The article is aimed to systematically review evidence-based data published in foreign literature on influence of level and characteristics of occupational noise on hearing loss. Search of the literature was based on key words "occupational noise exposure, permissible exposure limit, dose-response relationship, acceptable noise level, noise-induced hearing loss" The authors studied 349 publications, 7 out of which were included into the present systematic review. Findings are that developed countries demonstrate a tendency to decreased prevalence of hearing loss among workers exposed to noise. Occupational groups with increased risk include workers of mining, machinery, light industries and agriculture. Lower occupational risk or no risk of hearing loss is seen in education, transport workers, musicians and other groups. Occupational noise level of 80 dB is a theoretically minimal exposure level resulting in no increase in hearing loss risk. Following normal noise level at 85 dB could decrease prevalence of hearing loss due to noise.

The article characterizes occupational factors including acoustic ones that influence work conditions of civil aircraft crew members, presents methodic basis to evaluate parameters of aviation noise inside cabin, with consideration of additional load from aviaheadsets. To specify scientifically based method for calculating acoustic load on civil aircraft crew members in cabins, the authors measured noise parameters inside cabins of aircrafts used at present in Russia, and noise-proof properties of domestic and foreign aviaheadsets. Normalized values suggested: equivalent level of A sound over a month (LA,,m), over a year (La); suggestions for reference values: equivalent level of A sound (Leg), over an arbitrary period of piloting length (L,r); coefficient of piloting load. Principles of these calculations are determined. The method is designed as an addition to sanitary rules and regulations 2.5.1.2423-08, determining hygienic requirements to work and rest conditions for civil aircraft pilots.

Examination covered 245 individuals and included characteristics of endocrine state of pulp and paper plant workers over 2011-2012, in comparison with data from 1990, as well as comparison with reference groups of male workers with no contact with chemical'industry in Arkhangelsk. Findings are both in main and reference groups general decrease in levels of cortisol, thyroxin;progesterone, testosterone, insulin, somatotropin and increased serum level of estradiol. With that, inside both groups, reliable tendencies to increased levels of cortisol, thyroxin, insulin, SSH and lower concentration of progesterone in the pulp and paper plant workers vs. the reference group members. Positive tendency was absence of abnormal concentrations of insulin, SSH and lower frequency of high cortisol levels in the pulp and paper plant workers nowadays.

The authors studied two types of morbidity among adults of Moscow over 2012-2014 - primary and occupational. Findings are that those levels in the city are significantly lower than the general in Russia. Over the studied period, the structure of both types of morbidity did not change, but there was a tendency to decrease both in total and in main entity classes of general and occupational diseases.

For biomonitoring of exposure in workers with insectocaricides, the authors created a method of multi-component assessment oflowlevels of neonicotinomides in workers' urine, based on last generation tandem liquid mass-spectrometry (triple quadrupole) with ionization source - electrostatic dispersion (positive ionization) in dynamic multi-reaction monitoring with two transitions of parent ions (for quantitative assessment and ionic ratio confirmation). After the work, the operators gave urine samples (about 100 ml in average) that were frozen and kept under -20⁰C before analysis. Samples were defrozen before analysis, and each urine portion of 5 ml was diluted by equal volume of 0,1% formic acid. To extract substances out of the samples, solid-phase extraction (cartridges based on octadecylsilane) was applied, elution was performed with 1 ml of methanol. Lower limit of the substances detection in urine - 0,02-0,05 ng/ml, lower limit of the quantitative assessment - 0,1-0,2 ng/ml. The method was tested on monitoring of the workers' exposure to preparations based on imidaclopride and clotianidine in natural conditions of pesticides use in agriculture with various processing technologies. midacloprid was identified in urine of 3 professional operators after wheat and oat seeds treatment and after subsequent seeding at lower limit of detection (0,02 ng/ml), lower limit of quantitative assessment (0,1 ng/ ml) and 0,34 ng/ml.

Using a complex of contemporary audiologic methods (high-frequency audiometry, acoustic reflexometry registration of otoacoustic emission at aberration product frequency), examination covered 483 underground miners exposed to intensive noise. The most sensitive methods to diagnose early changes in fuctional state of hearing analyser at stage when tonal audiometry fails to determine hearing thresholds are otoacoustic emission at aberration product frequency (sensitivity 75%) and hearing study in extended frequency rating (sensitivity 65%). The authors specified a complex of informative parameters for early diagnosis and group risk identification of occupational deafness. Advisability is to include contemporary electroacoustic and neurophysiologic audiologic methods into routine periodic medical examinations.

Comparative evaluation covered work conditions in contemporary sulphate cellulose productions with various levels of mechanization and automation. Findings are that major work hazards for cellulose production workers are: polluted workplace air with chemical complex (methylsulphurous compounds, chlorine, chlorine dioxide, alkaline aerosol) in concentrations exceeding MAC, heating microclimate, noise. Levels of workplace air pollution with chemical hazards and transitory disablement morbidity parameters are considerably lower in highly automated production.

One of the main parameters characterizing workers' health state is transitory disablement morbidity. Among the occupational groups of railway workers in Mongolia, conductors occupy first place in morbidity, with values over 2.4 times higher than an average for all railway workers. Findings are high level of occupational conditionality for cardiovascular diseases (RR = 3.22; EF = 69; c2 = 7.46) and for genito-urinary tract diseases (RR = 4.84; EF = 79; c2 = 20.21), and diseases concerning pregnancy, delivery and post-partum (other obstetric conditions) (RR = 11.85; EF = 92; c2 =.11.21).
