (Teacher’s Friday). The main objective of the workshop was to provide teachers with a reflection on the discursive genres from a practical perspective, in resonance with the recommendation of National Curricular Parameters regarding the study of genres at school. In this way, we sought to fill in possible gaps and/or doubts of teachers regarding what are the discursive genres and how to work with them in order to develop meaningful activities for the students, taking into consideration the established interlocution relationship and the production context, reception and circulation, as proposed by Bakhtin. The methodology used was based on the Elevator Pitch, proposed from the business area, which aims to sell an idea or product in a succinct and objective way. As a result, it can be said that the workshop achieved its objective, aligning the teachers' engagement with the proposed activity and the debate concerning the reflection on the study of the genres at school and the adaptations necessary to each context of action. A psicanálise na obra de David Foster Wallace: uma análise de caso do conto “Adult World” 大卫·福斯特·华莱士作品中的精神分析:短篇小说《成人世界》的案例分析

O presente artigo tem como objetivo estabelecer uma relacao entre o conto “Adult World”, de David Foster Wallace, e alguns conceitos psicanaliticos de Freud e da psicologia social, a luz da definicao de conto de Ricardo Piglia, proposta em suas “Teses sobre o conto”. A partir da constatacao de que Wallace retrata o mundo interno da personagem protagonista, levantamos a hipotese de que essas teorias da psicanalise sao definidoras nao so do funcionamento da mente dessa personagem, mas da propria estrutura da narrativa. Atraves de uma serie de exemplos, demonstramos como algumas nocoes freudianas – o conceito de “repressao”, a presenca do “inconsciente” e estudos sobre o investimento libidinal, para citar alguns – estao fortemente presentes na trama da narrativa. Dessa forma, torna-se possivel oferecer uma contribuicao aos estudos que relacionam literatura e psicanalise, evidenciando as contribuicoes que essa influencia mutua pode exercer sobre a cultura. Psychoanalysis in the work of David Foster Wallace: an analysis of the short story “Adult World” The aim of this article is to establish a relation between the short story “Adult World”, by David Foster Wallace, and some Freudian psychoanalytic concepts, as well as social psychology, in light of the definition of short story by Ricardo Piglia, as proposed in his “Theses on the Short Story”. Bearing in mind that this is a narrative which portraits the protagonist’s internal world, it becomes possible to defend the hypothesis that such psychoanalytic theories define not only the way the character’s mind works, but also the narrative itself. Through a series of examples, we demonstrate that some Freudian notions – the concept of “repression”, the presence of the “unconscious”, and studies regarding libidinal investment, to name a few – are present in the narrative. Therefore, it is possible to offer a contribution to the studies that seek to establish the relations between literature and psychoanalysis, as well as to demonstrate that such mutual influence could contribute to the cultural field. This paper studies the reception of Saussure’s thinking at the particular time when the reading of Course in General Linguistics came into contact with that of the anagrams. Between 1960 and 1980, the discovery of Saussure’s inquiries into poetics gave rise to passionate debates. We examine the main features, the issues and tacit knowledge which have characterized this first reception of Saussure’s anagrams. We show how, at that time, the anagrams impacted the reading of the Course in General Linguistics regarding three major points : linearity, the conception of the sign, and the role of the subject in Saussure’s theory.

O presente texto tem por objetivo discutir a associacao de Ferdinand de Saussure, em especial do Curso de Linguistica Geral , ao movimento estruturalista. Para tanto, serao revisitadas a nocao de sistema no Curso e a de estrutura em autores identificados com o Estruturalismo . Em um segundo momento, apresentar-se-ao as leituras de Saussure, propostas por Emile Benveniste, Henri Meschonnic e Gerard Dessons, com vistas a formulacao da nocao de discurso . Dessa forma, a reflexao aponta para a impossibilidade de se tomar o sistema saussuriano como estrutura, conforme o faz o movimento estruturalista, bem como para a impossibilidade de se reduzir a amplitude das reflexoes apresentadas no Curso . From the limits of Saussurean thought reduction to structuralist movement This paper intends to discuss the affiliation of Ferdinand de Saussure, especially the Course in General Linguistics, to the structuralism movement. To achieve this goal, the notions of system in Course in General Linguistics and structure in some structuralist scholars’ works will be revisited. Subsequently, the readings of Saussure’s work by Emile Benveniste, Henri Meschonnic and Gerard Dessons will be presented with special attention to the way the notion of discourse is constructed. Thus, this work shows that we cannot regard the saussurian system as a structure – as the structuralism does – and that the range of the reflections in the Course in General Linguistics cannot be underestimated.  Keywords: Saussure. Reflexões sobre os “fatos de sinonímia” nos manuscritos de F. de Saussure 对索绪尔手稿中“同义词事实”的反思

Nas obras Ecrits de Linguistique Generale (SAUSSURE, 2002) e Ferdinand de Saussure; Science du langage; De la double essence du langage (SAUSSURE, 2011), encontramos fragmentos e textos saussurianos atraves dos quais podemos acompanhar uma discursividade do linguista F. de Saussure sobre o que denominou de “fatos de sinonimia”. Refletir sobre tal discursividade parece-nos, sem duvida, um exercicio historiografico significativo para a ciencia da linguagem e, especialmente, para quem se interessa pelo pensamento do linguista genebrino. Assim, neste estudo, levantamos uma reflexao que toma como ponto de partida as seguintes questoes: 1. Quais razoes teriam levado F. de Saussure a se interessar pelos “fatos de sinonimia”? 2. De que maneira o linguista maneja com este tipo de manifestacao linguistica? Reflections on the “facts of synonymy” in F. de Saussure’s manuscripts This work aims to follow a certain reflection of the linguist F. de Saussure on what he denomined "facts of synonymy", through manuscripts organized in the Ecrits de Linguistique Generale (SAUSSURE, 2002) and Ferdinand de Saussure; Science du langage; De la double essence du langage (SAUSSURE, 2011). Considering the linguist's thinking on this question is a significant historiographical exercise for the science of language. Refletir sobre tal discursividade parece-nos, sem duvida, um exercicio historiografico significativo para a ciencia da linguagem e, especialmente, para quem se interessa pelo pensamento do linguista genebrino. Assim, neste estudo, levantamos uma reflexao que toma como ponto de partida as seguintes questoes: 1. Quais razoes teriam levado F. de Saussure a se interessar pelos “fatos de sinonimia”? 2. De que maneira o linguista maneja com este tipo de manifestacao linguistica? Reflections on the “facts of synonymy” in F. de Saussure’s manuscripts This work aims to follow a certain reflection of the linguist F. de Saussure on what he denomined \"facts of synonymy\", through manuscripts organized in the Ecrits de Linguistique Generale (SAUSSURE, 2002) and Ferdinand de Saussure; Science du langage; De la double essence du langage (SAUSSURE, 2011). Considering the linguist's thinking on this question is a significant historiographical exercise for the science of language. Thus, in this study, we raised a reflection guided by the following questions: 1. What reasons would have led F. de Saussure to take an interest in the \"facts of synonymy\"?; 2. O “som” como figura vocal e o “som” como signo: considerações a partir da dupla essência da linguagem “声音”作为声音的形象和“声音”作为符号:从语言的双重本质出发的思考

Este artigo propoe-se a discutir, a partir do conjunto de manuscritos intitulado De la double essence du langage , a que se refere esta dupla essencia reiterada pelo linguista Ferdinand de Saussure. Lancaremos mao, assim, da leitura da edicao critica organizada por Amacker (SAUSSURE, 2011), levantando os seguintes questionamentos: o que e essencial para que um sistema linguistico tenha existencia? O dado material e relevante para a construcao do fato linguistico? Qual a diferenca entre considerar-se o “som” como figura vocal e o “som” como signo? Optou-se por partir das ocorrencias de "figura vocal" no decorrer das consideracoes de Saussure a fim de compreender mais amplamente o papel da figura vocal e sua relacao com o conceito de forma. A problematizacao destas nocoes oportuniza a reflexao acerca do laco indissoluvel entre forma e sentido nos estudos saussurianos, assim como realca o importante papel do aspecto material vinculado a sua funcao significante. The “sound” as vocal figure and the “sound” as sign: considerations based on the double essence of language This article intends to discuss what the dual essence reiterated by linguist Ferdinand de Saussure refers to, based on the set of manuscripts titled De la double essence du langage . We will thus use the interpretation of the critical edition organized by Amacker (SAUSSURE, 2011), raising the following questions: what is essential for a linguistic system to exist?  Is material data relevant to the construction of the linguistic fact?  What is the difference between considering the "sound" as a vocal figure and "sound" as a sign? We chose to start from the occurrences of "vocal figure" in Saussure's considerations in order to more comprehensively understand the role of the vocal figure and its relation to the concept of form. The questioning of these notions enables the reflection on the indissoluble link between form and meaning in Saussurean studies and highlights the important role of the material aspect linked to its significant function.
