Interdisciplinary learning enables students to discuss problems and generate creative solutions in a flexible and comprehensive manner. A trend towards more interdisciplinary courses and departments exists in higher education. The use of creative design methods can help people generate many ideas. Interdisciplinary groups can generate innovative solutions through creative design methods by applying knowledge from different fields. According to past teaching experience, when engaging in group work, students were generally willing to cooperate with classmates from different departments. However, when facing the stress of final assignments, they tended to form groups with students from the same department rather than engage in interdisciplinary cooperation. In this study, the students were placed into interdisciplinary groups for the following activities: labeling (visual department labels), taking turns to be group leaders, introducing departments, setting propositions, and giving instant feedback. This increased students' interaction with other students. Students' interdisciplinary awareness was improved through practice drills. After engaging in group work, they no longer resisted interdisciplinary cooperation but were willing to engage in interdisciplinary activities, which increased creative output. The results revealed that intentional interdisciplinary grouping can (1) increase willingness to engage in interdisciplinary cooperation, increase satisfaction with teamwork, and (3) improve learning effectiveness.

The scientific and reasonable evaluation indicators that can fully reflect the various dimensions of students' computational thinking (CT) skills is the basis and premise of accurately evaluating students' CT skills, which is of great significance to the cultivation of students' CT skills. However, the current research on how to construct the evaluation indicators is still inadequate, and most of the research is put forward by the subjective experience of researchers, lacking objectivity and the universality of ability. In the paper, we comprehensively reviewed the concepts of CT in the theoretical literature of CT, aiming to construct the comprehensive and effective evaluation indicators of CT for students by clustering the keywords of CT concepts and extracting indicators. The validity of indicators is verified by qualitative analysis, quantitative analysis and expert evaluation. The results show that the evaluation indicators of CT constructed by spectral clustering technology are a more scientific, more comprehensive reflection of the ability dimensions of CT. It has unique advantages in constructing objective and comprehensive evaluation indicators and provides an evaluation basis for the evaluation practice of CT skills.

The Semantic Web is applied to help computers to recognize the contents of documents and improve the efficiency of internet search. In general, the resource description framework (RDF) model is used in the semantic web to describe the links among data to data (or thing to thing), and these are called Linked Data. The Linked Data technique has been applied to many fields such as finance, business, government and education. Additionally, some famous search engines, like Google and Yahoo, also utilize Linked Data technique into their retrieval system. As the Linked Open Data (LOD) project aimed to convert the open data structure into the Linked Data structure for connection and use of different data sources. This study focused on the Linked Data application for expansion of education knowledge based on the related content from Wikipedia. A retrieval system was established to integrate education knowledge and examine the connection between linked knowledge of subject events and other resource objects based on arious disciplines. Furthermore, we discussed the possible development of Linked Data technology in the education in conjunction with the government's open data policy.

Human resource management (HRM) courses generally highlight their theoreticality, practicality and applicability. Nonetheless, certain flaws in traditional HRM courses hinder students from developing their ability to practice and apply what they have learned in class. This paper analyses some of the existing shortcomings in college HRM courses. It then proposes updating teaching objectives and concepts pragmatically, adopting innovative approaches to education, motivating students to engage actively in class activities and offering students the additional benefit of reformed HRM courses against a backdrop of integration with regional industries. Valuable efforts have been made to revise the content, teaching processes and assessment methods of HRM courses. Accordingly, this paper outlines targeted research and discussion on existing reforms and puts forward feasible recommendations.

This research mainly uses product design courses, combined with PBL (Problem-Based Learning) arguments, to carry out course innovation planning and teaching practice, to improve teachers' teaching ability and students' willingness to learn to achieve a win-win goal. The research method is based on the five stages of “induce attention”, “analyzing the problem”, “exploring the problem”, “presenting the solution” and “evaluating the learning effect” in the PBL framework; And integrated into three stages of implementation, namely “inducing interest”, “implementing innovation” and “validating learning”. The results of the study found that students can clearly discover various problems in their own design through PBL and can discuss solutions with teachers; and teachers can use PBL problems to help students solve design difficulties. The respondents in this study were given PBL and group discussions about the acrylic competition, and finally summarized the categories of “stand device”, “storage display device”, “lighting device”, “work box device” and so on. The results of this research can improve students' cognitive learning, improve the development of design ability in the future, and provide relevant product design curriculum planning and academic research reference.

The COVID-19 pandemic has changed all types of activities, including in the education sector. As an online education platform, MOOCs are one of the innovations in distance learning. The number of MOOCs users during the COVID-19 pandemic has increased rapidly, but the drop-out rate for MOOC users has also increased. Many MOOCs users do not complete the course they have chosen on MOOCs. One of the things that causes the high drop-out rate and low retention of MOOCs participants is the level of understanding of MOOCs participants towards the design and the interest and satisfaction of participants in existing MOOCs features or elements. Based on these problems, this research will analyze the design pattern based on the existing element classification using Two Factor Theory. The elements available in the MOOC will be classified into two factors, namely hygiene-factor and motivation-factor. Hygiene-factor is a MOOCs element that must be present, while motivation-factor is a MOOCs element that can increase MOOCs user satisfaction. The method used in the classification of these two factors is sentiment-analysis by utilizing NLP (Natural Language Processing) technology. The expected results in this literature review are references to elements in the MOOC based on previous research. The results of the identification of these elements will later be used as initialization data in the analysis of the MOOC design pattern using NLP technology.

Forecasting the number of incidences of medical cases is important in planning institutional health program strategies to draft intervention and allocate resources. The utilization of advancements in computing and the use of massive health data create possibilities for the generation of tools in a recommender system. This study focused on medical cases forecasting using exponential smoothing model for the development of resource allocation recommender system. Different data pre-processing techniques were used such as imputation and data cleaning in the historical dataset. To determine which set of alpha values can be considered and be used in the development of online resource allocation recommender system for Mabalacat City Health Unit, the mean absolute percent error and mean absolute deviation were used. Exponential smoothing with an alpha value of 0.9 and 0.3 have high forecasted values than that of Exponential smoothing using 0.1, 0.5 and 0.7 respectively.
