Impact of PLL Design on Data-Driven Models for Grid-Connected Single-Phase Inverters 锁相环设计对并网单相逆变器数据驱动模型的影响

This paper investigates the impact of quadrature signal generation based phase-locked loop (QSG-PLL) methods on data-driven modeling of grid-connected single-phase inverters (GCSI). The magnitudes of the grid voltage and current injected by a GCSI simulated in MATLAB/Simulink are estimated by each QSG-PLL approach. The best transfer function for the GCSI model is estimated in terms of goodness of fit, using the magnitudes obtained by each approach and the instrument variable system identification approach. Different grid disturbances (e.g., voltage sag, phase angle jumps, harmonic distortions, frequency fluctuation) are used to evaluate the performance of each data-driven model in comparison to the simulated model. The paper provides researchers guidance on which QSG-PLL to use to model GCSIs using data-driven methods.

Selection of NdFeB Bonded Magnets Prepared by Compression Molding for Application in Assisted Reluctance Machine 辅助磁阻机用压缩成型钕铁硼粘结磁体的选择

The popular assisted reluctance machines are in continuous development, primarily due to the implementation of the bonded magnets. NdFeB bonded magnets are an alternative solution with respect to sintered ones for their capability to be produced in very complex shapes and customized magnetic characteristics. Different technologies and material combinations can be used to make bonded magnets. The several NdFeB bonded magnets prepared by compression molding have been investigated. Once a compromise is found among the proposed solutions, the prototype of assisted reluctance machines is produced and tested. The experimental results confirm high torque density.

Analysis of fault data in urban electric distribution grids: lesson learned from Milan, Italy 城市配电网故障数据分析:意大利米兰的经验教训

Reliability and resilience have been among the most significant concerns for distribution system operators. As a result, in the last decades, many states introduced performance-based regulations to push distribution system operators to effectively evaluate the investments and preventive actions to improve the quality of the service offered to customers. To do that, one of the enabling factors is a preliminary investigation of the distribution network reliability and resilience, passing through a detailed analysis of historical fault data. The article presents the results of a statistical evaluation of real fault data relating to the electricity distribution network of Milan, Italy. Due to the urban nature of the considered distribution network, the analysis mainly focuses on the phenomenon of heatwaves and network resilience. However, some considerations are also given for reliability-related issues. The lessons learned from the investigation represent a valuable input to be used by the local distribution system operators, Unareti, to plan and operate the distribution grid.

A Resonant hybrid multilevel inverter 一种谐振混合多电平逆变器

A high efficiency resonant multilevel inverter for motor drive applications is proposed in this paper. It consists of an Open-end Winding AC machine connected from one side to a three-level inverter and on the other side to a resonant DC link inverter. The main three level inverter is low frequency modulated and manages the entire active power while the resonant DC link inverter works as an active power filter. The obtained configuration can operate at high switching frequency because switching power losses are minimized on the main inverter thanks to a simple step modulation and on the auxiliary one because of zero voltage switching. A sigma-delta modulation is adopted on the auxiliary inverter, while a proportional resonant regulator manages the load current. Simulation tests demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed configuration.

Characteristic Parameters for Electrical Bearing Damage 电气轴承损坏特征参数

This paper focuses on different parameters to describe the sensitivity of a powertrain, consisting of a two-level voltage source inverter and an AC motor, to an electrical bearing damage due to bearing currents. This damage is mainly caused by fluting of the bearing raceways. Two characteristic parameters for electrical bearing damage have been introduced: apparent bearing current density $hat{J}_{b}$, apparent bearing power $hat{S}_{b}$ and the related electrical bearing wear which are compared and discussed. Both have in common the electrical bearing current amplitude. This current is measurable via modifications at the bearing shields. Long-term tests with different apparent bearing current densities lead to a probabilistic prediction of critical values, above which bearing damage may occur due to fluting.

Dynamical Diagnostic method for Solar Panels Health Maintenance 太阳能电池板健康维护的动态诊断方法

We propose in this article to explore a dynamic diagnostic approach that will allow to estimate the future degradation of a solar panel, and to determine the “Remaining Useful life time “RUL” according to the electrical energy demand. This algorithm uses the linear interpolation method “LIM” to translate the I(V) characteristic of the solar panel to the standard test condition “STC” in order to calculate the maximum power of the PV panel,and then applies a monthly random degradation to make a dynamic prediction using a linear regression that will adjust with each new monthly degradation to estimate the RUL. we tested the algorithm with a random degradation per month of a sum corresponding to 20% of the maximum power of the PV panel during 25 years which correspond to the reliability of the PV panel, we also added4 abrupt random degradation between 0.5% and 0.8% of the maximum power of the PV panel to try to simulate the occurrence of critical defects and see the impact on the prediction of the algorithm. The prediction of the algorithm for the first test converged 20 months before the maximum power of the PV panel became lower than the electrical energy demand, for the second test it converged 11 months in advance, but the algorithm made an error of 4 months due to the abrupt degradation that distorted the prediction. These results will allow us to contribute to a realistic Pronostic of PV panel lifetime and performance with real-time data to improve reliability and maintenance schedules.

Reconfigurable Cascaded Multilevel Converter design for Battery Energy System Storage 电池储能系统可重构级联多电平变换器设计

This paper presents the Reconfigurable Cascaded Multilevel converter employed for battery energy storage systems. The main advantage lies on the possibility to fully control each battery cell, improving the overall performances of the storage system. Indeed, the Reconfigurable Cascaded Multilevel Converter is compared with a CHB grid tie converter and two-level inverter, in terms of filter design, power losses and battery losses. The analysis results show that, under the same operative condition, the inductive filter required is at least 70% less than the other two topologies. Moreover, the RCMC provides the highest converter efficiency in all operative conditions.

Analysis of topologies used for SiC MOSFET circuit modelling 用于SiC MOSFET电路建模的拓扑分析

At the power converter design stage, the use of simulations is very advantageous provided that the power device model is accurate and enables a fast simulation. To reach these targets, the device model is usually obtained through a divide et impera approach, where each block of the model emulates a specific device characteristic. Such an approach facilitates the development of an accurate model that need low computation effort. The topology used for modelling a Silicon Carbide (SiC) MOSFET can make difficult to reach these targets since the interaction among blocks hinder the aforesaid approach. With this in mind, this paper identifies the problems related to the different topologies proposed by industry and academia. Some solutions are proposed for each type of unwanted interaction that has been detected. Finally, an ideal topology that minimizes interactions is proposed.
