As the world is getting more connected and processing power increases, the need for undergraduate students to have a solid foundation in machine learning and computer vision is becoming standard [1] [2]. In this paper, we develop a foundation for future computer vision and machine learning work through use of open-source software that can be used on personal and embedded devices. This foundation helps prepare students entering the workforce who will be working in autonomous vehicle safety and car control features.

Recent studies have acknowledged social media as a valuable pedagogical tool for connecting the formal and informal learning gap. However, as a new platform, the literature is sparse on the potential of TikTok as a knowledge source. In this study, we explored programming TikTok videos in the #LearnProgramming webpage in terms of content (programming languages and topics) and characteristics (video styles and types). Although TikTok is principally an entertainment destination, our results show that the platform likewise has informative videos. The 349 videos that we examined received a total of 10,046,000 views, 10,523 comments, 932,871 likes, and 35,095 shares, implying extremely high levels of user engagement. Tiktokers showing tips and tricks are the most recurring content type. From a macro perspective, we noticed that TikTokers do not follow the ethos of the platform (e.g., dancing) when producing educational content. This deviation demonstrates the intent of TikTokers to educate than to entertain. Although it is too early to conclude that TikTok can operate as a nanolearning platform, we discovered a substantial amount of content for and engagement from programming learners. Our results lay a potent foundation for devising actionable scholastic implications, policies, and recommendations concerning TikTok consumption. Future works and research prospects were also discussed to propel the social media and nanolearning literature forward.

In recent years, there have been more and more discussions about the entry of personalized teaching into primary school classrooms. However, when scholars study the integration of elementary school mathematics education and personalized teaching, most of them focus on the cultivation of primary school students' comprehensive abilities, rather than precise discussion of a certain subject. Therefore, this article is driven by data, supported by artificial intelligence and big data technology, and focused on various directional courses as the main content. Aiming at the research on the differential training program of primary school mathematics education, it compares the difference between traditional primary school classrooms and primary school classrooms after the introduction of artificial intelligence. The Feasibility of combining elementary mathematics education with artificial intelligence is discussed from the aspects of training ideas, evaluation standards and data analysis methods. This research is expected to improve the mathematics teaching level of elementary schools and strengthen the accuracy and scientificity of the mathematics level of primary school students. Inject new vitality into the exploration of the combination of primary school mathematics teaching and big data, and provide directional help for the exploration of primary school teaching mode under the background of artificial intelligence.

The scientific and reasonable evaluation indicators that can fully reflect the various dimensions of students' computational thinking (CT) skills is the basis and premise of accurately evaluating students' CT skills, which is of great significance to the cultivation of students' CT skills. However, the current research on how to construct the evaluation indicators is still inadequate, and most of the research is put forward by the subjective experience of researchers, lacking objectivity and the universality of ability. In the paper, we comprehensively reviewed the concepts of CT in the theoretical literature of CT, aiming to construct the comprehensive and effective evaluation indicators of CT for students by clustering the keywords of CT concepts and extracting indicators. The validity of indicators is verified by qualitative analysis, quantitative analysis and expert evaluation. The results show that the evaluation indicators of CT constructed by spectral clustering technology are a more scientific, more comprehensive reflection of the ability dimensions of CT. It has unique advantages in constructing objective and comprehensive evaluation indicators and provides an evaluation basis for the evaluation practice of CT skills.

Forecasting the number of incidences of medical cases is important in planning institutional health program strategies to draft intervention and allocate resources. The utilization of advancements in computing and the use of massive health data create possibilities for the generation of tools in a recommender system. This study focused on medical cases forecasting using exponential smoothing model for the development of resource allocation recommender system. Different data pre-processing techniques were used such as imputation and data cleaning in the historical dataset. To determine which set of alpha values can be considered and be used in the development of online resource allocation recommender system for Mabalacat City Health Unit, the mean absolute percent error and mean absolute deviation were used. Exponential smoothing with an alpha value of 0.9 and 0.3 have high forecasted values than that of Exponential smoothing using 0.1, 0.5 and 0.7 respectively.

Human resource management (HRM) courses generally highlight their theoreticality, practicality and applicability. Nonetheless, certain flaws in traditional HRM courses hinder students from developing their ability to practice and apply what they have learned in class. This paper analyses some of the existing shortcomings in college HRM courses. It then proposes updating teaching objectives and concepts pragmatically, adopting innovative approaches to education, motivating students to engage actively in class activities and offering students the additional benefit of reformed HRM courses against a backdrop of integration with regional industries. Valuable efforts have been made to revise the content, teaching processes and assessment methods of HRM courses. Accordingly, this paper outlines targeted research and discussion on existing reforms and puts forward feasible recommendations.

Under the dual background of professional certification and curriculum reform at present, the concept of OBE is an advanced concept of curriculum reform and practice for teachers’ majors in higher education. The concept of OBE inspired the curriculum objectives of normal majors should be determined by graduation requirements, the curriculum content should be reconstructed by professionalism, the curriculum teaching should be designed by student-centered, and the curriculum evaluation should be changed by ability training. Based on the OBE concept, the curriculum design and exploration of mathematics education for preschool children have determined the curriculum goal of organic integration of knowledge, ability and quality, reconstructed the “Three-stage” curriculum content integrating theory and practice, constructed the mixed teaching mode of the dual mentor guidance, and formed a measurable comprehensive evaluation of growth.

This research mainly uses product design courses, combined with PBL (Problem-Based Learning) arguments, to carry out course innovation planning and teaching practice, to improve teachers' teaching ability and students' willingness to learn to achieve a win-win goal. The research method is based on the five stages of “induce attention”, “analyzing the problem”, “exploring the problem”, “presenting the solution” and “evaluating the learning effect” in the PBL framework; And integrated into three stages of implementation, namely “inducing interest”, “implementing innovation” and “validating learning”. The results of the study found that students can clearly discover various problems in their own design through PBL and can discuss solutions with teachers; and teachers can use PBL problems to help students solve design difficulties. The respondents in this study were given PBL and group discussions about the acrylic competition, and finally summarized the categories of “stand device”, “storage display device”, “lighting device”, “work box device” and so on. The results of this research can improve students' cognitive learning, improve the development of design ability in the future, and provide relevant product design curriculum planning and academic research reference.
