Dalam desain pendidikan pesantren ada satu hal yang sering dilupakan oleh para peneliti dalam melihat bagaimana orang-orang pesantren menyelesaikan konflik di antara mereka yaitu sebuah self-concept (konsep pribadi) dan conflict resolution (resolusi konflik) yang dikenal secara umum sebagai niat. Niat sendiri dalam dalam pandanga komunitas pesantren memegang peranan penting dalam segala tindakan seorang Muslim, baik sebagai makhluk pribadi (individu) ataupun makhluk sosial.Tulisan ini bermaksud membahas dua nilai luhur yang dijadikan self-concept dan sebagai conflict resolution antar sesama anggota santri yang diajarkan di pesantren. Dua nilai tersebut adalah niat dan paradigma rahmat li al-ala>min. Konsep niat mengetengahkan bahwa semua yang dilakukan hendaklah karena Tuhan dan untuk Tuhan, sedangkan paradigma rahmat li al-alamin diejawantahkan dengan perbuatan ihsan dan husn al-khuluq kepada sesama.

Keterampilan belajar adalah suatu keterampilan yang sudah dikuasai oleh siswa untuk dapat sukses dalam menjalani pembelajaran di kampus (sukses akademik) dengan menguasai materi yang dipelajari. Tujuan penelitian ini antara lain untuk mendeskripsikan: 1) keterampilan belajar siswa kelas X IPA di MAN 1 Pekanbaru?; 2) keterampilan belajar siswa kelas X IPS di MAN 1 Pekanbaru; dan 3) perbedaan keterampilan belajar antara siswa kelas X IPA dan keterampilan belajar siswa kelas X IPS di MAN 1 Pekanbaru?. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode komparatif. Instrumen yang digunakan yakni angket keterampilan belajar. Angket keterampilan belajar diadaptasi dari item pernyataan AUM PTSDL Format- 2 SLTA berkaitan dengan keterampilan belajar yang kemudian item pernyataan tersebut diperbaiki kalimatnya. Data dianalisa dengan menggunakan teknik deskriptif dan t-test. Temuan penelitian ini antara lain: 1) keterampilan belajar siswa jurusan IPA berada dalam kategori sedang yakni sebesar 71,58%; 2) keterampilan belajar siswa jurusan IPS berada dalam kategori sedang yakni sebesar 69,12%; dan 3) terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan keterampilan belajar antara siswa jurusan IPA dan IPS di MAN 1 Pekanbaru.

Penelitian dilatarbelakangi oleh sedikitnya penelitian di bidang strategi belajar kosa kata terutama yang mengeksplorasi strategi menghafal kosa kata yang digunakan oleh pelajar bahasa yang paling berhasil, padahal banyak ahli dan peneliti mengisyaratkan dan menemukan bahwa strategi menghafal kosa kata berpengaruh terhadap penguasaan kosa kata. Kemudian seterusnya diakui pula bahwa penguasaan kosa kata merupakan salah satu aspek paling menentukan terhadap kemampuan berbahasa. Oleh karena itu penelitian dilaksanakan dengan desain deskriptif kuantitatif, dengan melibatkan seluruh mahasiswa yang unggul dalam berbahasa Inggris di Jurusan Tadris Bahasa Inggris IAIN Padangsidimpuan sebagai responden. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan pemberian kuesioner dan wawancara, sedangkan penjaminan keabsahan data dilakukan dengan teknik cek dan ricek. Analisis dilaksanakan dengan menguraikan sejumlah pola-pola logis dan bermakna yang muncul pada jawaban kuesioner dan hasil wawancara secara kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan jawaban responden terhadap item-item kuesioner sangat bervariasi, meskipun demikian urutan 27 item strategi menghafal kosa kata dalam paket Scmitt dan Mc Charty (1997) berdasarkan frekuensi pemakaiannya oleh siswa ditemukan sebagai berikut: Strategi 14> 16> 20> 10= 1> 2> 23= 17= 3> 15> 12> 4> 22=11> 21= 5> 24> 25= 13> 26> 9> 6> 7> 27= 18> 8. Selain itu terdapat 8 item strategi lain yang digunakan responden untuk menghafal kosa kata Bahasa Inggris, tetapi tidak terdapat di dalam paket tersebut.

Akhlak yang senantiasa melekat pada prilaku seseorang menurut norma-norma atau penilaian yang diberikan sesuai perbuatan yang dilakukan tersebut. Perbuatan itu ditentukan pula dengan kriteria-kriteria yang jelas apakah baik atau buruk. Akhlak secara umum merupakan segala bentuk perbuatan yang memiliki ciri-ciri sebagaimana disebutkan di atas, yaitu perbuatan yang dilakukan atas kehendak dan kemauan. Kehendak dan kemauan yang dilakukan seseorang bila bertentangan dengan asas-asas ajaran Islam, yakni al-Quran dan Hadis Rasulullah SAW, maka tentu prilaku tersebut tergolong pada akhlak yang buruk. Prilaku yang buruk yang dilakukan oleh seseorang sebenarnya adalah karena ketidaksanggupan dirinya mengontrol nafsunya, karena nafsunya sudah menguasai dirinya, disamping pemehaman dan pengertian baik baginya tidak jelas, sehingga perbuatan buruklah yang dianggapnya baik. Padahal prilaku buruk sebenarnya sangat membahayakan bagi dirinya dan juga masyarakat. Lemahnya kesadaran bagi seseorang yang melakukan perbuatan keji tentu akan memberikan danpak yang lebih buruk lagi. Semakin lama manusia itu membiarkan dirinya dikuasai syaitan, maka semakin jauhlah ia ddengan Allah SWT, maka semakin tebal pula hijab-hijab nafsu dihatinya, seterusnya menghilangkan harapan manusia itu untuk mema’rifatkan dirinya dengan Allah SWT

Smoking is an act of waste and waste on property. The purpose of this study were to described: 1) smoking habits of students before giving Rational Emotive therapy? ; 2) student smoking habits after giving Rational Emotive therapy ?; and 3) the effectiveness of Rational Emotive counseling therapy in reducing students' smoking habits. This research was used pre test & post test design. The population in this research were all class X students of SMAN 3 Pekanbaru who had smoking habits with totaling 32 students. To determine the sample of this study, the researcher used purposive sampling. Then, through this technique, 5 students were used as the research sample. Besides, the data was analysed by using "t" test. Moreover, the result of this research showed that: 1) before given emotive rational counseling therapy, students smoking habits are in the high category with an average score of 92.6 and an average percentage of 77.167%; 2) after given emotive rational counseling therapy have decreased, students smoking habit are in the medium category with an average score of 66.8 and an average percentage of 55.667%; and 3) there is a significant difference between students' smoking habits before and have been given emotive rational counseling therapy that is equal to 4,691. This means that rational emotive counseling therapy is effective to reduce student smoking habits.

Language skills can be improved through the application of CIRC learning models, and the procedure of CIRC includes: teacher presentation, team practice, individual practice, peer preassessment, additional practice and testing. Then the last one is various activities which they elements in the CIRC learning model such as (1) reading each other's stories with group friends, (2) conclude stories, (3) listen to stories, (4) retell stories that have been read and heard in oral and written forms, (5) play drama, (6) write, edit, revise, and publish poetry with group friends.

The aims of this research are to describe: (1) the advantages of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning models; (2) Environmental material and efforts to preserve it; (3) Application of Contextual Teaching and Learning learning models in Islamic Education. This research is a field research study, with qualitative methods. The main instruments are observation, in-depth interview, and documentation. Research findings are: (1) The Contextual Teaching and Learning learning model can increase activity, creativity, independence to find material that is learned, as well as being able to explore, discuss, understand, and apply in daily life. (2) Environmental material consisting of biotic and nonbiotic which is very beneficial for living things, the effort to preserve it is by replanting, not exploiting, cutting, burning, penetrating, use must be in accordance with environmental ethics. (3) The application of the CTL model is in accordance with the existing steps, and has succeeded in activating students to seek, understand their own environmental theories, and be motivated to actualize in everyday life and be able to correlate with real life. The Islamic Educational teacher has been able to demonstrate one of the CTL principles namely making himself a model, role model, uswatun hasanah or a good example of preserving the environment.

Sistem pendidikan pada saat ini lebih mengutamakan pada pengembangan sikap Spiritual yang ada hubungannya dengan kecerdasan spiritual (SQ). Kecerdasan spiritual (SQ) sangat penting dibentuk dalam diri mahasiswa. Kenyataan di lapangan, proses pendidikan yang selama ini dilakukan dinilai belum sepenuhnya berhasil dalam membangun manusia Indonesia yang berkarakter. Di samping itu, dilihat dari perkembangan zaman saat sekarang ini, kebutuhan masyarakat sangat dipengaruhi oleh budaya barat. Oleh sebab itu, individu jika dinilai dari kecerdasan spiritualnya sangat memprihatinkan. Jika dihadapkan dalam permasalahan individu akan mengambil jalan yang tidak baik. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan kajian deskriptif dengan pendekatan korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Jurusan Manajemen Pendidikan Islam Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Ilmu Keguruan IAIN Kerinci angkatan 2015, 2016, 2017, dan 2018 dengan jumlah mahasiswa sebanyak 118 orang. Jumlah sampel diambil dengan menggunakan teknik Propotional Stratified Random Sampling sehingga diperoleh sampel sebanyak 91 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan skala likers. Analisis dilakukan dengan bantuan program SPSS Versi 20.00 dan data yang telah terkumpul dianalisis dengan cara (1) deskriptif data; (2) Pengujian Persyaratan Analisis; dan (3) Pengujian Hipotesis. Hasil Penelitian dijelaskan bahwa Pendidikan karakter dan lingkungan keluarga secara bersama-sama berkontribusi signifikan terhadap kecerdasan spiritual mahasiswa. Artinya, semakin tinggi pendidikan karakter dan hubungan lingkungan keluarga maka maka semakin tinggi kecerdasan spiritual mahasiswa.

Teachers as professional educators must have knowledge and abilities who suitable with their profession. The professionalism criteria educators have academic qualifications and competencies who includes; (1) Pedagogic Competence, (2) Personality Competence, (3) Professional Competence, and (4) Social Competence. All of these four competencies cannot stand alone, but are mutually integrated in learning; it means that they are based on one another components which underlie other components. Besides, to establish the children with character can be carried out by direct or indirect fostering of faith, worship, and character which is carried out gradually and continuously, as early as possible in accordance to the childrens’ habit and psychology development using various approaches. Meanwhile, among the right approaches is through a habitual approach, exemplary, educative and persuasive, advice and stories that can deep the heart. As exemplified by Allah and His Messenger in educating and teaching humans. The teacher professionalism will establish synergies between the implementation of knowledge transfer activities that continue to prioritize quality with the realization of moral students who uphold religious values. Building student character by instilling habits about good things so that students become understood (cognitive domain), instill values and instill what is permissible and what is not (affective domain), able to do (psychomotor domain) and set an example of life ( living model)

Teachers are required to be able to manage the class with good way. If the class has good managed, it is expected that students' learning motivation will be increased. The purpose of this study are to describes: 1) students' perceptions of the teacher's ability in class management at MTs Nurul Falah Airmolek, Subdistrict of Pasir Penyu, Indragiri Hulu Regency ?; 2) learning motivation of eighth grade students at MTs Nurul Falah Airmolek, Subdistrict of Pasir Penyu, Indragiri Hulu Regency ?; and 3) the relationship between students' perceptions of the teacher's ability in class management and learning motivation of eighth grade students of MTs Nurul Falah Airmolek, Subdistrict of Pasir Penyu, Indragiri Hulu Regency? This research was a correlation study, which connected the students' perceptions of the teacher's ability in class management and learning motivation of eighth grade students at MTs Nurul Falah Airmolek. The population in this study were all students of class VIII MTs Nurul Falah, there were 95 as the sample. Meanwhile, the population is not more than 100 people. Thus, the instrument used to collect data in this study is a questionnaire. The questionnaire has been tried out first to find the validity and reliability test. To determine the relationship between students' perceptions of the teacher's ability in class management and student learning motivation, the data was analyzed through contingency coefficient correlation techniques because the data produced are not normally distributed and not linear. The findings of this study showed that: 1) students' perceptions of the teacher's ability in class management at MTs Nurul Falah Airmolek, Pasir Penyu Subdistrict, Indragiri Hulu District, are mostly classified as medium; 2) learning motivation of eighth grade students at MTs Nurul Falah Airmolek, Pasir Penyu Subdistrict, Indragiri Hulu Regency, is mostly classified as medium; and 3) there is a relationship between students' perceptions of the teacher's ability to manage classes and learning motivation of eighth grade students at MTs Nurul Falah Airmolek, Pasir Penyu District, Indragiri Hulu Regency.
教师被要求能够用好的方法管理班级。如果班级管理得好,学生的学习动机将会增加。本研究的目的是描述:1)学生对Indragiri Hulu Regency Pasir Penyu街道Nurul Falah Airmolek MTs教师班级管理能力的看法;2) Indragiri Hulu Regency Pasir Penyu街道Nurul Falah Airmolek中学八年级学生的学习动机;3) Indragiri Hulu Regency Pasir Penyu街道Nurul Falah Airmolek中学八年级学生对教师班级管理能力的感知与学习动机的关系?本研究是一项相关研究,旨在探讨努鲁法拉艾莫瑞克中学八年级学生对教师班级管理能力的认知与学习动机之间的关系。本研究的总体为八年级Nurul Falah学生,共95人作为样本。同时,人口不超过100人。因此,本研究中收集数据的工具是问卷调查。首先对问卷进行了试算,进行了效度和信度检验。为了确定学生对教师班级管理能力的看法与学生学习动机之间的关系,由于产生的数据不是正态分布,也不是线性的,因此通过权变系数相关技术对数据进行了分析。本研究结果显示:1)学生对Nurul Falah Airmolek、Pasir Penyu街道、Indragiri Hulu地区的教师班级管理能力的感知大多为中等;2) Indragiri Hulu Regency Pasir Penyu街道MTs Nurul Falah Airmolek的八年级学生学习动机多为中等;3) Indragiri Hulu Regency的Nurul Falah Airmolek学区、Pasir Penyu学区、Nurul Falah Airmolek学区八年级学生对教师课堂管理能力的看法与学习动机之间存在关系。
