Image description and characteristic extraction are the most important steps of color-Base image retrieval. This paper proposed a new method based on the related methods of graph theory. The new method defines every parts of the images as a vertex, than calculate the similarity measure as the weight value to design a weighted bi-partite graph. The congruent relationship between images is transform into searching the optimal matching in this bipartite graph. In the new method, both color dimensional distribution and geometric transformation invariance are considered. The simulation results show the effectiveness of the novel method.

Because of the limitation of time-shifting support, the problem of mismatch between logical network and physical network for current real-time streaming media system, we propose DRPSS, a structured peer-to-peer real-time streaming system model which can provide live and time-shifted streams, mainly discuss the model cache algorithm and the improved approach of building DHT keyword. In this way, DRPSS improves data delivery performance and routing efficiency. Our simulations show that DRPSS can achieve higher transmission efficiency and service quality.

UML activity diagram is an important component of software design model based on UML, because it describes the dynamic behaviors of a software system. It becomes a valuable information source in software integration test. We present a workflow modeling method based on the improved UML acting diagram after introducing the UML language in this paper. The modeling for checking is described and analyzed. The result shows that the improved method can achieve better effect in describing workflow modeling progress than conventional approaches. Hence it provides an approach to model checking UML ADs by model-checker FDR. Finally, the formalisms and model checking are explicitly illustrated through a simple but non-trivial example.

Traveling Sales Problem is one of the NP complete problems. The TSP Problem is transformed into a minimized optimal problem without being constrained. The Ant Colony Optimal algorithm has a good effect in solving the TSP problem. This paper discusses the application of the NAX-MIN ant system in the path search of the earthquake emergency rescue. We construct a mathematical model which is based on the earthquake disasters. Then according to the specific characteristics of the model, we improved the max-min ant system that executes the rescue path search, use the mixed-update strategy of global iterative and global iterative and confine the ants to limited entries. So the optimized algorithm can overcome the shortcomings of conventional algorithms, such as slow convergence, easily trapped in local optimum, etc.

An improved edge detecting algorithm based on mathematical morphology and Multi-structure is proposed to overcome the limitation which embarrasses the performance of the traditional edge detection methods. Making use of the super performance of the morphological reconstruction and multi-structure, the morphological reconstruction filter has been designed which it can solved the difficulty of predigest image and hold edge information. After using the new edge connecting method based on gradient direction, the ultimate edge is obtained. The experimental results indicate that the new method is better than the traditional edge detection method, and the cells image edges are consecutive and identical.

This study empirically explores a cube-shape tool based on computer vision, focusing on the properties of its input modalities and design space. By tracking the fiducial marker on each side of the cube in real-time, basic operations such as flipping, rotating and tilting can produce various input modalities. We present the results of an experiment that investigate the use of these input modalities to perform a set of experimental tasks. In the experiment we design a discrete angle selection task, varying the angle position and interval. Based on the experimental results, we discuss implications for the design of cube-based interaction techniques.

Due to the incipient gear fault vibration signal are covered by heavy noisy, it is difficult to diagnose the gear faults just according to the time or frequency spectrum of the signals. The comparison results of the virtual prototype model simulation and the experimental test also prove that the traditional Fast Fourier Transform Algorithm (FFT) analysis is not appropriate for the gear fault detection and identification. The Wavelet Back-Propagation (BP) Neural Network therefore was applied to extract the feature sets of the gear fault vibration data and classify the faults. At the first step, the wavelet analysis was employed to decompose the vibration data, and for each sample its energy of each sub-band was calculated and then treated as the input feature vector for the BP network training. By means of this approach the gear defection can be detected and recognized. The experiment test results show that the method based on wavelet BP network is available and reliable for gear fault diagnosis, and the monitoring and identification of different gear conditions, including normal, wear, and tooth broken, are accomplished with high classification accuracy.

Skyline query is widely used in many applications, such as multi-criteria decision making, data mining and visualization, as well as Location-Based Services (LBS). The previous works about skyline mainly focuses on static attributes, such as Branch and Bound Skyline and Probabilistic Skyline. However, due to the requirements in the privacy-protection as protecting individual position and individual information in LBS, a cloaking region of a user instead of his exact position should be cared. To protect privacy of users’ location, dynamic attribute such as uncertain user position should be introduced to skyline. In this paper, two novel skylines query, Range to Ranges Skyline Query (R2R Skyline Query) and Point to Ranges Skyline Query (P2R Skyline Query), are introduced to deal with the privacy problems in LBS. Firstly we propose a R2RSQ algorithm, based on effectiveness pruning mechanism, to answer R2R skyline query, where the spatial attributes of data are all dynamic. Then, R2RSQ algorithm is extended to solve P2R skyline query by its generality. Lastly, extensive experiments using real data sets demonstrate the efficiency and effectiveness of our proposed algorithms in answering R2R skyline query. Our experimental results show that Privacy-Preserving skylines are significant and useful, and R2RSQ algorithm can efficiently support Privacy-Preserving skylines, especially, R2RSQ is efficient on large datasets with dynamic attributes.
