Open innovation has so far been studied mainly in high-tech, multinational enterprises. This conceptual paper on innovation ecosystem studies scrutinizing open innovation practices that has been applied by firms focusing on small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Within the review, we defined the innovation ecosystem, explaining on the innovation issues in SMEs, open innovation as well as close innovation. SMEs pursue open innovation primarily for market-related motives such as meeting customer demands, or keeping up with competitors. Their most important challenges with open innovation are securing the trade secrets. However, SMEs have option either to proceed with open innovation or closed innovation. Open and close innovation has its benefit and weakness; therefore SMEs must identify their main objectives in the business. The future directions of this issue are discussed.

This study will explain the impact of China-Pak Economic Corridor (CPEC) on logistic system of China and Pakistan. This project is estimated investment of US $90 billion, CPEC project is consists of various sub-projects including energy, road, railway and fiber optic cable but major portion will be spent on energy. This project will start from Kashgar port of china to Gwadar port of Pakistan. Transportation is sub-function of logistic that consists of 44% total cost of logistic system and 20% total cost of production of manufacturing and mainly shipping cost and transit/delivery time are critical for logistic system. According to OEC (The Observing Economic Complexity) currently, china is importing crude oil which 13.4% from Persian Gulf. CPEC will china for lead time that will be reduced from 45 days to 10 days and distance from 2500km to 1300km. This new route will help to china for less transit/deliver time and shipping cost in terms of logistic of china. Pakistan’s transportation will also improve through road, railway and fiber optic cabal projects from Karachi-Peshawar it will have speed 160km per hour and with help of pipeline between Gwadar to Nawabshah gas will be transported from Iran. According to (www.cpec.inf.com) Pakistan logistic industry will grow by US $30.77 billion in the end of 2020.

Measuring and evaluating nurses’ performance are vital to identify areas for improvement in maintaining quality of service delivery and ensuring sustainability of current practices. This study attempts to examine the content validity of the nurses’ performance scale. It is also aimed to achieve acceptable criteria for content validity of this instrument. Construct and content domain of nurses’ performance were identified followed by items generation and instrument formation. Subsequently, assessments of content validity were performed based on content validity Index (CVI), Inter-rater agreement percentage (IRA%) and modified Kappa statistic. Two level of judgement were performed using the lay expert panel and research expert panel. Criteria were established based on these indices as basis for item reduction process. Pilot study was conducted on 50 respondents to assess the internal consistency using Cronbach’s alpha value of finalized NPQ instrument. 71 items are yielded during developmental stage of instrument to measure four dimensions of nurses’ performance. Assessment of content validity based on lay and research expert judgement resulting in elimination of 27 items (38%). Computed modified Kappa statistic further supplemented that the remaining 44 items as ‘excellent’. As for conclusion, NPQ instrument has attain acceptable criteria of content validity assessment utilized in this study and therefore proved its potential for further research

The aim of this research is to analyze the effect of Quality of Work Life toward job performance and work satisfaction at education staff in Islamic University of Riau. This research employs descriptive method and quantitative approach. This research also employs causality or influence relationship model. This research use SEM (Structural Equation Model) Analysis and Partial Least Square (PLS) for data analysis. The results of this research conclude that are: 1) Quality of Work Life affects to the performance of employees with path coefficient value is 0.220147 and t value is 4.91345 (t table 1,97202). It means that the education staff who have a high Quality of Work Life will be able to increase their performance. 2) Quality of Work Life also affects to the job satisfaction with path coefficient value is 0.5787916 and t value is 12.802941 (t table 1,97202). It means that the education staff who have high Quality of Work Life will be able to improve their performance, and 3) Quality of Work Life also affects to the education staff performance with the mediation of work satisfaction with path coefficient value is 0.219740 and t value 6.582756 (t table 1,97202). It means that the education staff who have Quality of Work Life also have high work satisfaction as mediation and will also improve their performance. Further research, it need more variables to analyze for improving the Quality of Work life and education staff performance.

The aim of this research is to determine the potential of culinary tourism in development of sharia tourism at Pekanbaru city. The subject of this research is culinary tourism in Pekanbaru city, while the object is the potential of culinary tourism in Pekanbaru city. The sampling technique employs simple random sampling, while data collection techniques by distributing questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis used descriptive method and SWOT Analysis where the calculation process uses IFAS, EFAS, and IE matrices. The result of this research found that there is a positive influence on potency of culinary tourism in development of sharia tourism at Pekanbaru City. It can be seen from the metric IFAS value is 3.25, while the result of metric EFAS value is 2.82. Based on the IFAS and EFAS matrices, the final result in the IE matrix shows that there is a significant potential in the cell. In general, it can be concluded that the potential for culinary tourism in development of sharia tourism at Pekanbaru city has good potential.

The purpose of this research was to determine the influence of self esteem and job stress on employees performance and the role of job satisfaction as an intervening variable in PT Binor Karya Mandiri Paiton Probolinggo. The populations of this research are all employees in PT Binor Karya Mandiri Paiton Probolinggo, amounting to 71 people. The sample in this study is the entire population or by using census methods. The type of this reseach is explanatory research. Path Analysis has treated as the data analysis in research. The result of this study shows that self esteem has a positive and significance influence toward job satisfaction and employees performance , job stress has a negative and significance influence toward job satisfaction and employees performance , job satisfaction has a positive and significance influence toward employees performance, self esteem has a positive influence toward employees performance through the job satisfaction of the employees in PT Binor Karya Mandiri Paiton Probolinggo, job stress has a negative influence toward employees performance through the job satisfaction of the employees in PT Binor Karya Mandiri Paiton Probolinggo.

Pangandaran is one of the tourist destinations in Indonesia which has developed and has fairly strategic potential to encourage the regional and state economy. The rapid development of tourism in Pangandaran turned out to cause various problems. This is due to the lack of synergy among the roles of stakeholders involved in Pangandaran tourism management. In 2010, the Destination Management Organization (DMO) concept was implemented as an effort to improve the tourism destination governance in Pangandaran. This concept emphasizes the form of collaboration among stakeholders from community groups, the private sectors, and the government. The collaboration is led by the destination management organization (DMO) which serves as mediator, facilitator, and coordinator among the three stakeholder groups. This research is conducted in Pangandaran Village using mixed method which combines quantitative and qualitative research methods aimed to analyze the stakeholders who are involved in tourism destination governance in Pangandaran based on the DMO concept. From the results of the study, it is found that there are ten stakeholders who have high involvement on the tourism destination governance in Pangandaran. The result of this research found that : 1) there is a significant effect of managerial competencies toward job satisfaction with path analysis of 0,234; 2) there is a significant effect of compensation on job satisfaction with path analysis of 0,233; 3) there is significant effect of career planning on job satisfaction with path analysis of 0,237; 4) there is a significance effect of managerial competencies on employee performance with path analysis of 0,339; 5) there is a significance effect of compensation on employee performance with path analysis of 0,264; 6) there is a significance effect of career planning on employee performance with path analysis of 0,222; 7) there is a significance effect of job satisfaction on employee performance with path analysis of 0,208. This research also found that the most influence factors is the managerial competencies.
本研究旨在了解PT. BANK BTPN Tbk微型银行事业部(MUR)北干巴鲁分行的执行管理能力、薪酬和职业规划对员工绩效的影响。本研究的人口数量为PT. Purpose of the Study Technology revolution have made the communication and information sharing quite easy and approachable around the world. Such technology platforms comes under the category of social media. However, social media bring the ease of the communication and information sharing along with negative effects on health in case of extreme usage. Especially, youngsters have encounter with negative effects of the social media platforms like bad academics performance and health (Murray et al., 2012). Therefore, increase in the number of the psychiatrist patients has occur especially of young age including college and university students. This negative effect of extreme use of social media on society cannot be ignored. Thus, current study examines the association of social media usage with depression among the collge students. Methodology The correlational study design are used and data was getheared through self administered questionnaire. Respondents were selected through simple random sampling and questionnaire were distributed to 155 students of Nisa girls college and Nursing College, Allama Iqbal Medical College through . SPSS version 21 apply the tests of frequency distribution, reliability and validiy, correlation and regression. Findings The results reveal that there exists positive and significant relationship between social media usage and depression (P<0.000) among the college students. It is the responsibility of the parents and management of educational institutes to spread the awareness and focus on the measures to avoid its extensive usage among the young adults. Significance The increase of depression among the young adults have severe damages to the society and raise the concens of the parents. This study will enhance the knowledge of parents that extreme usage of social media can cause problems of health to their childeren. Likewise, educational institutes can take the benefits of these findings to avoid such technology at their campus. Meanwhile, the policy makers of governement can take the guide while designing the regulatory policies for institutes and awareness compaigns. Future directions and limitations are provided at the end of the this study. Key Words: Social Media Usage, Depreesion, Young adults.
